They probably don't make enough money to feed themselves properly never mind sending money home to buy this or that in preparation for December, it is their handlers that make the money. The ones that know people at the Indian High commission to get them Visa's. It is time the federal government did something about those handlers. |

Quality moderation helps to keep up quality posts

For example no reasonable dont want the masses staying long in their house especially tours and vagabonds It also helps with the advertising revenue and that is also a good thing. |

I agree totally with all you said. Having said that, it will be interesting to know why people still need to reinforce their "igboness" in the manner that Ned has had to. The civil war is long gone and the generation that had to do that to survive are in the 80's, for those still alive. You never hear an Ekiti man or even Egun's or Okun's doing the same about their "Yorubaness" or at least doing so publicly. I know there might be an element of politicking involved in the flag Ned is flying, as alluded to by previous posters, but it is strange that there is a disconnect with Igbo speakers on the Western side of the River Niger from those on the Eastern side. |

Per your last paragraph, the simple truth is that Obidients happened and we are now seeing the consequences of their appalling social media behaviour. Its a win win for Ghana as they make money from the whole ordeal and get to deport the ones already in Ghana alongside the ones Trump is sending their way.
They will then claim all those they are deporting where the ones Trump sent their way
They will make at least $2,000 per deportee and that's excluding airport taxes and fueling sales they will generate for each aircraft that lands in their airport. Also, Trump will look favourably towards the Ghanaian regime in terms of aid or ignoring corrupt practices. Same as they did for animals like Mobutu all that time. |

Certainly Benin or it's people's are not ordinary at all. Whereas my polite response to tackle their idiocy is banned by the "bot". Go figure.
I label GRV "untalented mediocrity" and was banned. Yet they will call Tinubu drug lord, Escobar and all manners of despicable things yet get away with it.
What sort of "bot" is that? Clearly a human and partisan one selecting who to ban and who to indulge.
It is Seun I blame for his naivete and lack of pragmatic intellect. Check the ethnicity of the composition of MODs and you'd understand.
I don't have time for frivolities but I also know, factually and proven beyond doubt, those who live and breathe bigotry to understand that their predictable discriminatory and prejudiced behaviour will be a problem whenever they are placed in position of control/power over other Nigerians.
They will abuse such powers to favour their own and punish others. Nigerian history 100% validates this. Per why I am routinely banned by the "bot", you are right, I respond to Obidients who look for my trouble, next thing you know, boom! Like I said, it gives me a break from here so I won't complain. Per the composition of the moderating team, I can see why he wants to balance it as he is mindful of any allegations of bias affecting his advertising revenue stream, which is fair enough. Left to me personally, I am banning Obidients left, right and centre immediately they step out of line, they bring zilch positive to the table and a lot of tribalistic toxicity. All this tolerance stuff is just handing the asylum over to the inmates for them to rule. A shame really. |

Konquest: @aswani
I hope you're doing OK?
I saw your post late yesterday but had a limited time to reply all my mentions. Indeed, I appreciate your positive thoughts and insights here.
The moniker I castigated in that post used a Benin-Edo name (which could have been a fake name created for trolling like these bigots have been doing to spread disinformation and to divert attention from the real ethnic origins of the trolls). Benin-Edos don't relentlessly derail threads by spewing hate towards Yoruba folks and others on this discussion forum or other online platforms unless when "genuinely provoked" by territorial expansionists or secessionists and those casting aspersions on the Oba of Benin and we know who they are.
Regardless, a manual crackdown through bans by these mods on those well-known trolls is needed to curb these infractions. I keep seeing the NL thread posts of those who regularly use "hate speech and disinformation" being pushed to the NL front page and this ONLY encourages these monikers to continue their bad habits through selective application of punishments by some mods here. There is very little the so-called NL bot can do if strict manual monitoring of toxic posts isn't done.
Cheers. All ok sir as I hope you are too? It feels as if there is a concerted effort lately by Ndigbo Obidients to use Benin related monikers to start making false claims particularly about owning Lagos. Benin posters, that I interact with on Benin related threads like the Edo gubernatorial elections one, on both (or all) sides of the political divide, tend never to involve themselves in such banality. It is interesting to note that the ones dwelling on this "Benin owns Lagos" mantra tend not to appear in Benin related threads. Thankfully it appears Yoruba posters are seeing through it all because responses (thankfully) have not included insults and abuses of Benin people as used to unfortunately happen in situations like this. I don't understand how any of this improves the discourse on here and is allowed to stand by mods. |

Only way to force Seun to remove bigoted, hateful and intolerant mods abusing their power here. I posted something around 10pm, at around 7am the next day, I was banned and the message stated that the Bot had banned me. The very minute the ban expired, my ban was extended another 30 minutes by the bot over another post that was done again around 10:15pm the evening before. Do the bots sleep as well that they wait till the next morning do scan messages and then stack bans one after the other?
