basher: NLNG is not much politicized because vast majority if not all is exported' NNPC own 49% of NLNG Shell holds 25.6% while TOTAL holds 15%, and ENI owns 10.4% of the NLNG. So you can see why NLNG is working. |

mekaboy: YOU WILL BE SHOCKED IF YOU INVESTIGATE THE REAL OWNERS OF THAT REFINERY . NO BE NIGERIAN POLITICIANS AGAIN? IF THEY DON'T HAVE SHARE IN IT, THEY WILL NEVER GIVE OUT LICENSE FOR IMPORT. It is clearly mentioned; 60% Chinese 40% Niger Government It doesn't matter who owns, political climate in Nigeria doesn't allow projects like this to be completed. If not, Nigeria would have been supplying to whole West and Central Africa. |

This is just list of products the OP uses often. What is Tantalizer? Swan water or Eva? Where is Dangote? Where is MTN Nigeria? MUDI Africa? Who is that? You can't mention First Bank before GTBank come on so many things will top Nigerian brands not those things you mentioned. |

Q22:39 Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. Q22:40 [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

Presently, the US is everything to Nigeria, and also Nigeria is 'something' to US all because of the Oil. 1. Oil export accounts to 90% of Nigeria's export earnings 2. US purchase 70% of Nigeria's crude oil 3. Most lucrative Oil and Gas Investments in Nigeria are US owned 4. Nigeria's most valuable foreign currency is the US Dollar Now tell me why the US won't be concerned about Nigeria's future. By the way, I am also advocating for the peaceful division of Nigeria. |

Politics / Re: Three Killed, 30 Vehicles Burnt In Yoruba-hausa Clash by auwal87(m): 10:38am On Jul 06, 2012 |
No wonder it is Punch that carry this baseless story. Even though they kill the rat at the end by quoting an ASP saying it is not ethnic, and people claiming to be Ibese or whatever their name is were the ones involved. One fact you don't know or you need to understand is not everyone that speak Hausa language is a Hausa or Fulani, and not all Hausa speakers are Muslims either. Hausa is not like Yoruba or Igbo language where their speakers are most always the tribe, Hausa has become a lingua franca for millions of people from different ethnic groups and tribes, not every Boko haram is a Hausa or Fulani as you all think it is, in fact the vast majority of their top leaders are non-Hausa, not every Fulani is a heardsman and not every Hausa is a farmer. We are people with different professions and backgrounds, the sentiments and hatred you are continously showing on Hausa and Fulani tribes just kept showing how ignorant and tribalistic you are. Finally, not all Hausa Fulani supports one Nigeria, living with bunches of E D Y O T S like you sitting on a computer writing nonsense about other people you only heard about on TV or newspaper of which hitherto none of the stories are true... Next please. |
Webmasters / Re: Which Kind Of Domain Is .ng.cm? by auwal87(m): 10:04am On Jul 05, 2012 |
Blugreen: If you say so, then no domain with the extension of .ng.cm is existing as well . I just did my research. The .ng.com I said earlier was just a mix-up. Mistakenly took it for .com.ng Yes it isn't an extension, it is a domain registered under the .cm TLD, if you check the who is details of the domain you will see what am talking about. You can check the whois on 101domain.com. Anyway, its a nice short url. |
Webmasters / Re: Which Kind Of Domain Is .ng.cm? by auwal87(m): 10:41pm On Jul 04, 2012 |
Blugreen: It is just an abbreviation for .ng.com which we see every day . Not everyone likes typing much even if you like typing and typing real fast lol, nothing like .ng.com, it is .com.ng, and the .cm is a country top level domain, I just learnt somebody is giving out free sub-domains under the .ng.cm which is a Cameroonian ccTLD. Anyway, it is Nigeria, tomorrow we might have .ng.gh too. 2 Likes |

The Fresh Air saga continues The following may be the causes though: 1. Electricity (everybody knows how poor the power is in the country, and how expensive the fuel has become) 2. Raw materials (cost of the poly-bags might have increase due to oil prices too) 3. Labour (the salary you will pay to Abuja residents can't be the same with other states due to expensive living costs) 4. Fresh Air |

He is Nigerian too, he has every right to contest because the constitution allows him to. If anything but they want to impose some elastic rule to which region presides, then its a great indication that the country is not one and will never going to be one. I am not supporting Jonathan either. I would like people to please take this as PDP affair only and this doesnt mean other parties will not contest. Out out out with PDP please, we are tired. Peace! |

Most of the countries that worries much about population growth usually pays enormous amount of benefits to their citizens, ranging from enemployment benefit, housing, and in most cases free education up to university level, they will try to control the population to tally with their economic growth. But in the case of Nigeria, things like unemployment benefit or any housing program for citizens doesn't exist, people take care of themselves. So in my opinion controlling population growth in the right sense is a complete waste of time and of course money. |

1. Misleading title 2. OP is not writing from Dubai 3. The Mod that put this on front-page is also discriminating because he loves to hear what the OP wrote 4. Nigerians were the first "armed robbers" of dubai, incident happened in 2007 They are more hash on Asians than they are on Africans. In fact, they respect black Africans. 1 Like |

gbokukueba: I have been living in Dubai for about 3 months now and each time i arrive at the Airport am always singled out of the whole travelers for document checks and routine questioning which i have no problem with but just 4 days ago i was at the metro station waiting for a train only to be accosted by some policemen asking if i have the new Emirates ID which came into effect end of last month, i said yes and handed it over to them. They started asking me some stupid questions like where i work what do i do etc, while doing a check on the authenticity of my ID . I kept asking them if there was a problem they said no that they were only doing their job while speaking Arabic and asking when they saw the way i was reacting they now invited me into their office that i should sit down. I told them i was going to call my office that am not comfortable with the way they were delaying me they just kept saying no problem that its just routine and after about 20 mins they said i can leave. Decryptor: All these Joomla, WP and Drupal guys have killed the beauty of this business especially in Lagos. I recide in Abuja and was in Lagos briefly when a cousin brought a friend who urgently needed a website for his business. I billed him an estimate of 120k and he declined. Fastforward two weeks later, and my cousin told me that he contacted someone in Ikeja who designed a site for him for just 10k It's so annoying! Has not really killed the business, but has brought more people into the business. Improvement on skills and becoming innovative or creative is the quest, and this is what should be encouraged, the more creative and skills you have the more you should earn. |
