Raysleek:Raysleek! because u supply gas to a privately owned organization does not give u the authority over the entire power value chain in Nigeria! I bet ur still a kid (maybe an intern at d gas supply company). Do u no d the power chain has bn divided into 3? Do u no the installed and currently operational capacities of the 3 sub-sectors? Do u no whatever amount of power generated is divided in an already set percentages within the 11 discos? Do u no that these quantum of energy must be paid in full after deducting ATC&C losses (which is even preset by the regulator). U just think by working in a gas-refill company, ur now d Lord Manor of the power industry. Beta face ur IT and complete ur logbook as at when due. |
[quote author=Raysleek post=81600091]If the power is available even though expensive people are a liking to pay no matter what for it. The poor are being bullied based on estimation while the rich are rightly metered. Seems you are the one still sleeping. Pls make sense and don't make noise. FYI I work in a natural gas delivery company.. Supplying natural gas to big companies and camps like Rccg camp for example. They have generating capacity of 30mw. Constant electricity 247 and everyone in the camp is metered with prepaid meters.. The facility has been running since your sense left you. Same with winners camp. Sumal foods in oluyole estate Ibadan just to mention a few. So even if you are a disco official.. You met people working there. You don't know shii[/] You dnt av to b abusive to make ur point raysleek! Mr oil and gas. |
blaise26abj:Its obvious ur not current with happenings around u. Have u heard about "Franchising" or "Embedded Generation"? |
Dygeasy:Pls show me where in the constitution where there's right to electricity? Everybody's shouting Rights. Have u compared our tarrifs with even other African countries' then u can say if power is a right or not. |
Raysleek:Better you wake up and accept that fact! Electricity is business everywhere in the world. If u want top power then b ready to pay top dollar |
FLAKARIBE:***no over heating but d fan is direct. Its only in Nigeria kazeem go dey follow owner argue. I have told him I want the thermostat replaced n he keeps discouraging me. I swear bro! When in full flight, this car is something else. Very underrated is very apt. Thanks for your advise tho. I go try study more on the codes. |
Hello Car gurus, I drive a Mazda 6 2005 sport and its been hell for the past two months. First, I was advised to change the shaft due to some cranky noise anytime I made a sharp turn. Then the AT light comes on often which makes the car to seriously drag anytime I move d car from rest or maybe in traffic. Sometimes tho when I park it for sometime the AT light is off n d car accelerates normally but immediately I hit a bump, d light comes on again. Second, I do experience loss of power when am accelerating at maybe 40km/h, the electrician has advised I change the entire fuel pump unit. Abeg help a brother cos this wahala can be very depressing especially when ur new in an area the mechanics here r only used to Toyota. I have scanned d car twice and these r d error codes: p0340, p0032, p2004, p0126. But I have realised that these guys can't even resolve these codes. Abeg make una advise me on the specifics to do to get this car back in shape. Many thanks. |

MizMyColi:Actually my first time of directly replying u! sorry for the "lateness" |
MizMyColi:are u for real Did u mean all u said up there or ur indulging in part-time comedy A whole world-bank trained financial expert does not have the expense account of $322m she personally disbursed!Walahi. I give up on U!!! |
whirlwind7:why are u so pessimistic? i think naturally some of u r just antagonistic of good things of life. All over the world, citizens protest against corruption and allegedly corrupt people even in better democracies n climes like the US or Britain. All you lot keep saying is the system is corrupt n blah blah blah without offering viable alternatives but just arm chair criticism. If u r not satisfied with the system, have u presented urself for a public office before? Or in what other way r u trying to change the "system"? finally, the system isnt a tangible entity, it is made up of people and when there is an orientational change, the system will surely be sanitised! |
Absolutely on-point Seun! There are some of us who come on nairaland even during work periods basically to ease off the stress. The nairaland i knew some few years ago has been totally transformed to a form almost despicable owing to some miscreants disguising under whatever. One of the scary consequences is gradual assimilation of all these hatred being spewed here in to real life activities! Even the pictures of other people doing certain stuffs making frontpage e.g see "what davido is wearing this morning", can be quite appalling! Kudos to you once again Seun for restoring some measure of sanity. I hope the Mod is as efficient though. |
alexlee50:what should be checked did u ask same questions about roman abramovic, stan kroenke or farid khan or do u think all d necessary "checks" wouldnt have been done before completing d deal pls stop advertising ur ignorant and "pull-him-down" attitude on here! |
Some peoole are very disappointed seeing the name of this "hardworking" YORUBA man!!! |
alexlee50:so are u now the "people" to ask questions why badbelle just saturate ur blood like this? if u dont know kunle soname, guy google it! |

barcanista:Yes i am! And i can help u out in actually using ur talents to make cool chedda instead of dancing naked on nairaland! Oga barcanista! |
Barcanista, why not take to comedy Walahi u go blow quicker!!!Clown of the decade! |
Bollinger:Guy, ur still wrong! The american govt dont pay from its pockets. What they do is like a caretaker deal where they help the natives who have proof of ownership and ofcourse their forefathers signed the treaty back then! They help the natives collect royalties from companies using their lands for mining and others! Dont make it look as if the US govt is compelled to pay native indians for life! Like i said before many natives were compensated and their lands bought completely n its obvious some of dem ddnt relinquish total ownership which was a very wise move n apparently ur two indian frnds r beneficiaries. |
For the first time in 16years, jonathan walks ahead of his wife! Only God knows what he was thinking about! Pele bros! Otuoke is relatively peaceful n quite farther hinterland, so less visitors for u! |
Bollinger:Q: Do native Americans recieve compensation from the US govt? A: No, American Indians DO NOT receive compensation from the US Government. However, the US Government has a TRUST RESPONSIBILITY to American Indians and as the Trustee, collects revenue earned from land, minerals, water, etc. on behalf of *some* individual American Indians and *some* tribes. *Not all.* The US Government then distributes the money (which is the NDN's money to begin with) back to those NDNs for whom it was collected. Again, this does not apply to all American Indians, just those who have retained their land, mineral, water rights through treaty AKA a "contract." |
omonnakoda:Sum people can LIE eh!!! So who are the native indians n where are they still living ![]() Native indians ko corporate Igbo ni! Mayb he didnt know all lands were duly bought and compensated afterwards esp after the Alamo war with Spain. |
PMB aint stopping the amnesty deal - he is only not renewing it! #shikena If anybody do anyhow, i hope they c how easy it is to relocate the military command post. Pls dnt brin dem to ur backyard!! Congrats to every sincere nigerians! Thank u |
