Good |
Nice. What is the cost of the soybean to Lagos? |
Nice thread |
omenka:It is good to live long to see people like you who refused to listen previously come to their senses. It is quite unfortunate that you have still not realised your mistake in supporting Buhari to come to power. When you realise that you were sold a dummy, fooled by the sw controlled media into believing that Buhari had something to offer to the nation then and only then will you not be disappointed in Buhari. Buhari has been very honest in his words and actions. He told you that he will split the populace into 5% and 97% and he did that faithfully in his appointments and projects. He told you that a fight against boko haram is a fight against the north, he has since declared boko haram technically defeated and left them to do what they like. He belong to the group that says Nigeria is their estate and you wonder why he should be bothered about stealing from Nigeria. Guy wake up. Do not misplace your patriotism next time. Lots of you that supported Buhari were very patriotic unfortunately you were too naive to understand Nigerian politics, religion, nepotism and tribalism and your patriotism was used in fooling you into supporting the wrong candidate. |
Import restrictions alone will not yield the desired results, there must be direct stimulation of maize production to ensure that there is adequate local supply to offset the shortfall in imports. People should also look at alternatives to maize. Cassava flour mixed with defatted soya bean can be made to replace maize in many food and feed applications. |
Real farmers know that real problems come with farming. Diseases, herdsmen damage, thieves who harvest your plantain at night and terrible weather all combine to make rubbish of your investment. Then you have the brokers, some want to sell you rubbish farm inputs, others want to buy your produce for peanuts |
shekauvsbuhari:It can slow it down and force people to reflect on the cause of the lockdown. It might reduce the infection rate to manageable numbers while we wait for the development of a vaccine |
globalblogtips:I have all the 5 qualities you have quoted, but what will I gain from being your husband? What do you have to offer? Don't tell me sex |
Jspecial5:Thank god you said the truth. Your bf likes it, is not you that likes it, why not focus on what you like a little more? Personally, I don't like it. |
Jspecial5:The people of old had these rules to protect themselves from the health problems that result from doing otherwise. And as such created local remedies in forms of taboos. As examples consider the following. Mouth action leads to herpes infections of the mouth? Local remedy: put mouth action as a taboo. Mouth action does not lead to pregnancy in marriage: local solution, put mouth action as a taboo among married couples. Incest leads to deformed offsprings, local remedy: put marriage and sex between close relatives on the taboo list. Communicable diseases spread like wide fire in the community: local solution, banish anyone with communicable diseases out of the community. Those who died from infectious diseases spreads the disease around the community during the burial rights: local solution, do not bury those who died of communicable diseases, throw them away into the evil forest. Even without great medical knowledge men learnt to live healthy for thousands of years by following the community rules. But op, why do you want to engage in mouth action instead of the natural way ? If you present with symptoms of oral herpes don't complain when they ostracize you |
ZINIBANKS:Might be virgin birth. So technically could still be a virgin, welcome to new Jerusalem |
Ilamina:I think the whole country is blessed, just that the people from the old Bendel state are just hard working. They can not hide under religion or being part of a major tribe to get appointments or contracts or other undue advantages. |
BadRadio:None of the above until proven by medical checks |
ijustdey:Ado Sanusi a Fulani man is now the CEO of Aero Contractors. They seem to have succeeded in stealing the airline from the Ibru family. Sanusi as CBN governor went after Oceanic bank which was a key support of the Ibru empire and now a Sanusi is the CEO of Aero Contractors, a one time key part of the Ibru chain of businesses. This just reek of conflict of interest. Using CBN to steal people's investment. |
ExAngel007:Waste of information, he should have kept it quiet and gone on a state visit to Kogi state to see Yahaya Bello. That guy needs to be convinced that there is coro in the land. He should have also gone to hug our darling president, coughing into his face while at it. |
Laroyalznaijapr:The question is do you have the gps coordinates of your properties that I can see on Google maps? Someone telling me to go on a physical site visit in 2020 is so old school |
Nitric:Nice to note that you are looking at some prospects. Fixed deposit look like loss to me when inflation is factored in. What is the interest rate one can get for fixed deposit? Deduct inflation and what will be left. Well it serves as a means of cash preservation until one can find a safe and secured investment for his funds. I was just looking at your requirements and wondering if you can get a mutually beneficial deal if you are so risk averse as implied in your posts. Rewards correlate with risks, while negotiating your reward, be nice to the guys putting up with more of the risks. Such understanding makes for better long term relationships. I am setting up a vegetable oil production business now. It is still at the construction phase, so production and cost history like you will require are none existent. We have some fancy feasibility report, previous industrial experience and some appetite for risks. If it goes well we should be able to get between 10 to 20% of the working capital per production batch. That should give us up to 30% ROI based on working capital per month. Vegetable oil is a fast moving consumer goods, so demand for it is healthy. Now the problem is this, at the current construction stage the risks are still high, there are raw materials supply risks, production risks and sales risks although in different proportions. If we are able to surmount all the risks and get a successful business running and shunning out at least 30% return on working capital monthly why should I come to you for money and share part of my profit with you? You will not have much leverage to negotiate for a good ROI for your capital if you wait until my business is successful and proven before you agree to come on board. I am just using this as an example. I don't think that you should be disproportionately risk averse, if you are so risk averse then be fair by accepting low ROI from those you later agree to fund so that they don't feel used or taken advantage of. |
The virus is killing people all over the world and supposedly educated nigerians are against any measure to control it. Continue doubting the existence of the virus, the result is coming Today, there has been a total of about 10 million cases and half a million deaths globally from the disease yet some people are still doubting. Check the statistics through the link https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ |
How did this get to front page so fast? |
Nice |
Are you a man or woman? |
If you have 10 minutes to fell a tree, spend 9 minutes sharpening your axe. You planted 4 to 5 seeds per hole, clap for yourself. Now go and thin it down to a maximum of 2 per stand. Just ensure that the farm is weed free. It is difficult to even advice you with the information you gave. What spacing did you use What is the size of the farm What fertiliser did you apply? Why do you think the farm will be a failure like last year Can you post pictures of the farm? |
HsLBroker:We don't have a name for it in my dialect it is called shell plant which gives the indication that it is a recently introduced plant. More native plants have local names. We use it as a first aid to stop bleeding It is also added to the herb mixture used for treating malaria. One thing about the plant is that it has less diseases or vectors in the Niger Delta region and moderately invasive. Will be nice to know why it can repel fungi infections easily in the high humidity of the Niger Delta. |
sherifato:Go to the police station and lodge a complaint. Get the police to track her phone to the last known destination. go to the location of the phone and search for the missing lady and ask around that location. |
8 weeks pregnancy can be terminated. After 12 weeks it becomes more complicated. Since it is rape of a teenager, I will abort it if I were to be in her shoes. |
Raulboy:Why not sit back and think of what you really want at the end of the day? What do you like doing as a child and as a teenager? Is there a way you can convert those things you liked doing into something that generates some money? Job is a means of getting money, apart from job you can also get money from running a business, so if you can turn your passion into a business then that might be a start. Just start from somewhere and change your business if your passion change in the future. Note that you can not think straight if you are unable to meet your immediate needs of food, shelter and clothing so try to always have a means of satisfying those first. |
