Don't be a coward.
Type everything you are thinking.
Hundreds of family have lost their members to Boko haram fighters due to lack of equipment.
I am yet to see any of you "sympathetic souls" called for the suspension of the fight so that investigations can be done.

How about NEPA personnels die in the line of duty?
Did you also call for the Discos to shut down
or you only imagine if it was your family member whenever
you will not be affected by rash emotional and rash positions.
Your analogy is way off. The company was seal up because of the hazardous working environment in line with the policy of the regulatory agency not because of the man who died. That's just to determine what the company need to put in place to prevent the future reoccurrence. How is that fit into soldiers or power company staff?

That way you'd be sure they won't go back to terrorism if that is truly your fear.

Chad president nor his spokesperson(s) won't speak like this. Very insensitive to the families of those who have lost loved ones. Well, their dull Boss has really made a mess of most of their brains.

And people still wonder why the military cannot destroy boko haram.
FrLukas:
"Repentant" Boko Haram terrorists.
So what happens to the crimes they've committed?
The children, the little girls they strapped bombs to?
The little girls they abducted, raped and impregnated?
What happens to Leah Sharibu now that we are rehabilitating terrorists?
How about innocent people they bombed and killed?
What of the soldiers who died in action just so that these men could be apprehended?
If Boko Haram terrorists can repent and be set free immediately, then all the prisoners in the country must be set free and allowed to go after undergoing a month program.
In case you aren't aware, Buhari and his handlers are totally mad.

Foiled? May God be praised. You can't align with Wike without borrowing some courage and audacity. Obaseki has proven he is a man with balls and APC game plan falling like a pack of cards. Hard core APC even know dat under an egalitarian environment there is no way Ize Iyamu with all d collateral damage done on him by Oshiomole can win d election but are only banking on Federal might
With this development and other that we have seen, Obaseki is just grasping at the straw

Sebi Oshiomole claimed that Obaseki has loosed the election already, why are they so afraid of the governor to the extent of looking for ways to remove him?
Who is afraid now going by what we see here? Lol

This is by far better than what PDP guys left behind, I mean the mess they created with PID of a thing. At least we know that we collected something from China that necessitates taking over our assets. What did we get from PDP's deal with PID which made courts gave favourable judgements to PID to target and confiscate our assets? Or the 470 million dollars loan to install CCTV cameras in both Lagos and Abuja?

Sealing the factory is an OVERREACH and excessive reaction of shortsighted, myopic decision makers.
They should think deeply for better sanctions that does not impact production unduly.
RIP to the young man.
It is nice knowing there are young men in honest hustles like him.
May his death not be in vain.
I get it, he wasn't your brother. And none of your family member is working there. Is there anything more important than your life? A life was lost and they're still trying to determine details of what was wrong with the workplace environment but you want to operation to continue like nothing happened! Well, life has no value in Nigeria anyway.

“But despite that, we are able to put up a preliminary investigation and it was based on the preliminary investigation that we ordered the sealing up of the factory.”

“And this order is in conformity with section 38 of the Nigeria Factory Act. It has been identified as a dangerous workplace
and the record said we should seal it up,” he said.
Do you understand what dangerous workplace means? A young man died the most horrible death anyone could ever imagine! Imagine yourself being chopped up bit by bit by a machine!

franciskaine:
very wrong move.
Really!

How will the tens or hundred of workers in the factory cope and survive this Pandemic without pay?
Until another one of them becomes a victim too?

It's Akin to throwing both the baby and the bath water away. Adequate compensation, fine on the company for failing to ensure workers safety and safe working environment as well as measures to prevent future occurrences.
If they haven't identified all the lapses in the safety policy of the company, how would they ensure the safety of the remaining workers? Sealing up the company is temporary and that's the standard procedure anywhere in the world. I don't know why we always think that the approach in Nigeria should be below the standard.

This to me is the best thing to do.
Worst thing to do was to allow the production to continue. Everyone working in that company will survive the temporary closure, they have got just one live, it doesn't worth it

You're definitely suffering from amnesia. Google is your friend, it will tell you the number of protesters that were murdered during that protests. I remember one boy who shot in the stomach by a senior police officer in Lagos, the boy died.
I also remember how Jonathan deployed MILITARY, not even police officers to permanently block the venues after the protesters took a day off to freshen up.
Anytime you guys portray Jonathan as some kind of Saint, I just shake my head. Not be the same Jonathan who unleashed MILITARY on media houses nationwide?

It's called 'protective instinct', and it's as a result of the secretion of the 'love hormone.'
It's the instinct in animals and humans that drives the older to protect the younger and leaders to protect their citizens.

The same protective instinct that is now extinct in the shiithole and the reserve is at work.
The animals turned leaders meant to protect their citizens are the ones killing them with terrorists.

you can't smell the truth even if you wore it as a nose mask!

Politicians and political parties worldwide spend billions for publicity on the press to print and broadcast lies, exaggerations and smear campaigns....damn!

When you think people should even know the basics.
Smear campaigns my left nyansh

1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki

2. I didn't give order - Jonathan

3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu

4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George

5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa

6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.

7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi

8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.

9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda

10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki

11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.

12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.

13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.

But I believe, it is the right thing to do.
If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.
