Theflow: I've worked on many projects but this is my most ambitious yet, it's open source and free to download, review and tell me what features you would like to see in the next release.
it's a smart security camera which automatically starts recording when person enters a place and pauses when there is nobody around, this was done so as to make you to see only the details during playback and leave the unnecessary and it also helps to save storage space, you can also tap a key to play an emergency alarm sound incase of emergency. Phoenix also creates a log of who enters a place and the time he did, it can be viewed using excel. I really hope this project gets the attention it deserves because so far nobody seems to care about it , thank you...!

Does it have an inbuilt slot for memory card so it can back up the data locally? What is the video resolution and if what is the frame rate? If these parameters are right then you should be able to market it |

Kennydoc: Bro, I agree with you to a large extent but in all honesty, Buhari is punishing the Igbos.
How are the Yorubas benefitting more than Igbos? Isn't it obvious from all his appointments? At least the Chief of Defence Staff is Yoruba. There are many other Yorubas appointed into sensitive positions like Fowler. Yorubas also occupy the 2nd and 4th most powerful positions in the nation's government.
Talking about major projects, Lagos–Ibadan standard gauge rail line is almost completed.
Yes, I know these are nothing compared to what the North especially the North West has benefitted, but it is still far better than what Igbos are experiencing. The number 2 position was not by appointment. It is an elected position. All government from Obasanjo till date have been working on one form railway between Lagos and Ibadan or between Lagos and Kano. What is the total budget of the federal government in the past 4 years, it is not less than 25 trillion naira. What is the cost of the Lagos Ibadan rail line project. It might not even be up to 1% of the 4 year budget in real terms. So how is spending less than 1% of the budget on a region become a good thing? Ad for appointment, you should know that oppressors don't oppress with some local support. The colonialists used some Nigerians for administrative work. That did not mean that those Nigerians had any power to make any meaningful impact. The few yorubas appointed is only for buhari to get favourable media coverage from the south west and to compensate some people with means to make money. He did not appoint them because he cared one bit about the south west. In the gathering of 16 security chiefs with only one Yoruba among them, the Yoruba security chief will be easily overruled on any issue by the other 15 security chiefs. The man will just be there to mark time and collect his salary. |

Kennydoc: A failure for doing nothing tangible for his constituency in 5 years as a president. The most important road in his state – East-West Road – is still in a mess today and will remain so for a long time because of his stupidity. Otuoke had no pipeborne water after his tenure, yet he was a president. His only achievement for Otuoke was the Federal University.
Look at the South East that risked it all for him such that Buhari is punishing Igbos for 8 years because of Jonathan. What did he achieve for Igbos? Did he build the Second Niger Bridge? How many federal roads did he rehabilitate in the South East? Do you still think he isn't a failure? I don't know how old you are but you seem not to know Nigeria's history. Buhari is not punishing Ibos because of Jonathan, Buhari is just being himself, he strongly believes in using the resources of the south to develop the North. There have been many northern leaders like him previously, just that those were smarter and did the marginalization more quietly. Buhari was the first head of state to head a government where the head of state (Buhari) and the vice (Idiagbon) were both from Northern Nigeria. Buhari's time at PTF saw over 75% of ptf budget being spent in the north and even out the money he spent in the north, over 75% was spent in the northwest that he is from. Buhari has pure nepotism running in his vein. You think he is punishing the Ibos, what has the Yoruba that you say he is not punishing benefitted from Buhari? Has he commissioned any power plant or federal road or built a factory in the south west in the last 4 years? |

nograv: So sad that Nigerians dont understand the first thing about leadership
A leader's primary job is to promote the development of the WHOLE nation based on need. Not to just pour money into his own town, based on personal bias.
Nigerians keep choosing leaders without a national vision. Based on the ignorant comments here, Nigerians choose the leaders they deserve.. Too many ignorant people in Nigeria. They are seeing pure nepotism and hailing it as if it is a good thing |

Kennydoc: I'm only making excuses for him regarding his term as a governor but not as a president. I said he planned to do something in his 2nd tenure (as president) not knowing he wouldn't be there, but I clearly admitted that he was a massive failure and a weak man. A failure for not going the route of nepotism? Nigerians are something else? What is Duara contribution to Nigeria's economy that qualifies it for federal capital projects? Were those projects budgeted for? Duara is not a state capital, so what qualify it above all other towns to merit disproportionate federal projects |
Politics › Re: Suffering Of Benin Amid Border Closure By Goliath, David Begs by Atlanticfire: 4:32pm On Sep 29, 2019 |
Instead of unilaterally closing the border, a move which is against several treaties that Nigeria is party to, the government should find a way to sue the countries for dumping of imported goods in Nigeria.
ECOWAS and AU can be made to force all African countries to ban export of imported goods through land borders with steep fines for offenders. |

pickatyou: I still don't understand why we add French to most of our international and diplomatic document. Its not as if French is an official language or a part of the country speaks french French is Nigeria's second official language. Most people don't know this because English language dominants. But officially, French is one of our official language like English. Parts of Nigeria in the north east were originally French speaking and left Cameroon to join Nigeria in 1961. Part of the southeast also left Nigeria to join Cameroon, those now form the English speaking part of Cameroon. |

Politics › Re: Lagos Assembly Begins Probe Of Ambode Over N45bn Buses by Atlanticfire: 12:20am On Aug 28, 2019 |
Ambode had a vision of modernising the archaic transport system in Lagos but the powers that be did not allow him.
Lagos in the 21st century still depends of old rickety damfo buses with bad drivers to transport millions of people daily.
Those damfo buses are nothing but scraps in other parts of the world. They are not even in production anymore, yet that is what a city like Lagos depends on for its transport.
The agberos managing the transport buses in Lagos rake in billions of untaxed naira monthly and for this they are used as political tools by a few politicians to ensure that nothing changes in the transport system in Lagos.
If only they had allowed Ambode to put thousands of modern buses on the road then it would have been a good improvement in Lagos and brought some sanity to the crazy transport situation in Lagos. |
