Raysleek! because u supply gas to a privately owned organization does not give u the authority over the entire power value chain in Nigeria! I bet ur still a kid (maybe an intern at d gas supply company). Do u no d the power chain has bn divided into 3? Do u no the installed and currently operational capacities of the 3 sub-sectors? Do u no whatever amount of power generated is divided in an already set percentages within the 11 discos? Do u no that these quantum of energy must be paid in full after deducting ATC&C losses (which is even preset by the regulator).
U just think by working in a gas-refill company, ur now d Lord Manor of the power industry. Beta face ur IT and complete ur logbook as at when due.

An era will come with this stupid initiative that people will have meters but no electricity. An era where electricity is sold to the highest bidder to the detriment of the poorer Nigerians. The discos will have no motivation to improve as long as a segment of the populace can pay. Whoever implemented that initiative is the enemy of the people.

Solutions. Why not grant licenses to independent companies that can use gas to generate for small clusters to operate instead. Estates like Magodo can get a company to produce and distribute electricity for them . Stupid and selfish people in position of power

Any overheating, did you remove the thermostat, did you connect fan direct, add another cooling fan, bigger radiator with water alone inside ?

Hello Car gurus,
I drive a Mazda 6 2005 sport and its been hell for the past two months. First, I was advised to change the shaft due to some cranky noise anytime I made a sharp turn. Then the AT light comes on often which makes the car to seriously drag anytime I move d car from rest or maybe in traffic. Sometimes tho when I park it for sometime the AT light is off n d car accelerates normally but immediately I hit a bump, d light comes on again. Second, I do experience loss of power when am accelerating at maybe 40km/h, the electrician has advised I change the entire fuel pump unit. Abeg help a brother cos this wahala can be very depressing especially when ur new in an area the mechanics here r only used to Toyota. I have scanned d car twice and these r d error codes: p0340, p0032, p2004, p0126. But I have realised that these guys can't even resolve these codes. Abeg make una advise me on the specifics to do to get this car back in shape.

Every serving politician merely pay lip service to fighting corruption, "chop" their own due, and move on. Anyone who thinks PMB can make a big difference needs to rethink. One word of caution from IBB has made him checked himself and piped down. Wasn't it PMB who said Abacha wasn't corrupt and didn't steal? Yet, it was part of the recovered Abacha loot that got misappropriated in the guise of acquiring hardware for the military. This present anti-corruption drive is a charade.

why are u so pessimistic? i think naturally some of u r just antagonistic of good things of life. All over the world, citizens protest against corruption and allegedly corrupt people even in better democracies n climes like the US or Britain.

Absolutely on-point Seun! There are some of us who come on nairaland even during work periods basically to ease off the stress. The nairaland i knew some few years ago has been totally transformed to a form almost despicable owing to some miscreants disguising under whatever. One of the scary consequences is gradual assimilation of all these hatred being spewed here in to real life activities!

Even the pictures of other people doing certain stuffs making frontpage e.g see "what davido is wearing this morning", can be quite appalling!
