Well you can only get a reasonable quote when you have all the drawings and necessary information. I only tried to infer the quote based on the work i am doing (a block of 3-bed room four flats). We are already at finishing stages and we have spent well above 20M, and we are yet to do tiling, doors, hand rails, electrical wiring and fittings, plumbing fittings, wardrobes and kitchen cabinets, compound flooring and painting. Our rough estimate for all these i mentioned is over 10m. Though these flats are meant to be luxury flats. So i am not trying to discourage you or asking you to give me 45 M to come and do the job for you but count your cost before you embark on this kind of project. It is good as at this stage as you are trying to enquirer i hope other pros in da house will help out.

Such a project on the may cost above 45M if the soil condition is not going to require raft or pile foundation. In actual fact to be more precise you will need Soil test architectural design, structural design, M&E design and a complete Bill of Quantity.

FYsol: This is painful...How come i never read this post before going to ijaiye today around 3pm. i was stopped there by the local government guys saying i took one way.i must i was really bitter. How can you convert a popular dual road to one way without a very big sign. i really put up a scene but i ended up paying 1k. so painful

Police will take charge in mufty in the morning till abt 9 am and go to another location somewhere in that axis for this same purpose (they called this action raiding, cos it is intentional), the LG agents will take charge from 9am. I got to know abt all these because i spent a lot of time at the station infact they have a record book of the amount made, a book for the returns each department brings on daily basis. Nigeria police is rotten.

i was a victim of this last week in my own case they actually cover the sign with a cloth. I was going to millenium estate as i tried to negotiate the turning i saw one nonentity in mufty standing looking at me while i waited for school children to cross and i thought the guy was an agbero as i drove in he stopped me and brought out a shot gun. In a nutshell i was taken to the police station cos i insited on going to court and pay the fine. I noticed that they have no court to take me to all they wanted was my money after wasting much of my time i parted with 3k so that i can proceed on my daily activities. Please what can we do to curb this menace honestly it is annoying, on that day i felt like setting the station ablaze.

TroGunn: Nothing wrong in seeking better ways of doing things. @kopell raised some good points. Very likely if the wood slap method is used more and people locally develop the expertise, the cost will come down.

In a case where client have phobia for conduit piping, there is a simple solution, though it may cost you a little more but not crazy amount per say! Increase your head room, and run all your pipes directly under the soffit of the slab just as shown in the wooden slab pics post by Trogun, then seal it off with any type of ceiling (POP, PVC, etc.) create a manhole at strategic point to access the ceiling for repairs. Externally you create a duct for all the pipes and seal the ducts off with removable fanciful screens so as not deface or affect the aesthetics of the structure.

We did some minor wrk recently. We tile the roof tank wall and floor to prevent water percolating thru the floor and wall from spoiling the kitchen POP.

@lovetosin the precast method has its limitation in curves, as it can easily break off. The guys i used has some other molds. It all depend on choice.

@handex; tnx 4 ur contribution as a matter of fact the site is not in a catchment area. What actually happen is that the omo oniles sold filling sand from the site b4 selling it out. In the process they ve excavated d entire area close to water table level. But ofcourse i took d levell of d area b4 deciding on my fdn level. We re quite safe.

@bugemont. Every other material is ok; but i av some doubt concerning rfct i think is on high side, but i cant be precisr on wout d structural drg. Also d labours are a bit high u can negotiate down to abt 70 percent of those charges wt d exception of supervision. Meanwhile, it is not advisable that the pillar shld be casted along wt d slabs. They shld be done seperately. Goodluck
