jansonn:Jansonn...please with all due respect, why are your people always the victim. can't you guys defend urselfs or always be on the attack like the killers. in the next 3 months another incidence will happen and your ppl will b d victims again, it doesn't make sense. you guys can outdo this ppl in what they think they are good at, but if u guys prefer the pity party kindly tell your ppl to migrate and free up the lands and whatever for the killers to avoid wastage of lives. |
...in this era of propaganda one has to be discerning even if this incident took place for real; a lot of things are fishy about the pictures, looking a lot like a movie scene/set. why is that baby on blue top and short so clean and neatly bandaged; he looks very much like a happily asleep baby with a bandaged boil. He doesn't look and inch like a baby hacked to death viciously. My opinion though, l might be wrong too. Talking about violence, no one has the monopoly; if u reside in a region prone to such vicious attacks what stops everyone their from learning how to defend and kill back if need be. One of the characteristics of living organisms ( humans inclusive) is adaptability. You adapt to survive. You learn to be more bloodthirsty and vicious if your neighbours are given to such. Else u will go extinct |
seunlayi:Thanks for bringing this correction up. lts very unwholesome and most unprofessional to give half facts, distort info to suit a particular purpose whether knowingly or unknowingly. The original poster should be apologising by now; cos his take didn't add that the date was just tentative and still very subject to government approval. Its a common trend nowadays to distort and dish out half facts...true journalism goes dead; propagandists, distortionists, social media influencers are on the rise. there really should be a purge. Social media should be controlled |
PureGoldh:Even history-wise within europe, the Germans have been a braver and more daring lot. l am still shocked with the French move of abruptly ending the season, l pray the adversely affected clubs wins in court and they will win if there be fairness. A Farmers League indeed: never before has the name been so apt, given the action of the French government. l was wondering wat the panic was all about when the clubs, players, stadia will be furnish with 100% of the best technology and health safety has to offer before and after games. Come to think of it France wasn't even half adversely affected as Italy; football has gone beyond being just a game. lt honestly won't be out of place to use warfare as an appropriate analogy; shots are still being fired all over active battlefields worldover. Shekau is even still being chased and the pandemic is counting against him while favoring the Chasers. I wonder why Armies and guerillas havent ended their fights because of Covid19. Football has become a Culture, Religion, Movement, a Pacifying and Unifying Catalyst etc. lt puts food on the table, keeps people happy and hope alive a lot more than Religion and Politics. |
PrecioussB:Don't be too sure or too loud over what you are not knowledgeable about... There are actually things like dried fruits...Mango can be sliced up dried, properly packaged and sold...and talking about Older men going after very young females...if yo u personally have a thing against it...it's your wish/choice...there are girls more younger, prettier, wealthier and more intelligent that you who crave older men a lot...instances are copious in the Arab/Predominantly Islamic cultures...Celine Dion, Bianca Onoh etc all had men old enough to almost be their grandpa and lived happily ever after...You have your way, l have my way, their isn't really a perfect or absolute way...so you actually have no right to call a man/alhaji that wants an 18yr old with mutual consent/or for marriage, a paedophile... |
Jakemedg:Even Giroud has a world cup medal as an Achievement...even if Mikel has a Balloon D'Or to his name...he is honestly just average...nothing spectacular bout his skills... |
It more than amazes me the way Nigerians overhype Mikel... at the mention of Mikel what often should crop up in ones mind is...a humble, gentlemanly, soft spoken and quiet nice guy...at least its good to see the good in people first...but its very annoying to know that this guy had the same opportunities and wherewithal like Messi...but he ended up or rather chose to kick the ball within the centre of a football field at the same club for about 10years..front, back, left, right...just like that...did he score up to 10goals at Chelsea...l remember a coach being surprised the day he scored a goal at Chelsea...there was no flavor, magic, finesse nor anything worth remembering about Mikels kick and follow football...he fell down more often than KANU to waste time or gain advantage, was often slower than a sloth...same ball possession, distribution and control that people like...jay jay, iniesta, xavi, ngolo Kante, ronaldinho, etc used in giving football fans world over indescribable soccer ecstasy and scoring goals too, more often, while at it.... damnnn Mikel was never worth the hype...he was just a very lucky nice fella |
Yanmiriflathead:A lot of changes, especially BAD changes like this "yanmiriflathead" fellows raw tribalism, hatred, bitterness has happened to nairaland unfortunately over the years and his supporting and opposing fellow tribalists/haters are growing exponentially daily...there was a glory that used to be nairaland 10years ago, strictly educative, informative and a serious place full of courtesy and respect for other ppls views... you will be surprised to find out in real life that yanmiriflathead is a father, a husband, a mallam or pastor sef...if an American needs a cursory look at the day to day happenings in Nigeria and the heartbeat, momentum and direction of its people, he only needs go through nairaland for a week to get a sound conclusion...and the likes of this yanmiriflathead sure gives a true image/sample...what's the most popular forum in SA, Burundi and Ghana...does this same dog eat dog and hatred of a tribalism thing run there also...Do they also post snakes and bushmeat as front-page and news worthy stuff on a daily...do there moderators also serve the forum incoherent,typo-errorful captions and news with crude and badly concocted dictions...is this problem peculiar to just Nigeria or same all over Africa...l doubt if this can be happening in a Ghanian or South African forum...its purely a Nigerian problem |
Even an unserious Nigerian Jss3 student will churn out something more matured, readable and pleasant; grammatically. I don't see any trace of affluence or an american education in what you just spewed. Only the desperate and undiscerning may not notice that it all looks like a sham NB: But if surprisingly you are genuine, guy abi babe, you need a lotta work on your writing..u can see from the few responses u he gotten already; folks down can tell u enough bad stuff that you will keep seeing and thinking about even when you shut ur eyes and your mind. Quit the bragging about family's wealth, etc...it annoys more than it impresses anyone around here...the times are hard, the season is terrible, everyone is looking for any slightest reason to vent their ire on someone |
