I started teaching here. And then, I guess consultants dont like it. I was hacked but I noticed it was after we saved one farmer here who is into cassava and plantain. The reference to that issue is on this thread. Then, I did not like how one super mod handled a case cos the accused was not given fair play too. And suddenly, I was hacked. What pained me was that i had not many financial beneficial contacts via NL. 99.9999% was help me. Be my mentor. Bla bal bla. And I was still polite, even till date when answering such emails. So, I do not really care if these contacts are the ones affected. But terrible things were done to the ones I had had before joining NL and the ones I got outside it. I just deleted my pold moniker and went to battle these issues. I returned after correcting everything.

But there are still few cases left. And one is a fellow who is accussing me till date of many things. Among which are cloned email account. The fellow's hotmail was cloned to gmail...and then several damages done. Then suddently, theft of information and many issue. But this fellow thinks the leak was from me. And many issues around it. One cannot know the extent of damages a piece of information can do until one sees them. I know the fellow is interested in veggie, and I even need the fellow's help at one time for a research which the fellow can do, but since the issue happened, trust has been broken. It sounds simple here but it is complicated. A case which made one of my accounts drained to less than N4,000. NL is a cr.azy place.

I doubted someone who said she was hacked and her info stolen. She is not based in Nig but it may be true. She said to the extent information in facebook, and other social media of her siblings were used and stolen. And they started making 419 calls to her family home. One of her parents is a victim too, they traced that one to the office. And many more stories like that. I asked her if she had gotten in touch wirh NL, she said yes. And then what? No response. Lol.

Well, if you do not believe me, you will defintely see me as a bad person. But you will soon realise who I am.

We have seen so many unstable people leave Nairaland over the years. Some simply vanished when their folly caught up with them. Others are still around, but in limbo because the arguments they pasionately held on to have be shown to be fatally flawed.

Research the following monikers and see the noise they once made on Nairaland on causes they can no longer associate with.

These are monikers that I have had serious arguments with when they were feeding people with half truths and old plain lies. You are not the first I will disagree with on Nairaland however you are the first to use false scam accusation as a defense mechanism. That was very low of you.

As for you pistotita you want relevance to be able to drive your business, you are trying to create a notion that you are knowledgeable and make people come to you for agro business. Unfortunately you refuse to recognize that every field has professionals who are specialists in their field. You simply tried to discredit anyone that can point out your flaws and make people see that you are not all knowing.

You can not watch a 30 minute YouTube video on a subject or read a 5 page Google search report on a subject and hope to defeat professionals in every field outside your field.

after buying them,
cut slice it open and bring out their seeds,

you can either dry them in the open or just pour out their water straight to the soil,

after some days it will start to germinate

Don't do this if you are looking for hybrid.

If it is hybrid tomatoes, you will not be able to tell the quality of the offspring that you will get.

If it is open pollinated variety, then this is ok.

There have been occasions previously where people are accused of fraud on Nairaland, the admins asked for evidence to be provided against such people and asked the people to defend themselves.

But caution is needed. I have assisted many here who contacted me with increasing germination rate. Till date those whom I gave those secrets are grateful. But you never see then publish them here. They also know the dangers in them. I do not talk about microbes because the topic is deadly and dangerous. And workers will be exposed to infections because they are usually careless. I have explained all but they do not want to accept. They want to force me to tell them what is not there. You know how Nigerians are stubborn. War Against Indisciple comes to my mind. Do not cross major road, but use pedestrian crossing...and you see over 99% crossing major road right under pedestrain bridges in Lagos. Lol. The other issue is fraud which I am against. And that has to do with healthserve who has other accounts which are kunleweb and atlanticfire. My brother, it is clear that the same person owns these accounts. And I have shown it again and again that this person is a smart thief. I initially did not know him, but i bursted one of his scam and he decided to launch attacks with healthserve. And he was shocked i could link all his three powerful accounts he has built over time which he is using to sulynchronize shady deals. Is this not what cyber security is about?

Spam bot is meant to catch some things so as to discourage fraud. And honest people might be caught in it. But as time goes on honest people quickly adjust. And scammers are dealt with more. Same thing here. You do not need to ask me to prove that this man had already scammed. Post evidence can be late. But what we need is preventive measures. And I have shown it here that this man has 3 multiple accounts with same pattern of tryimg to defraud NL. See, his plan us to lure people.

Actually, he was the one who attacked me again on my health thread with his atlanticfire moniker... and I addressed him....he came to my agric thread..i blasted him.....and he is fond of the same pattern. I used benchmark cost from Alibaba to show that the cost of the greenhouse is fair and his diminished IQ did not allow him to comprehend that displayed prices on Alibaba are normally lower than the actual sales prices for the items and that I used those price figures because they are publicly available figures that will show the cheapest price possible.

He believes Capex cost for setting up greenhouses should be recovered in one year, not knowing that if businesses plan to recover all Capex cost in one year, hardly will any business be viable. If Dangote is to recover the cost of his refinery in one year of operation, he will not bother to build the refinery.

One thing I know about we Nigerians is that sometimes we're never truly honest when telling others the cost of goods or item we've purchased.. especially when there is high demand for that item.. the greenhouse hydroponics may not be as expensive as he claims it is.. but base on to hype the market and company status .. he just gave outrageous amounts

Economically, the business is viable. Whether they can manage it to yield the right value is what is left to be seen.

He said the greenhouse is two hectares not two acres.

Average greenhouse price is about 10 usd per square metre on Alibaba for plastic lined greenhouses, the price goes up to 20usd per metre if it is polycarbonate covering and up to 40 usd per metre if one chooses glass covering.

Two hectares is 20,000 square metres, so the greenhouse alone will cost between 200,000 usd and 800,000 usd depending on the choice of covering material used. Going by this the greenhouse plus hydroponics cost of 350,000 usd for 2 hectare greenhouse is a fair price.

In terms of revenue, they can easily get 30 ton of tomato per acre and that will give them 75 tons per hectare per crop cycle if they decide to grow determinate tomatoes. There are varieties of tomatoes with potential to produce 100 tons per acre in greenhouse cultivation. The Israelis even have tomato varieties that produce over 200 ton per acre.

Getting 75 tons per hectare and selling at 300,000 naira per ton will give them 22.5 million naira per hectare per crop cycle. From the two hectares they can get 90million naira sales per year if they do 2 crop cycles per year.

If the greenhouse is made from polycarbonate covering and galvanized steel, then they can use the greenhouse for over 20 years. They can depreciate the greenhouse cost over 10 years and only right off 10% of the greenhouse cost per year.

With this they can make profit from year one of the business venture since sales will be 90 million and they only need to write off 10% of the greenhouse cost, which will be 12.6 million naira each year.

The greenhouses between Amsterdam and Rotterdam have been there for many years without the need to change the covering because they are made from polycarbonate, I have been seeing them for over a decade now.

Kogi is a central location. It is within 24 hour drive to almost all parts of Nigeria. So they can send their products to anywhere in Nigeria that they want to sell their products.

The NMC machine is a control system for fertigation operation. It can be configured to control the pumps and fertigation valves and also to keep a record of the fertigation parameters.

I think what they are looking for is someone who knows how to operate the machine and someone who knows the mixing ratio for the different nutrients at the different growth stage of the crop.

They need to split the roles. They should get someone who knows about control or automation system to teach their staff how to operate the machine and get another person to give them nutrient preparation and dilution requirements for the crops they are going to be growing.

Automated fertigation operation is not common in Nigeria so getting someone to fit both roles is not going to be easy.

I can teach them how to operate the machine and how to prepare the fertiliser solutions, but I don't have the time to do that.
