That is exactly what I do too, just that sometimes,you spend the whole saturday wt the mech guy. They have a way of delaying your work,roaming aimlessly looking for 10 spanner so you can go,then they will lose something new in your car,replace it with their old one,then ask you to bring money. Then,they will refix that your old one as the newly bought one. Just like your experience wt your mechanic,na their trademark oooo.

Whenever I go to the mechanic,I don't leave the vehicle there,in fact, I call them the guy ahead like some 2 - 3days ahead to book an appointment .

Generally, these handwork guys, most of them are liars,be it a tailor,bricklayers,mechanic,plumbers, carpenter,electrician,painter,panel beater,rewire,generator repairer etc. If you are dealing with them,you need to be very smart,forget some of them that claim to be pastors ooo, all na story. By the time they finish with you,your pocket will not be the same again...

How many times will they remove oil subsidy in this country?


I hope they mean the opposite of what I am thinking! That is reduction in fuel prices,so fuel can now be like N30 per litre,against this high price of N97 per litres. I even want the price to fall more,say N10 per litres,every night,we keep enriching few people by buying expensive fuel to power Gen,no light,Nepa has fixed monthly charges,whether u use it or not. Then,we pay taxes,no good sch,hospital,roads,no water,no security for the masses. Na wa oooo

The last experience is still very fresh in my mind, the removal of oil subsidy resulting to the increase in fuel price from N65 to N105,then after much protests which resulted to the death of many innocent Nigerians,GEJ reduce the price to N97 which people were compelled to be buying till date. Kerosene is even worst,it is sold for btw N150 to N220 per litres. Even the fuel in parts of Nigeria,it is sold for like N130 per litres upwards,oil producing country indeed. Many non oil producing countries have more and better oil distribution and supply than us.Dec is here,very soon,there will be queues in the filling stations...

It is very rare but possible as some of them roam the streets of Lagos,Abuja etc joblessly,but here are some reasons for this,believing that the person have finished serving NYSC:
1.Home trouble. This one is self explanatory,as the name implies.
2.Curse, as in if the person is from a very wicked polygamous family.Maybe the senior wife whose children didn't go to university has taken the person name to one baba or one iya somewhere.
3.Bewitched statement of result/ certificate.if doesn't matter whether you believe it or not,we are in Africa,these things happen.In fact, next MFM PMCH in Dec is specifically for this topic. Treat as important,if you are a graduate but has not been able to use your result to get a good job. Try to attend the PMCH for your own good.
4.Other external factorNigerian factors) This includes tribalism, favorism,nepotism,etc. That time you will be hearing things like' abeg make persin hear word,na imm be d ist to get 1st class,s/he is not d ist and cannot be d last. We don dey see ist class e don tey,liv dat tin,we go give d work to the other guy wt pass afterall graduate na graduate. The ist class sef,who know whether na buy em buy am.etc. And the person saying all these may just b another pass graduate b4 he did his PGD and masters and become an oga in the Human Resources dept.
5. Fear of over qualify :Some people feels that a ist class graduate is overqualified to be employed. They rather employ 2:1 or most likely 2:2. With some yrs of experience .Ok,how many adverts have u seen that only ist class degree holders should apply?
6. Fear of underperformance: Some employers feel that being a ist class holder in school is very different from doing the job proper. They feel ist class student will make a better lecturer in the academic and not a worker in a corporate environment,as the work is all not based on theories or craming taught in school but also changes in the work place,environment and other forces in the business world.
7. Inferiority Complex and Fear of control: some employers also fear that since they themselves didn't have ist class,they will be somwhow feeling inferior to ist class holder .
8. Inability to convince the interviewers:
Being a ist class holder doesn't mean that the fellow cannot fail an interview. I don't mean the test,the fellow can score 100 over 100 in the tests,but the interviews and chats,pre chats are a different ball game entirely.
9.Lack of proper dressing: in some job roles,they way you dress,smile,personal disposition,look confident during the interview session will a long way to make or mar your job hunt successful or not. Some people do not know how to dress,especially in a very sensitive position where you will be the company brand ambassador to the world. Then you wear one old black shoe and brown belt,guy u don yab... They no dey teach this one for uni oooo.
10. Not doing proper research about the company that you are seeking job from. As a ist class holder,you are seen as a 'star' so it is expected that you know the company very well,know its close competitors,know their respective SWOT,do your home work well. Then you may go online to get more information.
Gone are the days that ist class gives you an automatic employment letter,brand new car,house and other juicy packages,atleast not in naija any more. You must wake up to the reality of the day and fight for your place.

They can be more reasons too.

However,in a nutshell,whatever is the issue,prayerfully,it will be overcome.

God will take control. Nothing is beyond God.

Topics like sex,hell fire,sin,salvation,incest etc are carefully avoided. All they preach is tithe,offering,blessings,riches etc.Highly unethical. Pls go to MFM branch nearest to you for deliverance. Do not play wt ur destiny. This could be a foundational problem,meaning the incest runs in the family,just like madness,stealing,divorces,late marriages,poverty etc run in some families. If u like doubt it @ ur own risk. Na oyo go b ur name. Bewarned,life is full of miseries. Do not bring curse upon urself. Nobody want to talk about Incest in most churches, they believe that such message will drive members away.

Why will u love a man and not okay wt his denomination? Sheee na garment church him dey go? Last time I checked,love is unconditional.

They should complete the second Naija bridge first... They keep awarding contracts whenever an old govt is about to go, nobody monitors anything. Later, cash will change accounts, change hands and even some contacts will be abandoned. Another govt come and award the contract again, call journalists to cover it, share money to them to write good articles about them, even some press people are part of our problem in Nigeria, by celebrating failed peoples as achievers, do we need all these hasty elephant projects? Overpriced projects, over 70% of that amount will likely end up in individuals personal accounts, and guess what? The project will be abandoned like many before it, nobody get jailed, nobody is held responsible, the contractors will go to church for thanksgiving, saying that God has answered their prayers and buy a brand new car or Jeep for 'Man of God' and the MOG will pray for the Contractor that he will continue to prosper,( by stealing from the Nigeria govt by trick , that is getting money from incomplete projects).What is the difference between such a contractor and a yahoo plus fellow, na wao ...

If you are going to the east by road, the hold up between Onitsha and Delta state is hell. The 2nd Niger bridge is long overdue. How many times have they awarded 2nd Niger bridge now?
The river Niger bridge is very old, weak and overworked, do they not notice that the bridge is seriously vibrating mostly during festive periods with about 4 to 5 lanes on the bridge carrying mostly heavy duty trailer and other big trucks?

Well, just invest your income and live a simple low profile lifestyle, all these star stuff, buying expensive cars, living in big rented houses and wearing big label expensive clothes will only run down your fortunes financially FAST.Learn .Yes learn from other people (so called stars in the in the past ) to make adjustments in your own life.I see some of our so called stars in the 90s today, nothing to write home about, nothing. The money spent on that ride say 7m or more could easily get you a land around some parts of Ajah, or even on the mainland, even if it to buy an old house, demolish it and erect something modern on the land. Then, that is the real investment, not a ride that becomes devalued immediately you leave the car dealer shop or fix your plate number, over 25% of the value is gone.
