IsraeliAIRFORCE: The government on auto-pilot is better than the one in reverse gear controlled by the blind.
President Buhari left the country without a blueprint and policy directives for 3 months thereby necessitating the unimaginable degree of uncertainty in Nigerian Stock market.
Oando shares is now valued at N9.9 per share.
This is worst period to invest in Nigeria. All foreign direct investments are on hold waiting when Buhari will stop propaganda and start the business of governance.
Until then, Nigeria economy will continue to be on hold as Jeda committee's recommendations "of destroying everything in a bid to erase any imaginable legacy of Jonathan's administration" are being implemented. actually there is a saying that it is when stocks plummet that wise investors buy stocks...that oando is 9 naira now should necessitate shrewd investors to buy |

Goke7: It is very obvious most guys did not read the entire report before jumping to nail PMB to the crosss, it also shows how we confuse ourselves in this nation, if the said project was in the north or the west, most of the guys crucifying PMB here will be praising and asking him to even probe further, but am surprised that they are not even saying that the Niger bridge contract itself should be probed to see if any corruption took place.
The same people were up in arms when the Falomo complex sandal broke out but as soon as Elumelu's name was mentioned, they changed their tongue asking Ambode to protect the business of their son instead of persecuting him but we all saw how they nailed Fashola to the cross over the contracts he awarded.
Something is very wrong with us as a people! stop chatting rubbish..the falomo issue is btw ambode and fashola..that elumelu is involved is just coincidence...how come ambode gave the public the wrong info with regards to the 50m expression of interest issue which he termed amt payed for 50yrs |

EasternLion: No wonder, is he not the one asking the Eastern governors, all of them to indulge the diaspora, he lauded the security and economic summit in Awka and asked them to continue. He has been asking all the governors in Biafraland not to look at FG, bit look inwards and make their states economical viable, because he knows hard times are coming. He praises Obiano, Wike, Okowa and Ikpeazu and wants Udom to declare where he stands. He is even proposing the various governors reach out to them with a request for any project and allow them undertake the project without government help.
He is changing his 'hate' speeches a bit, at least he is indulging the governors a bit. believe me if he focuses more on ways of achieving Biafra, way it should be governed, putting pressure of the state govts, exposing corruption and hypocrisy both on fg and state govts and focus less and less hate messages he will win more of the neutral hearts...i once asked a cousin of mine who has lived in Barcelona for long and he say the a catalan station there broadcast more of Catalan pride and culture and hardly on hate messages against madrid |

When you compare these in terms of cost and magnitude, you see what a gargantuan scam the contract for the second Niger bridge is. It must be reviewed (not scrapped) to save cost. just to correct an impression...the second niger bridge is not only the bridge component but includes approach rd from asaba and connecing roads and small bridges to Onitsha owerri expressway and Onitsha Enugu expressway through mashy terrain |

He is more credible than any Igbo leader alive and commands more followers than all of them put together. No one wants to be attacked by him in the media. I'm afraid, ACF will fight this battle alone.

Stolen: He needs to finish that project fast and start expansion straight away in Ebonyi where the limestone is located for efficiency. He should focus on building capacity in Ebonyi to match Dangote.
His objective is to take over the SS/SE market. Lagos, Abuja and Jos will follow behind.
If he can produce as much cement as Dangote with lower cost then he will be fine. ibeto is lucky that umahi which he backed is now governor and umahi reciprocated by removing all obstacles and objections to ibeto getting hold of that nigercem otherwise this thing we are discussing now will not be what we will be discussing |
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by asha80(m): 6:48pm On Aug 26, 2015 |
Stolen: Asha we are talking about the largest cement producer in Africa and a potential threat from Ibeto to his market dominance.
Everybody knows that igbos build like mad. Even a poor civil servant has a building project.
If not shop then decent homes. Ibeto has the ability to drive Dangote from his biggest market in the East and South South.
Rival him in Lagos and Abuja. Jos included and dat is why Dangote is building capacity via expansion in preparation to drop price.
He will increase supply above demand and drop the price of cement. This is similar to wat happened to America shale oil and opec. I know but dangote had a 'head start' over ibeto due to obasanjo's shenanigans and martin elechi's short sight..ibeto just have to compete..thats all |
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by asha80(m): 6:38pm On Aug 26, 2015 |
Stolen: Ibeto is in trouble because Dangote is very busy building capacity to occupy and dominate the African Cement market.
Ibeto need to start thinking of expansion of his Cement factory in Ebonyi to stand a chance.
Dangote will drop the price of cement to drive him out of market. There will be no honeymoon period for Ibeto.
No period of controlling price. ibeto is not the only cement manufacturer in Nigeria apart from dangote..by the way ibeto has to make nigercem operate again before expansion...though cheaper cement is good for builders |

Imo legislature recommends expulsion of coca-cola company Insists coy must tender c-of-o for certification
– Posted 3 days agoPosted in: Economy, International News, Local News, Security
The State House of Assembly Imo state, on Tuesday August, 18, 2015 recommended that, the executive governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha should take urgent steps in revocation of the certificate of occupancy (c-of-o) for over 300 hectres of land allocated operations of the Nigerian Bottling Company, (NBC), manufacturers of coca-cola soft drinks, in Okigwe LGA, considering the excruciating economic down-turn ravaging the state. Addressing the Assembly during interface with authorities of the NBC led by the operations manager, Mallam Aliyu Bako, speaker of the House of Assembly Rt. Hon.Acho Ihim, said that the move became most-imperative, in view of the fact that, the company, which occupied the vast land in Okigwe, Imo State for thirty (30) years, has not shown convincing will and desire to help address the unemployment scourge in the state among other bothering issues trailing the protracted delay to begin business by the multi-national firm. During the summon, preceded by a cross-fire of “question and answer” session upon resolution on a house motion earlier moved by the member representing Njaba constituency, Hon. (Mrs) Uju Mbadiwe, the embittered Majority of the state lawmakers, who took a swipe in ensuring that authorities of the NBC present for certification, operational permit and other papers issued them on allocation of the land at Okigwe since 30years ago, maintaing that, if the company is not ready to begin work on the land, the certificate of occupancy be withdrawn as other companies are readily available to invest there, in the state. The aggrieved lawmakers, notable among whom are, the deputy speaker Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo, (Nwangele) Hon. Chinedu Ofor (Onuimo),Hon. Kennedy Ibeh (Obowo),Hon.Obinna Egu (Ngor-Okpala), Hon.Mike Iheanetu (Aboh-Mbaise) Hon.(Mrs) Uju Mbadiwe (Njaba), Hon Ikechukwu Amuka (Ideato-south) Hon. (Mrs) Ngozi Obiefule (Isu) and Hon.Victor Onyewuchi (Owerri West); are of the view that since the multi-national company has long delayed in the installation of takeoff facilities and equipment, even in the face of the industrialization policy by the governor, Okorocha anchored on attracting business investors in the state for even development, the company should quit, to pave way for others willing to invest, so as to suit the state’s economic needs. However, the NBC led by Mallam Boko had earlier informed the Assembly that it has plans to complete the ground-breaking operations on the site before the end of 2016, after which it begins installations of mega facilities that would be actualized in the year, 2020. Consequently, the Assembly led by Speaker Ihim, set up an 8-man committee to mandate the company to redirect its master plan, tender evidence of land allocation or risk revocation. The committee is chaired by Hon. Ike Amuka and seven others.
