justcallmenuel:35 pieces of 555w panels? 😱😱😱😱😱 Choi. Why you using it on only 1 cc of 120a? 120a means the highest it'll use to charge the two batteries is about 6.5kwh. With 35 of those panels, at peak you could produce 19kwh. What happens to the rest not used? You should've got 2 mppts and you will have enough juice to pump into both batteries. |
Jefferyzz:Jbd is worse. It's SOC drifts almost every time even with proper charging. JK is far better bms. |
otis54:Not Nigeria... Residential and roaming is suspended in the entire West African countries. Coincidentally only these countries still use v2 starlink. Rest of Africa is given v3 starlink when they order. They even have starlink mini and another lower residential plan. Make the conclusion you wish, but I think they about to change west Africa to v3 too if not why block entire west Africa using v2? |
I thought both Nigerians and aliens must have NIN? I know an Irish guy who has NIN. You can't say they didn't see his white body before giving him an ID if its only for Nigerians. |
fuckingAyaya:The way you guys mention the devil in everything it seems you are more scared of the devil than the God you claim to worship. You think he doesn't have work than to go but people during their sleep. A sensible person will hear this story and begin to ask questions to verify and eliminate all possible natural causes of the event or to even know if the narrated story is true. But you Nigerian Christians will not bother about verification and immediately say it's the devil or village people. You should change your name to devilians instead of Christians, cause I doubt it's Christ you all follow, instead it's the devil who you see in everything and give him power to do anything. Naturally and physiologically speaking, dreams (if story is true) is only a reflection of what is happening with you and around you. If you have wet dream, it's not your dream that caused it, instead your body is releasing and your mind creates a mental drama in your head (dream) to tell you what's happening. If an electric insect burns your hand while sleeping, your body notices the pain and could give you a mental drama in the head to narrate what's happening. Then you wake up and blame the devil. Learn how to investigate by asking questions |
Notice how they didn't include division of Niger state which is the biggest state in Nigeria that takes you 2 days to navigate the length. The person that did the list must be from Niger state same as Babangida who made his state the biggest |
odimbannamdi:We already know who. No need to mention 😁😁 |
Your starlink router only has 2 parts: - Power board - Mother board. The power board only powers the router and the dish. But you see that small tiny mother board? That's the main router. Everything you program on your router is stored there. If you remove the mother board and add it to another starlink router power board, it'll have same name and id number and all as if you still using same router, all because everything you see in the app is stored in that small mother board. To open a starlink router is another hell too. The gum these people used to hold the glass ehn, if dem use am gum you and your wife una no go ever fit divorce.

confluence:How do you assure that the person you give your password can't get the password from his phone and use in other devices? (though I know you'll see the extra unknown devices from your management). Anyone that has your password can get it from his device easily. Except you are whitelisting |
Compliant:Since you have a 24v inverter, your battery has to be 24v too. Most brands stop their 24v at around 5kwh. But with DIY assemblers in here they can do 10kwh or more for you with 24v. If those panels produce 2400wh then you'll need 100a charge controller to get full juice out of your panels. Lower ones will bottleneck and limit what your panels produce into the lithium battery |
QuoteJust1nce:Do you just share WiFi password to them and limit the speed on your 3rd party router? Do you whitelist? |
confluence:Isn't this wickedness and you are proud of it sef. Why will you make someone pay high and you restrict their speed to 2mbps? That can't even give a HD video experience. I'm also sharing my starlink with people and they pay as little as 3k monthly and they can harvest whatever speed they can get. It doesn't stop me from enjoying my starlink as I still always get a download speed of 150mbps or more myself. |
Haykay2001:As you said, we don't know what BMS they use. So we can't be sure if it'll correct itself. But there's no harm in trying what was suggested. |
Haykay2001:I don't know what BMS you are using, but I've a battery at home that uses a Bluetooth BMS (not the JK everyone is using now but the one from another brand they were using before). Charging to a point that I know it's actually full, the BMS still reads 65%. So I entered the BMS settings from my phone, and changed the 100% voltage mark by just a little (eg 4.5v to 4.55v) and it adjusted back to 100%. Some BMS drift away in the SOC they show you, but it does not affect the ahs capacity reading used or voltage reading. Once you hit that low voltage mark, the battery will cut off even if your BMS is mistakenly reading 50% instead of 20 or 10%. The above was the trick I used sha. If not, invest in buying a Coulomb meter that you'll connect to your battery. I heard those don't fail in their SOC calculations. I recently got one from China that connects to my WiFi sef and I see my battery state of charge from anywhere in the world.

Dam5reey1:You are just contradicting yourself. If you are admitting that it's normal for cells to have different voltages below 3v, then there's no need in saying people ask you to cut low power at 3v to HIDE FLAWS. You are suggesting that these people are selling batteries with flaws and that's why they ask you to cut at 3v, even though you know that's not the case. You really want to teach people things or give your opinions. That's really cool. But don't do it with languages or expressions that bring people down. You've sounded that way in many of your comments. |
Dam5reey1:You are still trying so hard to bring down some good trusted hustlers for no reason. All we do here is DIY. The battery pack you have, you didn't manufacture the battery. You got the cells, same way others in DIY got theirs, assemble and sell. I don't know what point you trying to make by saying trusted people here tell people to not charge above 3.45v to hide flaws.... Are they the manufacturers of the cells? As one who assembles grade A LFPs, you'll simply follow the instructions of the manufacturers in charging their batteries. You won't invent your own charge/discharge protocols. Don't talk down on good and trusted people's hustle. BTW, I repeat what I said many months back, 98% of LFP manufacturers in the world recommend charging their batteries to 3.45v-3.55v. It doesn't mean they are hiding any flaws and doesn't mean they can't charge safely to 3.65v (just that they see it as not necessary since anything above 3.40v in LFP is just waste of charge due to LFP charge curve). Only one who doesn't understand LFP charge curve and longevity protection can say such thing. You are experienced in LFP and these shouldn't be coming out from you. You assembled your batteries, BRAVO ! Let others do theirs too and stop making yourself look good and others bad when you and all of us here no be battery manufacturers. |
Compliant:Added to what everyone has said, your pic indicates the CC has considered your batteries as full, so that's why you are seeing only about 200w coming in from the panels which is basically what you are using in the house at the moment of the pic. There's no problem with that. Just try to follow the advice of getting a better battery like lithium so that you can comfortably charge with 1400wh seeing you are using a small 60a CC. You'll never get the full power of your panels too except you change to 100a cc. Even if you do, only lithium batteries can chest that high charge current and not tubular batteries |
stuffs2002:You already know which ministers I'm talking about if you are in Abuja. You know no one will include El Rufai the builder and destroyer. He did his work. After him to Wike, it was like there were no ministers. I stay near the ministers at life camp, which was only way I knew they existed |
brightk:Dam5reey1 no fit call Mr. Valtz name though I know na him him wan discredit. He knows he's the most trusted LFP guy in this forum. Nobody can assemble best quality LFP like him since his batteries are even better than big brands over years. |
I'll be super happy if that road is done. It's road to my house and I pass it everyday when in Abuja. Wike is really working. So many roads being done in Abuja and they don't start to abandon but rather they make sure they are completed. E no go better for all the northerners who were minister of Abuja over the years. They were all wastage and did nothing but eat money for decades. |
It means every Nigerian is owing 715k naira to other countries. Pls, Tinubu should provide account I want to pay mine |
So I finally got the Junctek KMF device to monitor my battery away from home. Arrived Nigeria, I installed it yesterday and it's working flawlessly. It's connected to my house WiFi and I can be in Zimbabwe and know what's happening at home to my battery solar setup. A feature I wish it had is a log to show me how much I've generated or consumed in a day or week or month or year. Nice product.

toluxa1:There was a warning that Nigerians can't get residential or roaming plan temporarily. It's cleared now. People can order. But Lagos, Abuja, Benin etc are still full capacity and can't get residential plan |
QuoteJust1nce:Oh, I see, you guys are in Lagos or Abuja that can't use residential so you'll be increased to 167k of roaming. Eyaaa! When many of you leave, I'm sure spaces will start opening up in those areas and the residential restrictions there will clear. People will get faster Internet too. |
yemkoguru:Pls can you sell your kit to me? I'll be interested |
yemkoguru:Wait... You'll leave after your next sub? |
