do you really need a university degree to work in an MTN Call Centre?
Off course not but i know some people will differ.

If you have a very good secondary school education you can work in any telecoms call center.

Your story above reminds me when i wanted to collect my mum's gratuity as she was dead.i had been running around to collect it for two years and it amounted to about 2.2million naira.

When the cheque was ready the woman who was about in her fifties looked at me and said 'am i not too young to handle this money' huh huh. I was 26 then undecided

The black diaspora is very vast. Some people do not know that blacks were taken to Mexico, but they can be found in the Vera Cruz area and along the Mexican coast in large numbers. There is actually quite a large number of blacks in Colombia. 4 million to be exact, yet people do not discuss that. I remember I was dumbfounded when a girl in my course told everyone around us that she was from Colombia. We were all amazed, because we never knew blacks existed in Colombia.

What is even more amazing is that people do not discuss the Arab slave trade either. You have Black African communities in Turkey, Iraq and even in in India and Pakistan.

Slavery was very extensive and Africa is the only continent that seen the greatest amount of forced migration in human history.
if you watch football a lot you should not be suprised.

I also noticed that they were not in a hurry to answer your question.  undecided

Frankly I don't understand this mad rush for presidency, especially through a familiar promise that never materialized before. These folks are talking as if Nigeria just began this year. We have been here since 1960!

By the way, why didn't the Yoruba second fiddle (Obasanjo and idiagbo) never end like ours? Why did they end up ruling Nigeria and we didn't?

I am more interested in the answer to these questions than the mad rush to a dodgy promise.
i think it is just bragging rights.I was once in a restaurant when one yoruba guy came in and was teasing me that igbo might not get the presidency and that was bad for us.i asked him what the yoruba presidency did for the yoruba and he said all fingers are not equal that all yorubas are not suppose to benefit from the yoruba presidency  huh

6. igbo awareness - by this am talking about that proudness of been who u are. anywhere arround murtala muhammed airport, yoruba language is the order of the day, visit anywhere in the hausa land, hausaman does not hide himself. it is embarrassing that as old as my mother, u can't finish a discussion without her speaking english. what am trying to say here is, igbos find it difficult to represent even inside the market. meet chinedu or emeka in a bank or any office, even after introducing urself as chidi, the discussion continues in english. this is one of the areas i look upto ohanaeze ndigbo to create awareness. educate the igbos on the need to identify with eachother. many igbo town union meeting in lagos are done with english language.
I honestly do not think anything can be done about this one.

I never accused you of any but you accused me of being Orji kalus follower just because of a suggestion of an opportunity we missed. You could easily have told me the disadvantage without trying to associate me as his follower.
see the issue is this.there would not have been any merger between ppa and apga because the egos of the main proponents in those parties orji kalu and ojukwu would not have permited it.so it still boils down to the individua;ism we are talking about.

the best bet would have been for either of the parties to swoop the south east which was something they seemed to be able to accomplish APGA was on a roller coaster to liberate the SE from PDP but the short-sightedness that is being replayed now in this quest to have an Igboman as vice president next year by all means helped crush APGA. Chekwas was accused of mismanagement and instead of harvesting his ideas of a pan-Igbo party and diplomatically resolving the issues, APGA was reduced by Umeh to an Anambra party.

the above is simply what destroyed apga.

orji kalu's ppa as far as i am concerened was dead on arrival giving his antics.forget the brief stint of ohakim ( another fraudster) in the party.

Ok ppa lost ground but still controlled abia state before it finally collapsed.why didn't Orji have patience to build the party to recover and consolidate if he believed in the party?after all tinubu lost ground and lost all south western states except lagos.is he not recovering those states now?

instead he went back to pdp.

You are a big fool for saying this.A very big fool. Why don't you try to prove me wrong without calling me Orji kalu man.Next thing I will be IBB man for disagreeing with Ohaneze's controversial endorsement. That I gave a suggestion of how we could have had 3 states under a pan-Igbo party, you started a personal attack.Remember a criminal can turn to a freedom fighter.
You are even a bigger fool for the bolded grin.Orji become freedom fighter after making abia almost a basket case. huh You must be having a laugh cheesy

Like i said earlier and also quoted @houvest

APGA was on a roller coaster to liberate the SE from PDP but the short-sightedness that is being replayed now in this quest to have an Igboman as vice president next year by all means helped crush APGA. Chekwas was accused of mismanagement and instead of harvesting his ideas of a pan-Igbo party and diplomatically resolving the issues, APGA was reduced by Umeh to an Anambra party. Its 1999 clout that swept the SE was removed and Obi managed with the help of Ikemba to keep APGA alive as a one state party. PPA tried to come on board as a replacement for APGA but the endemic and intrinsic selfishness of the demagogue Orji Kalu, made PPA to be DOA- dead on arrival.
I do not need to add any other thing. Also knowing our rugged individualsm how do you think Orji kalu's PPA with his big ego is going to agree to merge with APGA with Ojukwu's ego on this side huh

ChinenyeN:
We Igbo aren't blind followers, and the "leaders" know this. So, I feel that such a nature can be advantageous, in as much as it would help keep "leaders" in check.
haha i think this attitude will work is an only igbo country and definitely not nigeria.i mean i have seen several incidents in the past to say this.like the say in any situation there is an advantage and disadvantage. This attitude is very advantagoeus to us in many sphere's of our life in nigeria but definitely not politics within nigeria. You are competing with people who have a near herd mentality and you think you can beat them with this attitude in politics were compromises are the other of the day.

Sorry i do not think so.

ChinenyeN:
OnlyTruth, our individualism isn't the problem. A people can still be individualistic and cooperate, they just need their base interests to be appealed to. As at now, the so-called (so-called so, because they are not) "Igbo leaders" (i.e. your Ohanaeze) have yet to appeal to their peoples' base interests. Ohanaeze has realistically done little to nothing to bring anything together. In the wake of various recent social issues that were occurring in various Igbo areas, neither Ohanaeze's voice nor efforts were heard of. Yet, when it came time to discuss about the presidency aspirations of an Ijo man (which they have no business doing, in the first place), Ohanaeze wants to rear its head, claiming to speak for the very same people who hadn't/didn't hear its voice nor witness its efforts on issues that matter[ed].

Look, this republican nature we exhibit is not going anywhere, believe me. So, what should be done is to work with such a nature, using it to our advantage, by properly appealing to our base interests. That is the most reasonable approach, which your organization has failed to make use of.

Also note, the anti-Ohanaeze interest, as well as your nonsense yarn about elements against a common front are all in your head. People here have nothing against Ohanaeze, but they do disagree with Ohanaeze's approach to all this. So learn to tell the difference between antagonistic sentiments and disagreements.
I seroiusly doubt we use that to our advantage in nigeria.

PPA cannot merge with APGA and still remain a one man party. What is the difference between AC and PPA?AC was owned by Tinubu while PPA was owned by Orji. The difference is that the SW harnessed the potential of Tinubu's party hence ACN while SE brought Orji's party to its knees.
Look i know you a Kalu Orji man from previous discussions i have had with you but forget this this scenario you just painted.

What did Orji do for abia state during his reign?Mindless looting, nonsense braggadio and mamacracy.

Tinubu was also a reck in his time as lagos governor but he brought someone that lagosians are happy to be identified with.Whom did Orji Kalu bring?A totally confused and simple minded Theordore Orji who has made Abia a laughing stock.

Apga was in a way far more credible than PPA and won in anambra and imo(yes i said imo as people on groung know that Agbaso won that election only for Achike to do magic). The problem i have with agbaso was that he agreed to contest in the second election after the first one was mysteriously cancelled. If he did not contest in the second election he would have had a good ground to go to court.

Lastly Orji brought PPA down not south east due to his  endemic and intrinsic selfishness.

Even with all the issues it is Apga that is still ingovernment in anambra while ppa died a natuaral death.

also below is what wittled apga's influence in the south east

APGA was on a roller coaster to liberate the SE from PDP but the short-sightedness that is being replayed now in this quest to have an Igboman as vice president next year by all means helped  crush APGA. Chekwas was accused of mismanagement and instead of harvesting his ideas of a pan-Igbo party and diplomatically resolving the issues, APGA was reduced by Umeh to an Anambra party. If APGA had Merged with PPA to form APPA,we Igbos would have had a party of Southeast but PPA has been crushed and APGA lacks the mechanism to spread across the SE.A political party can adopt a candidate of their choice without raising much dust.ACN is gradually taking back SW from OBJ's grip which he used maradonic skills to bring them to their knees in 2003.Now PDP shall surely lose SW in 2011.
Apga merge with thief Orji kalu PPA?

Is Orji not back in pdp?
