Family / Re: I Feel so Angry With My Husband. Help! by Atlantian: 7:43am On Apr 04, 2016
Everyone has turned to marriage counsellors even the very single men that cant afford to 'maintain' girlfriends believe they can advise the OP.

Op, the answer to the problem is very visible in your own thread. Your husband is presently unable to renew his office rent few months into the marriage. It means there is financial problem there. For an early marriage to have financial crisis that threatens their very own source of livelihood is enough to make a concerned and worried man go bunkers.

The ONLY solution to your marriage is cash money, money to pay the office rent, and if you are living in rented apartment, he is alsp worried about that too. And if you are using generators in this Buhari lightless country, the fact that he cant afford rent and is managing to fuel exhorbitant black market generators is enough to make a man to have erectile dysfunction too. It is not just your husband, many families are also in crisis, your own small sef.

Take it easy, you dont have to use manipulations here, because he is not a bad husband as you clearly stated, but he is under enormous after-wedding pressure which hits most people like thunderbolts. If that man receives alert of 20million, he will become more romantic than Alejandro of Telemundo grin grin grin

Good point.
One man's 'high end' is another man 'low price'
You have just answered the question. One man's high point is another person's low point. I have flagships of both apple and Samsung instead of joining the bandwagon of those fighting about which is best, I always buy both, by the grace of the cosmic energy, the price for these phones are not high end for me. So, I believe the deciding factor is your pocket. Buy what your pocket can carry. This world has different brands, from standard, to premium, to deluxe and then to exclusive brands. In my world, I go for exclusive brands, it is not a waste, it is just who I am. It is not just about the phone, its about your personality, your image, your class is tied to stuff you own. while others sleep on mouka form, others sleep on tempur mattress. Poverty is a choice, so is wealth.

Permit me to end this post with this quote: "A lion can never eat grass no matter the condition of the jungle."

Agriculture / Re: Lagos Acquires 2,134 Hectares Of Land In Other States To Boost Agriculture.. by Atlantian: 9:16am On Apr 03, 2016

Lagos monopolizing 'business sense' since 1601!

No wonder Lagos' GDP is bigger than any 10 states in Nigeria combined, or bigger than Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Niger combined!

'Lasgidi', the hustle is real!

It is not by cutting 'kpomo' at the nearest public square.

One would think that with this cacophony you own a plot of land in Lagos, but no, from experience most yorubas who shout "Lagos! Lagos!!" are youth from outskirts of ogbomosho and okokomaiko who are intoxicated by their success in exiting the bushes of Sango's forests in the farthest SW states to rent a kpako in madogo with the hope that someday, they can forget their past. I love the hope that the streets provide. But why not just travel to other part of Nigeria outside the SW, it will really deflated your ego to see that other places are so paradisiacal and well-planned as opposed to the clusters in Lagos.

It depends first of all on the tenancy agreement you signed with her. How many months eviction notice was written. And did you state a tenant is liable to repair or replace whatever is spoilt. Just tell her you can no longer tolerate her since she has breached that part of the agreement and you are willing to refund but you must give her at least a month because she needs time to find another place.

I am a landlady too and I understand what you might be going through
I am willing to give her more than a month, but I am planning to restrict her access to certain facilities. My aim is to serve her Termination of Tenancy notice, then I move the bed and mattress from the apartment and create natural discomforts that i provide to tenants, with the hope that she will move.

Stay for good Six month eventhough her money has expired and I told her that the six month she talking about she will pay for it.now l realise I ve
made mistake i should have serve her a quit notice six month bfor her time expired .and while I did not bother to issue quit notice was that she told me she have see a house that she is leaving and now she is telling me to give her six month again.am just so confused with leaving in the house with her.since she moved in last year it has been war ,and she so violence, for sometime she has never pay her utilities since she moved in and any time I ask her she will just pick a bottle to hit me .I just need on how to get this girl out with immediatete effect, not because I want to put another tennant in d house but just to avoid problem with her.

Yours is worst than mine then, she knows the law, I have actually studied the Tenancy law of Lagos state and the landlord are not protected against these kinds of tenants.
Properties / Evicting A Bad Tenant by Atlantian: 8:38am On Apr 02, 2016
Here is the thing. I have a tenant that her rent hasnt expired yet, and I want to evict her. And I need ideas on how to go about it.

The reasons are:
She doesnt clean the premises, I pre-installed AC in the apartment, which has damaged and has refused to repair, door locks damaged and she refused to repair and the glass door shattered. She doesnt contribute to buy petrol or diesel, and doesnt pay electricity bills and uses them for free. Uses general kitchen without cleaning things up and leaves smelling food in the freezer in the general kitchen without cleaning. I feel she is disrespectful to the property provisions and doesnt appreciate acts of charity.

Please note that i have called her attention to these complaints many times and it seems she is naturally lazy and careless.

How do I go about it without breaching the Lagos state laws that has no protection over landlords ?

No one is saying APC or the tyrant caused the worst economy in Nigeria history. We are simply saying that the illiterate in Aso Rock and his gang of inexperienced cabinet are not equipped with adequate knowledge to arrest the situation and to add salt to injury the dullard put a property lawyer in charge of electricity and housing and nominate him, an inexperienced soldier and cattle rearer as Minister of Petroleum. The Minister of Economics doesn't know simple arithmetic. That is what Nigerians are saying. Diversifying the economy we have been shouting. But the slowpoke flies here and there leaving us all at the mercy of venture capitalists.

I am not lonely, I think you have to experience it to know it. So in essence you are experienced in loneliness and insanity to make that claim. Now I know I have been chatting with a complete mad man. Enough!

How does an insane man recognize another insane man? Just joking, mental disorder is not always visible, for instance depression is one of the worst forms of mental disorder butit is hard to notice because sufferers pretend everything is ok and suffer in silence.

I would not agree with that, especially when I know that 99% of people in my village are sane. But when it comes to Lagos, I could be wrong 3 out of every 5 persons have a degree of mental disorder.

Even when Oshiomole's ashewoe wife met Buhari she did bow to the boko king?

So why are you frogs defending this crap?

Why do you call Oshomole's wife Ashewo. She is respectfully married. That's below the belt.

From all indications and going by what this Senator just revealed to us, Saraki is already in PDP and here is a man who rode to power through APC's back....tell me what type of human does that if not a useless, desperate good for nothing politician. I think any PDP man can be the Senate President besides Saraki....that's OK, since the APC stalwarts in the Senate are already used to that.
Think before you type. Amaechi moved to APC while holding PDP mandate. 6 PDP governors and sitting senators moved too. Now you are sounding like a broken record cos Sarai hasn't moved yet and I do not know why he is still in a failed APC till now

In other words to hell with States without oil. Your federal system is based on the conjecture that all States must at least a natural resource. The States without natural resources, will naturally falter and sink into poverty merely because God refused to bury oil under their feet.

Now if the States refuse to pay the federal govt, what will happen? War?

Military budgets can take up to 40 percent of a country's GDP. Military equipment isn't cheap.

FAAN is still a federal body, similarly seaports and rail will have to be administered by the federal govt since they are issues concerning the entire country.

So the federal govt will still be large and will need a large budget to maintain itself.

You should simply ask me questions without resorting to conclusions based on your assumption. There will be no internal wars to fight, no Boko Haram, no Biafra agitators and no Militants once they people are directly in ownership of their resources.

2. The States will explore resources they have, be it farm land, or Timber, be it cocoa, groundnut, even States like Anambra can become manufacturing hub. There is no single State without great resources even Borno State. But if there is any States that are ready to merge, then their houses of Assembly should discuss and meet with NASS to ratify the laws to effect their emergence.

3. 40% is very much great for a Federal Government if utlized without corrution. We are talking about 40% from all the States and 100% the Fed will keep from resources from littoral waters etc plus an enhanced and focused tax regime
Politics / Re: US To Press Nigeria To Devalue Naira - Reuters by Atlantian: 7:23pm On Mar 29, 2016
Kay17:

When you say States should exploit their natural resources what do you really mean? Does that mean direct investment?

Who will pay for the army navy and air force?

Who will manage inter state commerce?

What about air travel sea and rail regulations?

Who will pay for that?

1. From Crude Oil, to Gas within States boundaries will be owned by States, mined by States and 40% tax paid to Federal Government. Then Federal Government owns oil and gas deposits outside the littoral zones of the states to 200 nautical miles into the ocean. And keep the proceeds 100%. Same thing with solid minerals. States should sign MoU on FDI with which ever investor they want.

2. Proceeds from the above, and taxes is enough to run any navy, airforce, Federal Police, education etc.

3. Interstate commerce will be managed by the Commissioners of Business And Commerce within the catchment states with supervision from the Minister of Commerce and Industry at Abuja.

4. Air Travel will be regulated by the FAAN and each State can decide to investment intra and international routes, same for Sea Travel, managed my Ministry of Transport.

5. States pay for every obligation from the Federal Government, so each State functions basically as independent unit supervised by Abuja.

The competition will naturally make each State Government follow working prototypes of any turnkey system developed by a better state.

State is where mistakes are made and corrected and certain paradigm modules from states are implemented at Federal level if it was successful in the State.
