KnowAll: Ibadan City in Nigeria use to be the cheapest place to buy for food in Nigeria, a few years ago (roughly about 2 years ago) I visited a buka in Ibadan City, and one poor man entered the buka and asked the mama for 2 wraps of EBA no meat, I was really interested and inquisitive as to know how much it would cost the gentleman.
To my surprise the 2 wraps of Eba was N10.00 each, obviously the guy did not eat any meat so he paid only N20.00. The smallest meat in that buka was N100.00 so I can understand the poor chaps plight by not eating meat.
If that price is anything to go by, those wraps of Eba would be N20.00 per wrap going by today’s inflationary rate that is still a far cry from the N250.00 quoted by the poster? In restaurants not buka |

ASOROCK b: On Tunny, do you think that if Nigeria divides the killing and bombing will still be bombarding. Hell no! If that is your notion. Dividing Nigeria=ceding peace a chance. Think and tell me if that wont end the killings and backwardness of the force union. Waiting, At least one puzzle has been solved when divided, all countries can face their collective problems without blaming and fighting the other. Andre Uweh: The U.K has not yet divided. Scotland is not gone yet. Dividing Nigeria will not solve our collective problem. I prefer a one unified Nigeria with improved understanding. If understanding is not reached in the last 50 years, what made you to think there will be understanding in the future? Hope? Well, we can keep hoping for the next 1000 years to come if we stay like this. |

Prof kenny: ahn ahn, why would you just jump into conclusion that those guys are Christians? After, patiently and carefully watching the clip,I discovered those guys are Muslims indeed following the teachings of the Prophet. For confirmation listen to the 2:49 minute and you will hear them greeting each other ''A-salaam Aleikum''. Now,do Christians greet each other in that way? msheeeeeew You use "them" as if all of them are saying assalam alaikum, in fact his accent or tune of saying that greeting is clearly non-muslim or someone who knew not what he was saying. By the way, Muslims when rejoicing will normally say God is Great in Arabic (Allahu Akbar). |

That is why I put a question mark after Christians. They may be and they may not. |

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2012/01/20121199386700637.htmlIt is rather annoying and painful the way things are being run in this country! I know it sounds rather awkward with bombings all over the North, but honestly, like I always say, and will repeat so, Nigeria needs to be divided. The way, and fastest way to curb Boko Haram is to politically deceive them at some point, by accepting all their demands, yes ALL! Even give them some positions in government (advisers or whatever), spoil them with some money, put them in one airplane, bomb them all. Remember John Garang of Sudan? Immediately after that, First BIAFRA be let free, them go decide with their SS brothers, nothing concern the rest of the country with them. Secondly Referendum be hold to decide whether South West, and Northern Nigeria remain one or go separate ways. |

ismhab: Gov. Rabiu kwankwaso was a member of boko haram, he was the one that supplied them with weapons, when he was minister of defence. Any evidence?? This is not an ANPP vs PDP or Shekarau vs Kwankwaso issue, so shut your mouth off! |

Actionleap: Nigerians, the handwriting on the wall is glaring for all to see. The northerners have been planning this fr a long time forget those solidarity visits to churches. It is to make you Southerners sitting-ducks when the bombs start going off. The same Kabir Umar a.k.a. Kabiru Sokoto is one of the master-mind of today's bombing along with that silly commissioner of Police - Biu. They released him to finalize the plan for today's bombings and JEG is drooling sending troops to the street of Lagos against armless protesters. Better put it like this; we have the good, the bad, the ugly! the good are trying to bring people together and maintain peace between different religions the bad are those benefiting from the mayhem happening in the north while they can stop it the ugly are those that blindly attack and kill innocent unarmed people because of their selfish interests |
