He looked tired after the game today... kinda like why Switzerland did not invite shaqiri for their friendlies because he asked to be left out because of 'tiredness'..maybe we should seen how we can play without ndidi..anything can happen in a tournament injury or suspension(especially for his type of football) |

Kog45: Waheed Akanni is presently top gun in Lagos state sports circle.I think he work with Lagos state government regards sports.
In the 80s most of these guys value education even more than football, you should remember Akanni left for United States with Dehinde Akinlotan,Niyi Aderinoku known as OBODO now a big time oil magnate,Tajudeen Disu junior bro to coach Tunde Disu,Fatai Atere,Jonathan Akpoborie,Mike Emenalo,Augustine Igbinabaro,Mark Anunobi,Godwin Ekeh,Paul Okoku to further their education.
They went on MKO Abiola scholarship and some went through Chief Nathaniel Idowu the Father of great Athlete Phillip Idowu of Great Britain and some with the assistance of Anthony Ikhazoboh,Patrick Okpomo,Emeka Omeruo, and SB Williams.
In the 80s guys mixed sports with education and they are happy for it now Godwin ekeh is he related to Augustine ekeh? |

Nigeria's Garrincha: Victor Moses, Iwobi, Ndidi Will Be Too Hot For Argentina, Croatia To Handle
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/64364Moses2.jpg
Former Super Eagles winger Ndubuisi Okosieme has opined that Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will be Nigeria's key men at the World Cup and the quartet will cause Argentina, Croatia and Iceland problems.
Not taking into account the forfeited match against Algeria, Nigeria scored 11 goals during the African World Cup qualifiers with the quartet contributing to seven goals.
Moses, Iwobi, Ndidi and Kelechi have been named in Nigeria's 28-man roster for the international friendlies against Poland and Serbia later this month.
''I must confess to you that Rohr is doing very well. I went through the 28-man list that he just released for the two international friendlies and I concluded that Eagles mean business,'' Okosieme said to Nigerian Telegraph.
''I’m very happy with the current form of four of our players in top clubs in England. I see Moses, Iwobi, Iheanacho and Ndidi as players that will give Argentina and Croatia trouble.
''They will be too hot for our opponents to handle. Looking at the young crops of talented players we have in that list, Eagles will do wonders in Russia.''
Ndubuisi Okosieme, who was labelled the Nigerian Garrincha during his playing days, represented the Super Eagles at the 1988 African Cup of Nations.

Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 88 days 2 hours to go okosieme was a right winger in 80s and quite frankly he had 'rubber legs' ie a dribbler(especially maroc 88)..it is a stretch though equating him to garrincha |

U saw what happens at the last Euro where their fans clashed leaving many injured. . (Note this happened in France , a neutral ground)
Then what then will happen to the English fans right at the backyard of their enemies? ? remembering that incident now you could be right..the royal family has already announced that they will boycott the world cup but what can fifa do really other than trying to calm frayed nerves and making sure more security beefed up where english fans are to protect them from some russian fans that might want to be unruly? |

Official Brings Good News : Etebo, Ebuehi & Joel Obi Will Report For International Duty Published: March 16, 2018 Official Brings Good News : Etebo, Ebuehi & Joel Obi Will Report For International DutySuper Eagles Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye has put to rest once and for all speculation in the media that Joel Obi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Tyronne Ebuehi will not be available for next week's international friendly against Poland. In his latest update to allnigeriasoccer.com, Ibitoye confirmed that both Las Palmas and ADO Den Haag have not informed the Nigerian Federation about the injuries sustained by Etebo and Ebuehi, adding that the players are on the final stretch of the recovery process and will report for international duty next week. As for Joel Obi, there is nothing new from Ibitoye, but the injury update from Torino is not positive, with the club informing on Thursday via their official website that the central midfielder had an individual training session ahead of Sunday's visit of Fiorentina. Obi's appearances for the national team have been limited by physical problems but the midfielder has given his word that he will honour this latest invitation. Tyronne Ebuehi was sighted exercising with his teammates on Thursday, however, he remains doubtful to suit up against Excelsior in the Eredivisie this evening. Nigeria will face Poland on March 23 before flying to the English capital, where they will trade tackles with Serbia on March 27. Iceland, who are in the same Russia 2018 World Cup group with Nigeria, have released their 29-man squad for this month’s friendly games against Mexico and Peru in the United States of America, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side, who will be making their debut appearance at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, will face Mexico on March 23rd and then take on Peru four days later.

The country’s other top stars like Aron Einar Gunnarsson, who plays for English Championship outfit Bristol City, Burnley’s Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson and Emil Hallfreðsson, who plays for Udinese of Italy, are included in the list.
Iceland will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their second group game at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 22 at Volgograd Arena. Two-time world champions Argentina and former semi-finalists Croatia are the other teams in the group.

MetalJigsaw: People, How do you assess Victor Moses' present attacking brilliance, as he's been a permanent Wingback and never a winger at Chelsea which I want to believe is one of those factors affecting his current form particularly when going forward. I just hope it wont affect his confidence as he's that one player who constantly shoulders our attacking responsibilities in the SE the most. his present role in chelsea obviously has 'improved' his defensive responsibilities however is a bit of a question mark if that has not also numbed his attacking abilities though agreed the role he plays in SE is totally different from he does for chelsea |

zoboizee: When he retires then una eyes go see. Mikel is not indispensable. We have been winning matches before him, & after him we will still win. He has a poor recovery rate in the SE as far as am concerned. it still does not negate the fact the mikel is the only 'brain' for now in this team going to the world cup until maybe i see what joel obi can do..indispensible is not so much the issue but whether when push comes to shove against some uncompromising european defence whether other players of 'less brain' in our team can deliver..winning matches before him does not really matter here after all brazil largely qualified for usa 94 without any input from romario but he had to be brought back before the final qualifier against uruguay after their coach perreira and romario reached a compromise because romario was simply the best brazillian striker then. |

MetalJigsaw: England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland. All these are different countries. But they have one thing in common: They are the United Kingdom or British counties.
Another instance is Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Faroe Islands. These are Scandinavian countries as a unit but they are different as countries.

komekn: Ogu is limited for me predictable admittedly assured but his lack of pace is a liability for me. His ability to recover is very suspect particularly against pacy midfielders.
He struggles to turn from defence into attack.
We already have one slow midfield player in Mikel who will not run back to recover. In this regard having Ogu could see us concede the midfield very quickly.
Etebo brings indisciplined unpredictability he creates uncertainty in the opponents he has pace and makes midfielder double team on him. My view he who dares wins, I prefer Etebo. i will like if these characteristic is for our attackers or attacking midfielders not a supposedly defensive one as European teams have a way of punishing those type of players |

i repeat ...English born & bred players are flops outside England.... not just Flops but big time error and Mistakes...ask those who bought them.
i asked a question and you a struggling to provide me names. Would you struggle to provide me names of Brazilians, Argentines, Spanish, Germans, Italians, French, Africans, or other Eastern Europeans who succeeded outside their countries?
If english football, style, tactics and orientation was that great ...shouldnt their export be dominating world football anywhere they go?
Will you have to scratch your head, think hard, or use google inorder to give me names of English export who succeeded outside England?
Baba i can never take English football serios.
Sometimes when i read komekn and forgiveness go on and on about how we should populate the SE with English groomed players [who majorly havent achieved anything in their careers].. i simply shake my head and chuckle
its like these ones are young men who started watching football yesterday.... everyday championship this, championship that ...
