North East + North West = Arewa Republic North Central (Middle Belt) = Nigeria? South West = Odua South East = Biafra Nigeria is an imaginary nation, until we wake up from the slumber, we will then realize that the country is really not one, we are left with a system which is not working and will never work, each ethnic group want to be the alpha and the omega of the country which is not possible. The country was actually not designed to last forever, the sooner you wake up from the dream the sooner you understand the true setup and re-structure or dis-integrate the country in order for each group to move its own people forward. Nigeria is the only African country presently that is still struggling with power. Have you ever wondered how many non-employed graduates we have in Arewa? Imagine if Arewa is an independent country, and as Sardauna always say "northerner first" so in no time, thousands of Arewians will be employed all over the private and public sector of the country. Banks will remain, communication companies will remain, we will still have our dignity, yet we are independent. Wake Up!!! |

Indeed, we have seen how peaceful the northern Christians are, stupid crap. |
Ufeolorun:You are still dreaming! Wake up and see if that dream can be realized. It is a big NEVER! |
You sound scared of Igbos. Competition should be encouraged so we can get the best out of Nigeria. I for one will not mind an Hausa/Fulani man become a councillor in my ward. Provided he has done better than the indigenes. Sardauna's logic is flawed in many ways. The herdsmen who rip farms in Ogbomosho through their cattles can be termed dominators too! As a Nigerian in a foreign country, I have been given a level playing field with citizens of the country, and this can only bring out the best in me and them too. Hausa/Fulani need to stop thinking they can join primary school certificate with citizenship to claim top posts.
At the bold part, you are clearly different from the Igbos we have down here in Nigeria, even if there are those with your own view or belief, I don't think they will reach even 1% of the Igbo population. The above you are saying is the dream we are still doing, you cannot realize your dream without waking up, but Nigerians are still sleeping to even know if that dream can be a reality or is just a fantasy. Because not all dreams can be realized, some of them are even impossible, like the above you are saying. |
The military, the military, the military, the military! There is something in there inside the military. We must get rid of immediately. Sardauna is clearly the first citizen of "AREWA REPUBLIC" I can see deep down in his heart, the honest and true love for the "Northerners" today and tomorrow, Sardauna you are the one! I am perfectly 100% sure, Nigeria would have been since divided if the likes of Sardauna are still in existence. Guys of Nairaland, you see your eyes. I will then tell you why I am even advocating for "AREWA REPUBLIC" even though it is going to be brief. One day, I was in Sabon Gari area of Kano to purchase some books, I saw a group of people standing listening to someone speaking, after getting closer, I heard that person whom I am 100% sure is IGBO saying "We must be giving the right as citizens of this country to contest for election anywhere we want to, whether it is for counselor, chairman, or even governor of Kano!!!" People around him shouted yeaaaaaaaaaa" I couldn't stand there to hear more because I can surely reply, and it might led to hot debates. This is EXACTLY what Sardauna was saying; "IGBOS will try to dominate everything you own, while you can never go to their own land and hold something, not even an inch, especially that they see us (both Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba) as backward, cowards, and animals. Today, Tomorrow, Forever, I will stand for Arewa Republic. |
IBB IS THE MOST USELESS PERSON ON EARTH!! WAWA, MAHAUKACI KAWAI! ALLAH YA TSINE MA, YES NA FADA, ALLAH YA TSINE WA IBB! So, to him, let us even spend 1000 YEARS trying to Unite a country that never really existed! To him, let all people living in Nigeria just DIE, just to keep the useless Unity? IBB is an EVIL that is benefiting from the riches of NIGERIAN SETUP. EVIL, EVIL, EVIL. He doesn't care if Nigerians DIE to keep the useless Unity that will never happen! Let me ask IBB one simple question? Can HE force his daughter to marry someone she never love? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I just wish MASSOB can recruit me to fight for them wallahi, frankly, I can assasinate this EVIL IBB when giving the chance. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! I just wish Boko Haram can declare Arewa Republic now now now. IBB dan banza, wawa, dolo, mahaukaci, mara kishin. I am not use to above words, but I am annoyed!!! |
Another BIG MISTAKE! |
I respect you Ismaila Isah, in fact I need your number to congratulate you for opening your eyes and understanding the real truth of what holds back the development of our people. We want AREWA REPUBLIC now! |
reagand200:Yes, police were dispersing people because of the curfew. So insane as yesterday soldiers were beating anybody they see in the city after 7pm. Plus, they are taking any property they saw, including generators, yes confirmed. Another person and his wife was killed yesterday, a friend's neighbour, they claimed he is Boko Haram and shot him and his wife to death! Also confirmed! |
If Nigeria was free and secure who would want to leave it for a small republic? Think about Nigerian free-style humor, isn't it something else? I guess that's wishful thinking now 'cause water don pass garri. Anyway, I know that if Nigeria divides both Odua and Biafra would be giving the rest of Africa nightmare in sports considering how competitive they are. If Arewa gets her house in order I think she can do well too after all talent has no homeland. But folks on a serious note, I read Boko Haram is about to add hostage-taking to their game plan. If that really takes off then it means this monster has become extraterrestrial dragon that will be gunning for all northern elites first and afterwards southern "Mr One Nigerians." I guess Nigerians have wasted awful time hiding in the sand not realizing the size of this full male Anaconda that is about to devour everything. I say this to idiotic Yorubas, Igbos, and SS leaders that have refused to shed their ego, close ranks and see this serious threat for what it is - when this poo finally hits your front porch pls do us a favor and blame yourself. The money Govt is paying you wont be enough when your loved ones are kidnapped, its not a matter of if but when. Southern politicians should put GEJ through pressure to make a confab happen but if they keep shying away from it then this poo that is about to fly will surely hit their porch.
I wish they start with IBB |

philip0906:Confused, it is a football match between Arewa and Biafra in 2020. Arewa, the host, scored 2 - 0. |
ACM10:Really? I am okay! ![]() |
Arewa secured a place in the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals by beating Biafra 2-0. The result eliminated Biafra with one round of matches remaining while the other Group B teams, Odua and Ghana, retain hopes of progressing. Ibrahim Aminu opened the scoring in the 20th minute and Mustapha Aliyu headed in a magnificent goal in the 82nd to hand victory to the pre-tournament favourites Arewa after convincing performance from their Premier League-based stars. Earlier Ghana twice rallied from defensive errors to draw 2-2 with Odua at the brand new world class stadium in Dutse. The final group matches will be played on Monday, when Ghana play Biafra and Arewa take on Odua. |

Published: 17:01 October 13, 2011 A Kuwaiti prince was on Thursday sentenced to death for the murder of another prince, a Kuwaiti online news portal reported. The Criminal Court found Shaikh Faisal Al Abdullah Al Sabah guilty of the murder of his nephew Shaikh Basil Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and ordered his execution, Al Aan said. According to Kuwaiti media, Shaikh Faisal who works as a captain in the Kuwaiti army had gone in June 2010 to visit Shaikh Basil at the Maseelah palace owned by the late Emir. The two princes were sitting together with other people, when the alleged killer told his nephew that he wanted to speak with him in private. The two princes left the main room and, seconds later, guests heard shots. Upon entering the room, they found Shaikh Basil wounded and promptly took him to Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital where he was declared dead. Medical staff said that the prince had been shot several times at close range, according to reports. The police arrested the alleged killer and started an investigation into the case. Shaikh Basil, 52, is the grandson of Kuwait's 12th Emir, Shaikh Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, who ruled from November 24, 1965 until December 31, 1977, and the eldest son of Shaikh Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and Shaikha Badriya Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah. His father was Kuwait's ambassador to the United States, Canada and Venezuela from 1970 until 1975. He then held the portfolios of social affairs and labour, interior, defence and foreign affairs until 2001 when he gave up political work on health grounds. The Kuwaiti authorities had ruled out any political motives behind the murder as Shaikh Basil did not hold an official position with the government.
