Mine was lonely ohh, after growing up in a very big family with all the gist and noise, i was terribly lonely. I did not waste time ohh, I started lookin for a job three weeks after my wedding becos I had to relocate and got one two months into the marriage.

Guy, u need a little self esteem, dont let anyone fool you, short guys get the tall and pretty girls. Look beyond yr height and search in u what u are comfortable wit and portray that image. A lady becomes your friend first, gets to know u, before asking her out, by then, she would have seen who u are on the inside and would b totally blind to your physical appearance, just have the courage to be friends with them and every other thing would fall in place.

Op, I actually took only my phone to church today, the woman next to me was just doing somehow, when d pastor now came up to give his sermon, he too brought out his phone and started reading, the woman just taya, she just dey look me dey look pastor like say we just rose from the pit of hell.

Using the bible app on my phone makes it easy for me to read the bible anywhere even while tryin to solve issues with people and I dont no what to do. But when in church, there are some verses I wish I had brought my paper bible so I can underline them and refer to them later, writing it on a notepad sometimes is just not enough.

We know all these, we just tend to ignore them sometimes.

Its just higher now becos the ladies have decided not to take the shit they see their mothers going thru, not that these problems havent always existed. Coupled with the ratio of working women now, being financially independent has its own leverage on making getting a divorce quiet easy knowing fully well u can cater for yrself and kids.

For your information, its more likely to get worse, so resolving it is out of the question. What we would be seeing now is a system of divorcees having set rules of both parties spending time wit d kids so they can both play their parts in bringing them up.

Op, try to find out if there is any thing irritating her and get it out of the house, hide it or stop using it. Since her mum has already told u about her, I dont think there is any cause for worry, some people are like that.

I would also advice u that after the 9mths elapses, ensure you are wit her in the labour room to hold her hand or rub her back, I tell u, your life would never remain the same after this experience.

The most painful thing about d other sites I visited was the fact that I couldnt quote a comment and disagree or agree wit the person, the tin pain me so te I dey nack my own body becos of another person uselessness.

Please can someone suggest a site where I can quote, the headlines (eg. Fp) change every 5 mins and one can create topics at will? Incase of incaseity.

But this can actually work to seun's advan as more people are now aware of this site as a result of the pandomonium on twitter and facebook about nairaland being down.

The way I see it, your dreams adjust to every situation u find yourself. For example, when I was still growing up all I wanted to do was help all those hungry orphans I see on tv thru workin wit or for d UN. But as I grew older it dawned on me that working for d UN was a dream I didnt even know how to pursue. So I settled for helping the needy and poor around me, my dream changed to JOB's, being the eyes to d blind and the legs to the lame and putting smiles on d face of widows. Am not any where near where I want to be but still taking baby steps. So I believe dreams can be modified to suit yr situation if you really want it wit all your heart.
