customized13: my question is can there be an election without rigging in abia? it can be minimized if abians are determined to see their votes stand or are abians a different stock from their imo counterparts?at least ihejirika is no longer in charge to supervise monumental rigging like in 2011. |

customized13: abia just need one reasonable man for the redemption. wrong..abians need to man up and make a change by voting voting whom they want and standing by it..are there no quality guys in other parties except pdp?talking about reasonable guys is ogah or otti not reasonable enough?enough of abians coming to nairaland to lament when obviously the solution is within their hands |

Does he really have a conscience?... apparently he does not have..but apparently abians can't seem to vote another candidate in another party except pdp. Mekusnwa: And he still wants to impose someone we don't even know on us again, Na wah oooo is anyone pointing a gun in ur head that you must vote ikpeazu if he becomes pdp candidate? |

if you do not like what is going on in abia pdp vote other candidates in other parties...it is that simple...if uche ogah does not get the nod of pdp and he does not go to contest in another party then vote for the second best candidate in alex otti it is that simple....must you vote for pdp?cant you voters in abia make deductive reasoning instead of coming to nairaland to lament?e tiri unu egbe n'isi na owu nani pdp ka unu ga na eti vote?huh?haba! |

ak47mann: Ala nna mu, NNEWI is accommodating to many industries even though is good for the economy but to me i feel funny whenever arrive home on xmas and ofala celebration the villa does not have that natural things i use to enjoyed with my cousins. For the past 8 yrs i have witness a lot of industries springing up everywhere and i think is changing the atmosphere with air pollution. Nnewi is not what it use to be any longer with natural fresh air and less economic activities,i wish the good old days will come back again my native land is turning to shangai china everyday big towns and cities in other parts of nigeria are also people's hometowns too....igbos should really stop looking at their hometowns as 'villages' and endeavour to turn them into thriving towns and cities. |

Ngwakwe: The project, he stated, "includes building of a seaport in Abia state, with an industrial park that would open up the area because in that industrial park, we will have fertilizer manufacturing company and processing plant. A lot of other ancillary industries will come up there, including petrochemical industries also. There would be over 26 oil tanks that would aid products storage, distribution and exportation. The focus is going to be mainly on our neighbouring African countries. hmmm obuaku city? |

Though Obiano has patched up some pot holes at venn road and modebe but streets like okwei, moore streets, sanieez and the ones you mentioned above needs serious attention. The irony is that the road has been like that since past 5 yrs. Everyone on nairaland has seen the picture of okwei street. Okwei street is the street where peter obi was snapped while he was walking on a plank campaigning for Obiano guy does it mean that the bida okwei road was abandoned?just asking http://www.m.worldstagegroup.com/readnews.php?&id=11667&active=news. |

Donclaracuzo: Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho, has strongly promised to implement a well articulated developmental agenda that would replicate exactly achievements of the late Sam Mbakwe whose administration has consistently adjudged the best in the state. His well refined and comprehensive economic blueprint had been carefully developed by his team to fully actualize the late Mbakwe’s dream of industrializing the state as well as creating genuine job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the state. talk is cheap bro. |

Plshavmercyamen: Nwanne, Most Imolites(myself inclusive) have been appealing to Owelle to jettison his presidency or VP bid to govern Imo for another 4 years. And I'm Sure, God willing he wil heed to our call. Udo diri gi i dont think he will heed any call of sort...remember in 2011 when he won he said he was going for only one term and that he wasnt a 'local'man but 'national' man...he has had 3 yrs to ponder this and he just decided a month ago to stick to his earlier decision..he can only change his mind if he does not get theticket for presidency or vice...he changing his mind after this scenarion would potray him as a desperate man which might not go down well with people in imo |

emmysoftyou: i doubt too, becos ifeanyi ararueme is meant to be the governor of imo state if he had no problems with obasanjo... Ohakim to me,he is just an opportunist who became a governor of imo state because it s the turn of okigwe zone to produce a governor since pdp gubernatorial aspirant is having problems with the president as at then.. this edge gave ohakim frm ppa party the previledge to become the governor of imo state. i would have prefare ifeanyi ararueme as a governor than ohakim guy i group ararume the way i group ohakim...people that imo state can do without...none of those two is worthy to become a governor.....to me now i prefer a chris anyanwu or a emmanuel iheanacho or obi adim. |

Ngwakwe: Yes, Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu transformed Aba to its best glory in his first term.
Rehabilitated 95% of the roads, constructed new roads, built New general hospital at Abayi, expanded Aba Sport stadium to 33,000 CAF approved capacity and many more in his first term.
President Obsanjo commended him and gave him the name No.1 Action Governor in one of his visits when he had so much to commission. orji kalu only did shallow work in aba...saying orji brought out the best glory in aba laughable as i wonder whay you would say about mbakwe's administration....orji works in aba did not last as long as mbakwe's own. |

to all imo people here, the next guber election is not to be treated lightly due to the reality that is dawning on us about dwindling oil revenue...we have to be quite careful about whoever we might want to choose as the person must posses the ability to steer the state in the coming yrs otherwise ugbo akuo for us....the last thing we need is a political jobber for governor...i am still at sea at what other source of revenue we can rely on due to the nature of our state. |
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 10:58pm On Nov 27, 2014 |
Abagworo: What this thread was meant to be was deviated when people started political battles instead of facing the topic. Ohakim tried his best which made me support him in the 2011 elections for Okigwe zone to complete their tenure. I will still support his comeback ahead of all other criminals gunning for Douglas house. Okorocha is a legend and has proven that so much can be done with limited time and funds.
This is the road that cuts through IMSU and Bishops court. It is being dualised and extended further to cut through MCC road and join Egbu road. It was one of Ohakim's unrealized dreams of a ring road. The other is Emmanuel college 3 weeks later. i doubt you know ohakim's history before he became governor...as far as i am concerend he is history in imo. |
