This is like saying instead of praying for the sick, just go and see a doctor. A minister of the gospel should speak faith instead of fear.
Christianity EtcRe: Insecurity: Pastor Adefarasin Advises Church Members To Plan Their Escape Route by aviara: 11:14am On May 10, 2021
Its possible to preach and teach faith and not live by faith. Some don't have any means to travel out of the country, so what do they do? Making plans for your family alone and not considering the poor in your midst is not christianly. Besides, every member of your church is also a part of your family

PoliticsRe: Electronic-Voting: The Best Type Of Election Suitable For Nigeria And Nigerians by aviara: 11:06am On May 06, 2021
Even if electronic and remote voting system is adopted, Nigerian politicians will invent new means to circumvent the system such:
* hack the server
* vandalise communication equipments in certain area densely populated by the opposition
* bribe telecommunication companies to cut off network from areas of opposition advantage

Fear Nigerian politicians
PoliticsRe: Electronic-Voting: The Best Type Of Election Suitable For Nigeria And Nigerians by aviara: 11:02am On May 06, 2021
BVN/ NIN can help for remote credible elections but politicians won't let this work because they usually win by ballot stuffing and snatching

Renomonkey with another rubbish trash. Jona-daft prevented him from traveling out of the country and seized El Rufais's passport at the airport.

Renomonkey still making excuses for the calamity called Jonathan.
That is why we elected the saviour called Buhari under whose watch herdsmen, bandits and kidnappers are doing overtime. May they visit you soon.

Thank you for this intelligent response.

Give the credit and kudos of Buhari's presidency to the yoloba people. Their superior intelligence of choosing Buhari over Goodluck Jonathan has brought us to this beautiful point in our national life. Imagine the effontry with which a common presidential aide like Garba Sheu is talking to an elected Governor in an issue as sensitive as human life.

PoliticsRe: Throwback Post Of Jonathan When He Visited North East Over Insecurity by aviara: 4:10pm On Apr 28, 2021
Seeing these pictures shows a president with conscience and competence. A man called all sort of ungodly names but today he stands tall and respected in the comity of nations far above all the propagandists whose tongues were wagging in the runoff to the 2015 presidential election.

The biggest problem we have are those who won't admit that Jonathan should have been reflected again and again and again.
PoliticsRe: Throwback Post Of Jonathan When He Visited North East Over Insecurity by aviara: 4:00pm On Apr 28, 2021
Yolobas don't like any topic which shows Jonathan as a better option over Buhari. They hate to accept their wrong choice of Buhari presidency but its too obvious to deny that they goofed.

They would rather spread the blame with words like "Jonathan and Buhari are the same".

Yolobas don't like when people apologise to Jonathan and wished they voted for him instead of Buhari. Yolobas feel very embarrassed by Buhari's poor performance in virtually every aspect of our national life but they are too proud to admit their poor choice in 2015 which brought Buhari to power.

Lol you're not fooling anyone. Rather you are proving my point about how you Igbos are malevolently obsessed with Tinubu.

Tinubu this, Tinubu that. You cannot even see the advantages of your State and those of others being free from the encumbrance of the over-powerful FG that will always remain so because of how Nigeria is convened.

You just saw Zamfara keep 100% proceeds of its gold without a kobo, shishi, towards the centre while same does not hold for the mineral wealth of other Nigerian States yet you cannot even see the big picture, as it benefits you and your people.

You must shout Tinubu up and down in a matter that does not concern him and over an idea that is bigger than Lagos States and/or indivuals you hate unobjectively. I pity you sha.
Keep deceiving yourself. You are not as smart as you believe you are. Tinubu owns Lagos, Tinubu has presidential ambition for 2023, Tinubu has a case with EFCC, Lagos sign law for EFCC to handover all Lagos corruption cases to the state.
Even a dullard understand the logic and calculation behind this law, its to provide protective shield for Tinubu. Tinubu thinks he can escape prosecution. He will likely still be pursuing court cases by the time 2023 elections are being conducted.

Southern fools. See the way they reduced the whole issue to one man. Like the man will never die. Tomorrow, they will be shouting restructuring. On what principle is an agency of federal government able to prosecute financial dealings of state governments? Do state governments have the same right to prosecute financial dealings of the federal government?

MUMU people.
But when the same Efcc was prosecuting some other people they were applauded but since it now concerns your darling Tinubu it suddenly doesn't make sense anymore. You are an HYPOCRITE

What goes to FG from Lagos? I hope you won't mention custom duties from federal owned and controlled ports and other federal govt owned institutions? Even America with independent states still have a federal bureau of investigation (FBI). What is Tinubu scared of?

Yes and the average Igbos or non-Yoruba hates Tinubu so much they can never see the bigger picture because all their focus is always firstly Tinubu, a mere mortal who will pass on in the end, over every development.

This is beyond Tinubu who has likely another 20 years on this earth. This is about essentially needed change to set States on the true path of independence and self-controlled development the FG is resisting vehemently.

The more control States win the more we whittle down the regressive interference of the FG in all our development at State level.

I am sure people like you would resist State policing, despite the reality of Nigerians dying like chickens everywhere, because "Tinubu will abuse it". Better ditch your fear and myopia over individuals and start seeing the idea and not the personalities alone.
Nigerians are dying like chicken because Yoruba's supported a man like Buhari who once said assault on boko haram is anti north. The other day on TVC journalist hangout program, Tinubu's boys were defending Is a Patanmi over issues of his alleged sympathy for terrorist. They said he shouldn't resign since he has made a public apology for his past views. Can you imagine journalist making such opinion on national television. So you can see the reason why captured boko haram members are released into society with the claim that they have repented. Some of them are even recruited into the Nigerian army. Isn't this very absurd? But some Yorubas like you will support anything good or bad that will give your ethnicity advantage.
PoliticsRe: Lawyers Disagree Over Sanwo-Olu’s Attempt To Takeover Corruption Cases From EFCC by aviara: 9:08am On Apr 26, 2021
Tinubu presidency will not be different from Buhari's govt. It will.be coloured with sentiments, ethnicity and full scale corruption. Nigeria needs healing and we need a true patriot with a pan Nigerian mindset before we can truly solve the issues of devolution of power and other restructuring matters. This task can't be handled by a man like Tinubu because he is too corrupt

Why should Lagos do that when Nigeria remains one? Asking for power to be devolved away from the centre , towards States, does not mean any State should then cut itself off from the wealth of Nigeria. You are just being sentimental here.
So you can take allocation from federal govt but don't want the same federal govt agency to probe how such money is used. Do you know the definition of HYPOCRISY?

Abeg the restructuring and devolution of more power in favour of States and regions, that we are all demanding, means what exactly to you?

These are the sort of things we should applaud. Any State that abuses the privilege can remain in the dark ages and draw itself back but any sort of freedom from FG centrist control, be it be over the policing structure or lawmaking, is welcomed and a step in the right direction for Nigeria.

You guys are too myopic, hateful and simple-minded to see that this is a step in the right direction.
Why didn't Lagos pass a law that it will no longer accept federal allocation from the federation account? Yet Lagos is pushing to be accorded a special status and given 1% from the federation account.
PoliticsRe: Lawyers Disagree Over Sanwo-Olu’s Attempt To Takeover Corruption Cases From EFCC by aviara: 8:23am On Apr 26, 2021
The average Yoruba man believes in Tinubu so much as the last hope for the Yoruba nation after the failed attempt of Awolowo and Abiola. So they don't see anything wrong in whatever Tinubu does or say. So the Yoruba man will speak against godfatherism but when it concerns Tinubu they will change the tone. They will speak against corruption but when it concerns Tinubu they will change the narrative. I am surprised many Yoruba's hate Obasanjo but love Tinubu even if they both do or say the same thing. So you will see a Yoruba man hailing Osibanjo for his "outstanding performance" but curse Buhari as a total failure both of whom are serving in the same govt. I have never seen a group of people with this kind of hypocritical tendencies like some Yorubas. Know them, No pain

This is what I love about Lagos state, their sense of independence, setting the pace, and leading the nation across the board.

Lagos State doesn't make legal moves without sound legal and constitutional standing, this is why they always win their cases. They've obviously looked at the law and made the right decision even as sagay explained there's no injury as long as there's collaboration and understanding between efcc and the states.

The lawyers crying are all olodo lawyers, I was expecting serious legal push backs with facts even Section 13(5) they are talking about did not say anything about the topic or that states can not take over federal cases in states.
States can do their independent investigation but the EFCC as anational body has the final say in every corruption case. APC govt and its officials are just a bunch of evil minds. Bending and twisting laws to suit their lust and interest. Shameful.

Foolish lawyers

James Ibori stole billions from Delta State, EFCC froze the asset and money, instead of returning it to Delta State, it was remitted to Federations Account where it is been shared by Kano and Katsina

EFCC would seize cars , laptop , jewelry and money from Lagos Yahoo boys, and auction it cheaply to Kano, Kaduna and Katsina boys, the proceeds is then shared among states that always insult southerners as fruadsters

The sooner all states use their senses and copy Lagos and Kano in creating State Anti Graft Agency, the better.. am glad the bill has passed second reading at Oyo State House of Assembly, and Makinde promised to sign it into law immediately

.
Your reasoning pattern is ethnic, shallow and poorly skewed. Handing corruption cases to states means governors will get away with their criminal acts. For example, do you truly think Sanwo Olu or the entire Lagos state house of assembly will probe Tinubu and pronounce him guilty? Please stop being sentimental and stop protecting corrupt elements because your children and next generations will pay dearly for it

You can see the extent of politicking the Jagaban could go just to escape justice. Imagine Tinubu as president of Nigeria, he will just be making laws to continue siphoning and converting our national assets to his personal estate. Sanwo Olu is no doubt a toy in the hands of his master Tinubu. Above all, Prof Itsey Sagay is a disgrace to the legal profession for his view on this matter. I wonder what price or promise has been offered him to throw his honour and conscience to the winds.
