...so when has it become a crime to be GEJs supporter!as for me and my house hold we support him..@kingoflag,mind you, there are other reasons why some of us supports GEJ other than the two you erroneously stated! He is a democrat to the core, humane, humble, well adjusted and also,he is a listening president!...just thinking,he has a heart for the masses, going by his humble beginning.

...the most silly and idi^otic thread of the year, your hate for Gej is being transfered to CAN.more like transferred aggression,i thought you wld spare some time to criticise the sultan of sokoto, who is the head of all muslims in Nigeria, for doing nothing while his backyard is on fire,i thought boko haram started in his constituency!Oritsejiofor remains the most active and radical CAN president in a very long time!i call him comrade pastor, while other admirers choose to liken him to other troubled period men of God,like Bishop Desmond tutu,Rev.Jessy Jackson etc...as for the Igbos,we shall always stand out from the rest,we must always stand for justice, fairness and the rule of law, until the actualization of the 'zionist state of biafra',so you can go hug the transformer!no matter the political and religiously motivated killing of igbos in the north,in the name of boko haram, you can never suppress our strong will,we shall definatly get there!'the blood of saints waters the trees of freedom'!

I wonder how people are becoming so sentimental that it has taken over their sense of reasoning.that one sahara reporters known for their notoriety in disseminating false news, has suddenly become the darling of nairalanders!Even the news stated clearly that the target is on the 'affluent middle class'.The price of gasoline has skyrocketed all over the world and Nigeria cannt be an exception!if more money is generated by this noble means and corruption is brought to its lowest level, then the masses will be better for it.ie more good roads, improved electricity supply, more jobs created for our youths, more foriegn investors, easier accessibility to quality education, health care, much needed investment in our refineries etc this will impart positively to better our deploring seccurity situatn!we do nt need any strike or loss of reasonable working hours by labour and trade unions, the situation will only get better,if we work together towards achieving this onerous task with our visionary president.GEJ has a beautiful heart and by Gods grace he will lead us to achieve our MDGs by 2020,though he will certainly hand over to a successor by 2019!God bless his excellency and they good people of Nigeria!

lacasa: Can i ask you Sir, where ur getting yr facts from??

Αve u been or travelled to the North before??

Wat u r saying is really confusing to me huh if u claim dat the "Northern muslims" r only after oil, then i ask you dis question,. HOW many Northern muslims r entrenched in the oil Rich South/South region?? (And compare yr answer to) ..HOW many Southerners especially Igbos are entrenched in the Northern region??.

If u r sincere with yr answer, then i am sure u can understand who would care-less or who would never Want a division from Nigeria.

2. You comparing nations like lebanon/Iraq/Iran to a Heterogeneous entity like Nigeria undecided

- there is no point broadening up this point cos the main feature of Nigeria having over 25d0tribes n a multi-religio DNA, should dispel any comparism i were to elaborate On.
...you always sound empty and bittered in your arguments, which is the trade mark of most islamic terrorist, their idea of the world and humanity is always cynical!!when we say that the only reason they hausa-fulani northern muslim wants this deformed entity called Nigeria to remain undissolved is because of oil.we dont mean that the hausas are largerly 'entrenched'(in ur own words)in the southern region but all we are saying is that without revenues from the oil region, the north will be one hell of a hungry ridden desert, stop pretending as if you dont know the reason your folks will die to keep this forced marriage going on!see what your true neighbours and brothers in Niger,Chad,Somalia,Sudan and Mali looks like, simply war ravaged, sick and hungry,i classify you all as victims of darkness, where nothing good ever comes out of...BTW information coming in shows that many Yorubas and few Hausas, coupled with igbos were all victims of the Kano bus heading to Lagos but they igbos see it as an affront cos they own the Luxury transport business and a deliberate act to spite on them!who ever is rejoicing over this tragic event shld pause and think, you may just be the next victim.

redsun: Catholism is the agent of imperialism and the brain washing of the down trodden. Set up by the imperial Rome when they realised the futility of blood letting and pillaging does not kill the people's spirit intoto. They found out it is a more subtle and lasting way of conquering the natives without undue violence and you happens to be one of the victims, even in the 21st century.
i wld rather be a 'victim of catholism',than held in the shackles of darkness and grave moral decadence(sodomy)built on western hypnoticism and lost of all norms and values of human existence and even as it is also against all African traditional beliefs.
Politics › Re: Relocate Now, Lagos Advises Residents Of Low-lying Areas by AustineE1: 8:19am On Mar 12, 2013
Tony Spike: I am not an expert on these issues, but I fail to see how Eko-Atlantic will put more pressure, on low-lying areas. Flooding is said to occur when the rate of precipitation from the atmosphere is greater that the rate of water run-off on the ground. This essentially means the rate of water draining is slower than its production. Hence, low-lying areas, which are natural drainage paths, suffer most from this problem. Most importantly, the natural water cycle is independent of land reclamation (e.g. Eko Atlantic) for coastal, but dependent on prevalent global climatic cycle and its side-effect.
Could you give us a link to the environmental impact assessment you spoke about up there? It would be nice to educate us all.
you are right in your explanation of why flood occurs but you failed to tell us that when the holding power of body of water(in this case the atlantic ocean)is overwhelmed either by excessive rainfall, there is normally an outflow of water to the dryland(basically low lying areas) and here is how Eko atlantic city project impacts on this negatively, the reclamation of land has reduced the holding capacity of water by the atlantic ocean along the lagos plain,so the ocean fills quickly beyond capacity and the first victim of this adverse effect will be the low lying areas...dont forget that the city walls of Eko atlantic city serves as a barrier and protection against surge and then the large sea waves will only move down-wards to the low lying area.
Politics › Re: Relocate Now, Lagos Advises Residents Of Low-lying Areas by AustineE1:
..when some of us criticised the Eko atlantic city project as impacting negatively against those commoners living in low land areas,we were called all sort of names!yes flooding is a natural disaster which can occur mostly in coastal regions but can also be precipitated by human activities! The environmental impact studies of Eko atlantic project shows that the reclamation of land for the project and the building of city walls around it,will definately add undue pressure on the lower areas!...now that the chicken has come home to roast, where are the '40 Eko oni baje laptop group'!am only pained for the ignorant poor masses who may be victims of this Fashola facilitated calamities!NEMA shld quickly assist in precautionary ways to alleviate the suffering which may be encountered!and Fashola as usual, will only help the suffering masses on the pages of newspapers!

redsun: Catholic church days are numbered,it relevance these days only remains among the very ignorant, the third wordleans. Soon they will decipher the logic and free them selves from the bondage of dogmas that organized religion is all about. Then they stop suffering and smiling.
you are so quick to comment on any topic that has to do with christianity and morality, your case is so pathetic, you ve lost it entirely, you ve no sense of morality and i guess you are one of those who ve long sold their conscience,if at all you ever had one.You stigmatize christians and call them all sort of names,is either you advocate for homosexualism(sodomy),abortion, atheism and all forms of moral decadency and always relating it to intellectual advancement on the strength of free-will!People like you ve invented all kinds of wickedness against the catholic church because of its insistence on sticking with the truth and the true biblical standard!God promised peter in the bible during the foundation of the church, that 'the gate of hell, shall never prevail over the church'!whatever battle you and your cohorts raise against the church, will be in futility,as Gods words supersedes every other power and authority! though i always have this feelings that you are so piteous and i pray that they good lord comes to you,at your point of needs,so that you can testify to his name!
Politics › Re: Jonathan's Amnesty Denial For Boko Haram Is Illogical- ACN by AustineE1: 8:23pm On Mar 11, 2013
mikeansy: I think ACN can start by listing Boko-Harram's demands and tell Nigerians which of the known Boko Harram demands they wish to concede to. That is what responsible opposition parties do!!!!

ACN should tell Nigerians which of the following demands by Boko Harram they are will to concede to:

1. Suspension of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
2. Practicing Full Blown Sharia in all parts of Nigeria
3. Rejection of Western Education / Civilization
4. Prevention of Girls from going to School

Which of these demands are ACN willing to accept? that should form the basis of any dialogue on amnesty.
...i had wanted to write about the foolishness of the so-called opposition party called ACN and how they ve grown from stupidity to megascopic idiocy, but after reading your post,i realised that you ve said it all and you are right on point!!!the opposition party's unneccessary and senseless criticism is even attracting sympathy for the ruling party(PDP) and many Nigerians are now developing special attachment for the PDP.

Politics › Re: North Shops For Vice-Presidential Candidate by AustineE1: 12:16pm On Mar 10, 2013
Come 2015,except something extra ordinary happens,PDP will definatly win the presidential election and APC will only serve as the biggest opposition party in the country, winning governorship, senatorial, house of rep and state assemblies in some states!..in north, christains and muslims view each other with suspicion, the last thing any christain, animist or atheist from the north will do,is to vote for a northern muslim, thanks to boko haram,Hausa-fulani cattle men and pockets of religious riots! It is practically impossible for a northern muslim to get two-third majority vote required to be a president in Nigeria...they have sown the seed of discord and hatred and they are gradually reaping it!Disaffection and pronounced bitterness can be seen all over the various ethnic groups and religions in the north!...and they say'never again shall we allow wicked bloody and deceptic politicians rein over our land',those who only remember the slogan'one north',during elections!
