Hustoto: How can cash shortage hit banks. What does transferring money from an account to another have to do with cash in their vault? If u enter a bank branch and transfer 50million from your account to another account, does it affect the cash the bank has in their vault? Are they physically moving cash? moving 200bn from a bank like zenith to cbn account is bound to affect zenith in the short run don't you think so? |

It would probably cause more harm than good. Pooling more money for politicians and civil servants to steal. I hope I'm wrong though. it will cause more good than harm...it is in the constitution but was not really implemented by previous administration...even if a saint becomes president he would need all the funds available...i also dont see how civil servants would benefit from implementation of tsa as they actually make more money when tsa was not effected than they would now (illegally of course) |

I really dont understand why the ibos can't get the message, the owners of Lagos are finally waking up.
If you think the LASG will support ibos over the agberos who help them secure votes during election and have more at stake in Lagos since it belongs to their fore fathers, then ibos need a reality check.
We all pay the dues together anyways so I don't understand the cries and tantrums of the biafrans. you think it is only igbos agberos affect?just look at your thinking |

Tolling this bridge is a very heartless scam against Igbos. It is quite ironic and sad at the same time that is is even Igbos themselves that are ready to defend the scammer with their lives. GEJ was really heartless on this one. are you saying the tolling figures he gave are incorrect? |

Bitterleafsoup: if you read the article Dumdum posted they have been doing it since 2012. They did experience some negative results and the same time the SLS drama was happening so we did not hear much about it.
As a matter of fact, deposit money banks stand to lose immensely from the implementation of TSA. This is because of the fact that public sector funds constitute a large chunk of commercial banks deposit. Indeed, it is estimated that commercial banks hold about N2.2 trillion public sector funds at the beginning of sector quarter of 2015. maybe it is high time banks in the country start doing real banking instead of relying on govt funds |

I will prefer if we build small cities with 30 floor buildings on small expanse of land while our rural areas remain scanty with enough lands for agriculture. difficult to adhere strictly to because of our scattered settlement pattern...moreover I am a big advocate of basic amenities being available even in the most rural of area...if you really love rural areas you should be to live there |

The truth is that the whole hullabaloo is aimed at stopping Okorocha's popularity. Has any IPOB member or MASSOB been killed in Imo since Okorocha was Governor?
