That foolish ibo man is making a big shame of the country.
Why is it the ibos are always the same people used for the dirty work of either the north or the west.

Dis na de kain tin wen de happen wen we begin give superpowers ultimatum. These people control the press, they will begin to make us look like clowns internationally. Imagine forging a presidents signature, that is no minor allegation for any news agency in the World to publish; foreign news agencies usually stir clear off such stuff, especially when it is coming from an ally.
And people wonder why we are not being taking seriously as a nation.

I think America is right. The level of corruption in Nigeria is a threat to our national security and  all other aspects of life. Where people can easily be bought, everything is possible including breding of terror groups. Can you imagine the current problem in our presidency happening in any ideal society where there is no corruption. There is a thin line between corruption and insecurity. Do you think America will trust a nation where some elements are[b] brave enough to forge the president's signature and seal?

The only reasonable relationship between Nigeria and US is crude oil pepper soup that they are enjoying.Obama ignored us and went to Ghana. I knew he would.I read his Audacity of hope before he became President and he has never regarded Nigeria but he knows that it will be difficult for the world without our oil. What impart has the US-Nigeria relationship on the lives of average 150 million Nigerians. How many of them live abroad? Let them ban all our politicians so that our funds will remain here in the country.I support this ban and any diplomatic row.am in full support. There is market for our oil in Asia. Exactly! We behave as if our existence is dependent on them when we can make progress without them.
The problem is if our leaders are able to do that.Going by what is obtainable in nigeria i doubt that.
Because we don't know how to create wealth. Abiola nearly achieved that but messed up in handing his businesses over to his family. If you watch Oyibos and how they do business, you will realize that they don't necessarily hand over the affairs of their businesses to their children. Their children may still be the heir apparent but the affairs of the business is handled professionally while the children receive the dividends. You wouldn't blame us if we don't trust any professional Akingbola with our businesses because we stole the one we used to start off and are scared another sharp guy will rob us off our loot. That's why there is no Nigerian business that has lasted over 4 generations. If we are politically stable without this Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba rancor, people can relax and do business without fearing their managers, the banks etc.
I guess you are spot on here.

Washington is set to call Abuja’s bluff on a possible diplomatic row over the administration’s decision to put the country on its terror watch list.
Administration officials have ruled out reversing the action and dared Nigeria to show evidence of a comprehensive plan to fight terror groups.
White House sources said President Barack Obama signed off on the plan based on “preponderance of evidence that Nigeria has become a likely haven for terror groups, like Al-Qaida”.

F.B.I sources said the decision by Washington to place Nigeria on its terror watch list is a preventive measure to disrupt a likely attack on the country.

Officials disclosed that reliable intelligence had concluded that terror groups are likely to use Nigeria as a base for further attacks.
“For years, the C.I.A has documented evidence of Al-Qaida attempting to recruit and gain foothold in Nigeria, and its security agencies did nothing to confront the threat,” top Homeland Department officials stated.
“This is a security situation with the lives of Americans at risk. We are not prepared to risk American lives just to satisfy Nigerian officials” administration sources said.

Besides, the State Department said Nigeria knows what to do to get the country off the watch list.”
There has to be a visible and verifiable evidence that Nigerian authorities are improving security and intelligence gathering against not just terror groups, but also extremists and fundamentalists, especially in the northern part of the country,” State Department officials stated.
The White House also wants Nigeria to close Islamic schools that teach and influence youths into religious extremism.

“We believe measures like these would be concrete evidence the country is serious about fighting terror, rather than threatening the United States,” officials said.

SEYI Olayiwola Ahmed, the man who attempted to blow up the Superscreen TV on December 22, 2009
By Albert Akpor & Evelyn Usman

LAGOS — SEYI Olayiwola Ahmed, the man who attempted to blow up the Superscreen TV on December 22, 2009, yesterday, on his sick bed at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, said his intention was not to hurt anybody, not even staff of the Superscreen TV, but to draw the attention of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers’ Loveworld Church better known as the Christ Embassy.

The 30 year-old Oyo State-born film producer and father of one, said he manufactured the explosives himself having learnt it on the internet. He claimed that he had been working for the church for some time now adding that the last job he did was not paid for and that his intention was to actually get the attention of the pastor for financial assistance.

Ahmed said: “I am somebody who learnt things by intuition, and so I was always browsing the net and because I have special interest in explosive I learnt how to make them.

I actually made three explosives, it was the smallest one that exploded at Logemo House and got me injured. Like I said, I was in a financial mess after the lady in one of the branches terminated my contract with them. The church did not even pay me for the one we did earlier for them let alone the latest.

So I was frustrated and wanted something to do to feed my family. My mission at the Superscreen was to ask how much they pay for the shooting of soap operas and other things and not to hurt anybody.

But it happened that the man I met said the person who was in a position to give me some of the information was at the seventh floor. It was when I was going up that the explosive went off, ”
