eddyme: Hello Good people Please what should i fill in this section.
Have you visited or lived in any one of the designated countries for 6 consecutive months in the last year? Your Answer is YES cause you’re currently living in the designated country and medical is YES for Nigeria (go through the list of countries and territories that was given, Nigeria is in the list), and you’re a foreign national. If you tick No, you would be exempted for medical request and it might affect your application. You can only choose NO only when you’ve been in Canada, the US, or the UK, Australia, New Zealand, for more than 6 months. (some small countries and territories medical is NO but it doesn't mean, they won't go for the medical. It's because there's no recognise IRcC physician in the country or territory. IRCC will figure it out for them on how they can go with the medical. |

JCXpert: House please assist me all Gurus in the house. @Frankrobbn1 have been helpful to me all along. But theres a change of plan. AFTER 3 REFUSALS, I DECIDED TO SUBMIT ONLY LETTER OF JUSTIFICATION. PLEASE REVIEW IF I CAN USE THIS MY JUSTIFICATION LETTER. (Please Comment, Correct and Advise). Thanks. Hi, Take out your time, go through SOP’s or LOE’s, digest it, understand it, compare and contrast with yours. With what I just read, you actually didn't sell yourself, the onus is to sell yourself. You prolly gave out seemingly small or inconsequential information that you ain't sure that might break the camel’s back. But honestly, that is not the point here. Sell yourself and make your letter look like a study permit application point of view. I wouldn't say its too shallow, cause I believe you can do better. Whatever you write, would be used as LOE or SOP only if you're appealing. Bless you. |

NwanyiOkpa: Good morning,
I have a few questions :
1. What conversion rate should I use when converting my tuition to naira?
2. Can the living expense be more than $10,000? because when i calculated mine using the expense form i arrived at about $10,400
Thanks. Use Oanda for conversion... It's the most accepted and reliable. You're on the track so far it's not lesser than 10k |

Good afernoon,
I am drafting my SOP and i have been admitted also to other countries like Germany and USA. Do i need to explain why i did not go to these countries but rather chose Canada?
should i attach my admission letters from these schools to my application? would it help my application? or should i just totally keep the information out of my application?
Thanks. Kindly Follow your last sentence. |

NwanyiOkpa: Thank you. I have something troubling me. Would it be nice using my brother as main sponsor and my dad as co-sponsor? can I have two co-sponsors (dad and sis). There is more money in my brother's account compared to my dad's account.
I have decided to register the business name as you suggested so that I can utilize my 6M statement of account for the process but alternatively, can I just send the 6M to my dad and use him as main sponsor? Feel free to ask me any question. Make sure your brother list out his defendants in his affidavit of support and he should also say the amount he pays for their school fees for each of the defendants yearly, that’s if he’s married and has kids. You must be included in his dependents. Your pops should also do the same as a cosponsor and he should write a letter stating he’s the cosponsor and he’s capable of sending you money when the need may be. You can go ahead to register for your business and do the necessary in your application. Your financial strength is good cause it’s from a direct family. And of course you can have 2 co-spnsors |

juddytee: I was meant to resume for spring term and my study visa has been approved. But I got a mail from my school that due to covid-19 it has been postponed to September 2020 and a new letter of acceptance will be issued within three weeks since they are working from home. Okay thanks for the update, probably they won’t be receiving intl students this spring. And I think they said within 3 weeks cause they are being skeptical if covid-19 would end within 3 weeks anything can change before they issue the new letter to you..., All they would do is to adjust the time table. Spring term begins Exactly in 3 weeks. Thanks again for the update. |

NwanyiOkpa: Won't they lookup the time i registered the business? NOOOOOOO. What matter is, youve shown them the legal status of your business and you're able to pay taxes for the business (you don't need to prove with tax receipt or whatsoever, just the CAC certificate is good), if you do have any tax claim (receipt or anything), very very and super better. That's what western world is all about. Let your document speak and not your writing. |

NwanyiOkpa: Good morning,
I am about starting the application process. I will be submitting my brother's savings account with 10M plus. I also have 6M+ in my own personal account from trading crypto but i can't use it since it's not a registered business (or can i?) the amount is not a huge deposit but it grew over time.
We have properties like a newly purchased business (owned by my dad). Would submitting the business registration document and property document serve as a home tie?
I do not have any land of my own although there is a large portion of land that was purchased for all of us(children) and the document bears my mum's name.
What could i use as a home tie? You're in a safe hand cause you're not the main sponsor. Make sure your bro submit Documents of what he does for a living. Go ahead and apply, your bro can say you work for him and your dad can also say you work for the family business. |

NwanyiOkpa: No It is not showing that it's from crypto business, just regular deposits It is not too late to register the company, then your bank transactions (inflow and outflow) would do the talking for you and reference letter from the bank, cause you've been dealing with crypto trading, you might also want to explain your business in your letter. hence what you've been saying is not making sense especially to VOs. (register your company ASAP) don't rush to apply. |

geosolomac: Ina kwana to everyone here...
My question goes thus, I wanna ask if this documents listed here are enuf to proof Home ties.. ....Presently available
1) Approved Survey Plans of two landed properties in different location in Naija
2) Sibling Birth Certificate ( my jnr.sis)-
3 Old Picture , when we were young (like age 10) showing my jnr. Sis, My ,Dad and Me
4) Convocation pix ( Dad, Me & Mum)
5) An old pix ( jnr sis, Dad, mum and me)
6) Me, Dad & jnr sis (2019 pix)
Thanks.. What are you trying to prove here? Why do you want to deliberately vague your application and not well arranged? One family pic is enough Abeg, then you tape a blank paper on top of the photo and list me, dad, mom, and my sister then mention the event on the photo. sibling birth certificate is not important cause there’s room for it in the IMM form. Parent marriage certificate should suffice for it. Your dad or mom should write a letter. Anyways, do as your mind soothe you. |

vibrant99: How are you sure he didn't get a Ban?
This days they don't even let you know you have a ban , be re-applying. I am pretty sure He didn't get banned. Canada will never ban you without clarifying to you in the protection Act. Lemme clear you real quick the ban comes with any of the following reasons in Canadian immigration and refugee law Genuineness of relationship: subsection 12(1) and subsection 4(1) Medical Inadmissibility: subsection 38(1) Misrepresentation: subsection 40(1) Criminal inadmissibility subsection 36(1) and subsection 36(2) Express Entry: wrong NOC, employment letter, insufficient evidence Security Reasons / Terrorism: subsection 34(1) In his case, I didn’t see subsection 40(1) (2) or (3) that talks about inadmissibility for misrepresentation or any of the protection Acts above. Whereas he also didn't get a procedural fairness letter. He should be very proactive HE MUST NOT REAPPLY WITHOUT GCMS NOTE. He also needs a break to examine the authenticity of his previous application before reapplying. All the best. |

phadexzhi01: Good day everyone, I have been following this thread for almost a month now , I really appreciate you all for the contributions, insights and encouragement you have been giving us applicants over the passed few weeks. I have an admission for a graduate certificate course at Algonquin College for winter 2020, which starts on the 6th of January. I paid my first semester fees and applied for a Canadian study permit nov 05, I didn’t get the biometrics instruction letter until the 19th of Nov. since then I haven’t gotten any updates on my dashboard, I haven’t been asked to give medicals. I am really panicking because jan 06 is less than 2weeks away and I don’t know my fate yet. Gurus, I need advice on what to do and I want to know if I still stand a chance of getting an approval and starting school next month. My Agent is suggesting I consider deferring my admission to September 2020. I wouldn’t want this because I have put a lot of effort into achieving Jan. All responses will be appreciated, thank you. You have to defer your admission cause suggesting as your agent said is an understatement. You have no choice but to go for deferment. you didn’t do upfront medical. Don’t expect miracle. |

Frankrobbn1, Obehi44, UrsyBC, justwise, and all other senior colleague, please vet and guide where i am missing out other documents. Hi, I am curious to know about your affidavits of support to your wife and kids. And document to cover what your wife does too. Cause in this particular application, it's not about you ALONE, it's about your FAMILY. Note: don't go and be telling them stories (SOP) of how your family will cope, let your application speak volumes. More so, your brother should send that 3 million to you cause it's an eyebrow to his own family cause of the small amount (3M). ^ Lone sponsor would be good in this application. |

kaze4blues: I made application for visa. The embassy gave me 24hours deadline to provide all the secondary documents.
However, I don't have most of these documents in place. Morealso, they sent me mail today being Sunday. Before I get all the documents, the 24hours would have lapsed by tomorrow morning.
Now the agent handling my application is threatening me that if I don't provide the secondary documents, they will place a visa ban on me.
This is why I am confused.
I want to know whether they can actually place visa ban on me for not providing documents or they will just not proceed with my application.
Your response will be appreciated. Give us the complete bottom line, we will gladly help you in our capacity. What are the documents you submitted, and which of the documents did you authenticated submitted of your own? |
