These are some of the pictures of protesters in Kano
|
Tsiya:That is quite a simple thing. The whole system will be overhauled and only those progressive and capable people will be part of the new leadership. Excluding all politicians under the former structure is possible. This reason alone cannot prevent our people from realizing the sweetness of being independent from this "disappointing union" called Nigeria. I am against it, and will remain against it forever. |
Tsiya:But then comes our fair, if we do not have leaders to choose for our own nation why choose to lead Nigeria? If we don't have leaders in all north, then fine, let us forget about leadership. example a house with 12 children under the care of very bad person, when you remove 6 children from the house and take them to another house you have at least reduced their number even if their new house guarantees nothing better. What we are currently set in is called "suicide" lets not live and lets not allow others live. |
hercules07:This hope guarantees no green future, it might be good now but future is not guaranteed. So planning for the future is the key to development in any country both economically and politically. We can keep hoping for the rest of our lives. |
Believe me, new sets of nation building leaders will emerge because the people will be more patriotic and will try to compete with former states in development. |
their oil is free, they vandalize and steal whatever quantity they want so they need no protest! period! |
The Process towards separating this country involves the withdrawal of any support by the federal government, state police, and finally military deployment in all over the Northern region. Northerners are very use to cheap oil but it doesn't exist on our land so by removing the subsidy we will start getting use to living without oil, next thing is the other controversial request by niger deltans to own 50% of oil revenue. Arewa will surely suffer after separation but on long term, it is far more promising who knows where tomorrow's energy resources lies? It might be anywhere. I really see my people as very un-thankful to God by saying we wont survive without oil. What was sustaining the region before oil was discovered? Population, businesses, trade, technology, agriculture, manufacturing. by taking good care of these we have all our future generations in good shape. but the docility and level of thinking of my people is still that without oil we will perish! this is not true. Please my people wake up and thank God with the resources He blessed us with all over the country. We are decaying under Nigeria, the leaders will finish everything then turn to people. Time is now! |
Students from Kano formed Liberation Square along BUK Road, but are deciding to move the square to Silver Jubilee round about. They planned to stay there until fuel subsidy is returned. so far no clashes with the police. a friend in Kano is updating me. updates coming soon. |
There are reports that restaurants have also sky-rocketed their prices by about 80%. Is this true? How much does it cost a single meal in a restaurant now? Don't you think all this is about reducing Nigeria's population? Cost of fertiliser will also increase and most people not be able to buy, those that buy must increase their prices too. |
And now where are these BH "rival" groups ![]() are they lost in the bushes of Nigeria?? I laugh in chinese |
@ beaf I understand, the issue is, how will it affect their operation? It is the same nigerian military It is the same nigerian police It is the same nigerian sss The picture below explains everything, not only police but even the military
|
A state of emergency is a governmental declaration that may suspend some normal functions of the executive, legislative and judicial powers, alert citizens to change their normal behaviours, or order government agencies to implement emergency preparedness plans. It can also be used as a rationale for suspending rights and freedoms, even if guaranteed under the constitution. Such declarations usually come during a time of natural or man made disaster, during periods of civil unrest, or following a declaration of war or situation of international or internal armed conflict. Justitium is its equivalent in Roman law. |
@ beaf You don't even know what a State of Emergency is, in fact most of those responding to this thread doesn't know what a State of Emergency is. It means more weapons for BH, more time for them to think and create plans, it means more recruit for them. Aghhhh, just don't know to what extent it will reach before you come back to your senses. |
LeoMax:He should be more strategic than this dull decision, to the eyes of Nigerians it is good. What if they buried all their weapons and fled only to return days after the emergency is lifted?? Will start another emergency? Common this isn't a solution at all. |
Beaf:Which state of emergency worked for Iraq or Afghanistan to fight al qaeda? Man in few days you will understand that it is bad idea, bad decision, it will only spoil matters more. these guys are not in caves located in the states that were declared emergency. They are within the community, and the community isn't aware, they will disappear any minute, they might be on their way to another state right now. |
How many times did Osama bin Laden mentioned Nigeria? |
The BH will surely laugh at this. What if all their operations are from Kano or Jigawa or Katsina or even Lagos? It is like telling them to expand to other states, now all the security will be concentrated in those states, and Gbam you can here one bomb tomorrow at Sabon gari Kano. unwise for the current situation. Intelligence is what is needed, common these guys are fighting from hidden places nobody even know where their hideouts or camps are located. They can move all around the country at will, maybe with even police protection. |
This is really getting worst, Damn it! |
manny4life:The guys are wise my friend, they can appear to look like a Pastor if they want, so just more innocent people will be killed, and they will be laughing because the police are helping them achieve what they want to, kill as many people as possible to create chaos. |
frosbel:its the fact that we simply don't have courageous Muslim leader yet to come out and condemn. they are just afraid which shows their in-sincerity in their leadership and they cannot be trusted. |
frosbel:they use Islam, Islam has its own way of fighting enemies which STRICTLY forbids killing women and children and STRICTLY forbids destroying placed of worship. this is the real truth. |
ado ok:another reason they cannot be defeated easily. when 'yar adu crushed them they were not linked with any politician, why now? |
Another reason why i hate Nigeria and Nigerians in general bleep all Moslem
We (muslims) are victims of these terrorizing acts, we are getting double blows my friend. |
frosbel:you are finding this funny? you need to go check your head too!!! |
Another bomb in Jos |
this outrageously insane, anyone involved in this act is insane, no excuse for this, omg what am I seeing here ![]() |
