If the biometrics you have on file and your travel passport are valid for 10 years, then Canada Immigration will give you a 10-year visa if your application is approved.

Your so-called agent doesn't even know that you can get a 10-year visa.

They issue visas based on either the validity of your passport or your biometrics date .
Biometrics is valid for 10 yrs.

So if your passport will expire in 9 months time , you will be issued 9 months even if your biometrics was done this year .
If it will expire in 2026, you will be issued 3 yrs . If it's a new passport that's valid for 5 yrs, you will get 5, if it's 10 yrs you will get 10 yrs .
But if you did your biometrics last year and you have a passport valid for 10 yrs , you will get 9 years .

Clearly this agent does not understand the way it works ? Is there any reason why you don't want to do the application yourself.
Some agents can misrepresent and one can be refused or placed on a ban .
Please be guided , already it's a red flag if he is giving wrong info to get more money from you .

Those waiting for ITF,an insider from FCSC clarified that they submitted their file for approval for recruitment since last month and also an insider from ITF made me understand that things might go down First week of February and that even their staffs do not have the info,that only few directors know about it ,if you have any contact start pushing your botton and trusting in God ,because from first week to third week of January they might have started gathering there list,they will not loud this recruitment,you will might just recieved calls to come and submit your CV,documentation and then come back for your appoiment letter.......
