There's a great difference between the two statements.
Been in a relationship may be for reasons other than love, care, trust and building a future together. It may not entail sacrifices, appreciation, investing, fidelity, loyalty. It may just be for d sexual gains, material things, fame or even revenge.
But being in love entails so much. You can give all you have for the person, you care for them so much, you can keep late nights just to help them get something they'll need on the internet or tru oda means. You trust them so much, you just want them to be happy. You want a future with them, you only influence them positively cos u want the best for them. Even if sex isn't involved, you don't feel bad, you're ready to wait till when they are ready. You're not afraid to tell them the truth when they are wrong. You feel comfortable with them. You are just you with them. You want to see them always. You love them forever. That's being in love.
