The point is we hardly have traditional religion. If we give Trad. Religion an impetus, we can achieve a stage of Golden Civilization as happened to the Religions of the GReeks, Egyptians and Hinduism. Those are Advanced Paganism. Even Ifa-Orisha wouldve reached that level (IT has infact almost), if its growth were not stemmed by changing factors.

Pagan religions grow when given the right conditions. we do not go by a set book. With advancement in Pagan Sciences, comes advancement in arts, culture, etc. .

Not for the spiritual element but for the "cultural" element. This we should embrace here in Nig. No spiritual religions, just cultural religions to admire our heritage and practical thinking, reasoning and ruling. ANyways we could switch to passive Paganism like in India, Japan, etc. Even the same applies to my personal life. Im not too much into religion. Religion is just a function of my life like eating, sleeping, watching movies, etc. Most of us Pagans are SPiritual. We are not overtly religious.

Maybe we only need a majority. But I agree that it wont be easy and will most likely come about slowly if at all. So how will a traditional religion be any better than what we have now?

Not a regime but for people to become atheist. If people dont believe in the spiritual element of religion there is little reason for them to go for "magical or spiritual" solutions like human ritual sacrifice.

I once spoke to an educated young lad who from the internet had come across the story of a russia drilling crew, drilling all the way to hell. The lad believed it. I had to really make serious efforts to convince the lad otherwise. This sort of lad would not be able to objectively question and challenge any conspiracy theory brought about to incite.

Yes but what if his circumstances change. Not all people maintain wealth throughout their life. I can name a few.

So if he got arrested for some unfortunate situation, had his assetts frozen pending investigation for 2 years and then eventually when it all cleared up his businesses had crashed and his personal fortune slowly eroded. What would you do? He would be working hard to save the little he has and would have to bring austerity meansures in the household to save things. How would you cope?

China has MILLIONS of immigrants in the USA, Canada and Australia. They even have a part of New York city called Chinatown, filled with 2 million Chinese minimum. All this despite China lending money to the US and becoming an economic superpower. So Nigeria is not unique. Big developing nations will always have many of their people migrating to foreign lands. Nations that were colonised by Britain have the majority of their immigrants heading to Britain. The US got independence from Britain over 300 years ago and cannot be compared to Nigeria or India that got freed a mere 50 years ago. Those nations are still suffering the effects of colonialism and you cannot claim that 50 years is enough for the effects of 3 or 400 years of colonial brutalization and economic brigandage to be eliminated.

Who is talking about migration. I am talking about making our country better. Most of these countries you refer to are doing much better than we are.

There are Nigerians in every country... not just the UK. Even in South Africa we have a lot.
