And you are still 'pretending' to misunderstand me.
not pretending anything..you Said the northerners and to some extent the sw do not wash their dirty linen in public...well you opened this thread to say how the northerners are united and how the south especially the se and ss always wash their dirty linen in public as you say in some threads..do you not see the opening of this thread as washing the supposed dirty linen in public since you say southerners are not united like northerners?..is this not also public space?

Clearly, you all misunderstood me especially those asking me if my moniker was hacked. Go back and read my post especially the last line and see I don't really support when they are united against others but that's what has kept them successful in the game of politics. But since it's a struggle for survival then let's emulate them.it is only a foolish man who will see his brother fighting outside and not defend him there even if the brother is at fault. Defend him there and scold him inside. And I gave example with my northern friends.

All of you attacking me,let me ask you, where is Muazu and the northerners who supported Jonathan? Now,compare this to the South east and south south folks who didn't support Jonathan.
All these talks here is not going to change the truth that we southerners especially south east and south south are not united. Or how do we explain the way we disgrace ourselves on our various eastern state threads fighting over who is greater. Have you seen the Hausas or Yorubas doing so? Even if they have something against their brother they don't wash their dirty linen in public like we do or throw cheap blackmails all because your brother didn't agree with you. Truth is bitter. Insult me if you want.
you are also displaying what you are criticizing

Ben Bruce you are spot on. We know those crying foul, it is in their DNA to see negatives in all PMB actions and inactions
Sheared HYPOCRISY is telling us before the presidential election that Tinubu will manipulate PMB if elected and later whipping up sentiment that Tinubu have been relegated.
MUMUTOCRACY is rejecting Mr Ukachukwu Ibe as an Ibo from delta state but regarding a kilba man Pastor David B. the present SFG as a hausa-fulani man.
we also know those the nonsensical 'educationally disadvantaged ' is used to help to enter unity and universities all in the name of quota system

they have started doing it...it is still at construction stage..just that I am not too impressed with the quality of their equipment..let me just leave at that...and they be quick with it because sand dunes used for the construction of that rd are gradually being carried to aladinma primary school all the to ohaozara street .

I'm from Niger Delta Igbo myself so I gain more from oil if that is the issue. The issue is the hate speech against Hausa, Yoruba and the entire North and Southwest by radio Biafra. The worst is the claim of other peoples land like Iguocha and other minority area surrounding Igboland. Meanwhile majority of your people are living there.

The "radio Biafra" I will support is the one that will

1) preach Igbo unity

2) Encourage Igbos to locate their business headquatres in Igboland

3) Encourage good leadership

4) Condemn tribalism and religious intolerance

5) Allow Niger Deltans be and stop the disgusting attache by force.

6) Preach against get rich quick syndrome

7) Embark on scholarship scheme for brainy Igbis from poor background

Let me stop at this 7 as the list is endless.

This hospital is the greatest thing Igbos will collectively do since we built the Imo Airport. If we work together we can build the 2nd Niger bridge in 6 months without all these 30 years of insult from IBB, Obasanjo and Jonathan.
I disagree with the second niger bridge..if Igbo build it then it means there is no use being in Nigeria

Now the thief! has to borrow 26. 806 billion even though the state receives about the highest allocation in the SE and has the highest tax rates.

Where has all that money gone?

Imo has no new infrastructure to back up the monumental debt it owes, what a shame.

Thank God for Peter Obi.

I wish that man can rule Nigeria even if it is for one tenure, everyone will testify.
I shudder to think how that 26bn for Imo came about

A New Hospital Concept for the 21st Century Igbo land

https://www.nigerianfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Hospital-Model.jpg

With the less that optimal performance of health care system in Nigeria leading to unnecessary deaths and loss of wealth in Igbo land due to medical tourism, World Igbo Congress has rallied the Igbo wealth of health care professionals in the Diaspora to introduce a new hospital concept focused on telemedicine built on outpatient services while maintaining critical emergency and acute care services. This model is unique because of the availability of world-class physicians abroad and locally who will provide an array of specialty services not otherwise available locally.

While it has often been believed that southeast and South-South zones and indeed the federal republic of Nigeria has an impressive number of tertiary teaching hospitals and Federal Medical Centers the paradigm of developing hospitals based on edifices and populated with health care staff who are mostly government employees is flawed. This is the bane of the Nigerian health care system and the root of its non-performance. Providence Hospital and Life Care System will take advantage of its proximity to these major local hospitals, by reversing the flow of patients and drawing on the large population centers of area for outpatient and surgery specialties, as well as affordable integrated health services that are well appreciated and in demand in the region.

At its heart, the plan relies on the high quality of clinical care that World Igbo Congress has rallied from the rich Igbo endowment of world class health care professionals in the US and Europe while expanding specialty services that build on this excellence. Direct marketing of these services is anticipated to attract patients from across the southeast and South-south administrative zones and as far as the countries in west and central Africa and enhance revenues across all service lines.
The plan also anticipates close alliances with local and regional healthcare providers by adopting telemedicine technologies that expand specialty patient care into local clinics, other hospitals in the region and worldwide through telemedicine.

Cloud based technologies for telemedicine, lab results, imaging and electronic health records will connect physicians and patients from any location including at every bedside. This unique opportunity to be a hub for telemedicine for the entire region will be led by our team of renowned specialists in telemedicine, and a team of world class specialists.

Operational strategies will add significantly to the bottom line and will be overseen by a board of 15 healthcare and business professionals. PHLCS will recruit an experienced administrator nationally recognized for excellent leadership skills.

Among the many new initiatives this plan identifies are:
• New outpatient services that will drive the utilization of lab, imaging, infusion, and inpatient services.
• A new marketing and patient education center within the hospital targeting a wider geographic area than just Igbo land.
• A patient experience focus that creates patient loyalty while offering services that are desired in the region.
• Operational excellence that ensures accurate charge capture, billing and collections.
• World class physicians offering specialty services that are not easily available in our region today
• Electronic Health technology and telemedicine, which improve access to patient clinical diagnosis and information for both patients and physicians in Nigeria and in renowned medical centers of excellence around the globe.
• Specialty institutes such as Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, Brain and Spine Institute, Urology Institute, Integrative Health Institute, Endocrinology Institute, Rheumatology Institute and Wound Care Institute to capture and excel in the spectrum of ailments that beleaguer our people
• A business and health care oriented board, which will provide governance and demand fiscal responsibility, business growth and clinical excellence.
• A new community of health professionals complete with infrastructure, accommodation, security, schools and other facilities that make for a serene community living

The Ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to hold at Ojukwu Conference Center in Owerri Imo State on August 14, 2015. The Executive Governor of Imo State Chief Rochas Okorocha will perform the ceremony. Members of his administration, the business community of the southeast, the traditional rulers and the people will be in attendance. The Chairman of World Igbo Congress, Joe Nze Eto, The Vice Chairman of WIC, Dr. Ken Igwe, the Chairman of WIC Health Committee, Dr. Jonathan Nwiloh, the Secretary-General of WIC, Dr. (Mrs.) Agatha Anosike, The Executive Director of WIC, Professor Anthony Ejiofor, Dr. Nkechi Azie, Secretary of the WIC Health Care Committee, Professor Chidi Onyenekwu and the Event Coordinator Muna Okpi among numerous people from home and abroad will be on the ground for the event.

Who will repay all those loans? And from where? Crude oil prices can only go on way from now onwards, and that's downwards,Imo monthly allocation from the FG is not going to increase anytime soon.
actually 14bn for abia is a bit on the high side including the already existing 6bn the owe as their domestic debt..abia needs a focused and financial guru to really run the state if you also include the 30bn the present gov borrowed..
As for Imo I shudder to think the cummulative debt now

How can the bridge burst out at Ozubulu on Onitsha- Owerri exp. rd and then continue leftwards to meet Onitsha - Enugu rd at a point. Confused pls throw more light.
it will go back up to meet Enugu Onitsha express at a point...to be honest I am not too sure of that drawing because I kinda found it cumbersome
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 8:08pm On Sep 01, 2015
BuddahMonk:
The market won't be that viable because Aba and Onitsha have established themselves in the minds of customers all over Africa.
They should have build it in one of the two cities because I wouldn't see any reason where a customer from Benin City will come to Onitsha to buy wares from there enter another vehicle going to Mgbidi to buy computer accessories.

The company is myopic, they should have leverage on the successes of Aba and Onitsha and establish their business there.

Okay that market Nnamani built at 9th mile up till now nobody is occupying the place, even the project was abandoned halfway because nobody saw any economic importance of it when there is Ogbete, New Market and Kenyatta Market in Enugu.

Mgbidi should be industrial outpost of Owerri, Aba and Onitsha just like Shagamu, Agbara and ota are offshots of Lagos industrial clusters.

You don't need market at Mgbidi because Aba and Onitsha will stifle her of customers. What Mgbidi need is industrial estate and hotels because of the lorry drivers.
well it is for the private firm to worry about..they wpuld be the one to lose if there are no buyers and customers..i would have been more worried if it was govt building it

Hope you've seen I'm not the only one with that view about the market.
I know but since it is not govt building it well the private firm should know better
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 6:50pm On Sep 01, 2015
BuddahMonk:
I wish this market should be sited in onitsha or Aba. Mgbidi is not a commercial area and scattering of markets everywhere in igboland is not good.

I wish Igbos should make Anambra and Abia there industrial and commercial capital where Enugu and Owerri will be for offices and service firms, agriculture, tourism, education, medical and leisures.

Which market will Mgbidi serve situating inbetween Onitsha and Aba, these two commercial centers must have blocked the customers from the South South States and some Northern States. Even Onitsha computer market is expanding seriously.

Imo and Enugu should jettison markets, Mgbidi is a bad choice for the market.

Let's know what others will say.
I think it depends on the amt of money circulating in the east...the more money circulating the more demand for goods and services..if money generating outfits increases the more the disposable income and as that increases their is likely hood that single or even double market source might not be enough any longer..at least this is not a govt project (the estate firm in charge of building this market built aspamda)so the firm should have done its analysis..now for those computer village guys to buy into these just maybe there is something they I do not know....moreover you wrote anambra and abia as commercial areas while Enugu and owerri as service and leisure areas..well owerri is not the whom Imo state..economic activities have to take place in other parts of Imo too..like someone said in the Enugu thread there exists building material market in nsukka that is bigger than the Dei Dei market in abuja
PoliticsRe: Facts You Didnt Know About The Second Niger Bridge by asha80(m): 5:13pm On Sep 01, 2015
Whynotthetruth:
Yes...I noticed too...but I felt maybe the project cuts through Onitsha/Owerri road to burst out there...thus avoiding congesting Bridge head or Upper Iweka or other such Onitsha traffic for those going to Enugu/Awka or other such places....

Hence Onitsha urban isn't disturbed either by those going to Owerri/Aba/PH or Awka/Enugu/Abakaliki etc
from the schematics I saw somewhere before the bridge is supposed to burst out at somewhere near ozubulu along owerri Onitsha express and then continue to meet Enugu pnitsha express at a point I cannot remember now
