Wen Buhari becomes the president of that country, they will do worst than these people. The behaviour of the masses depends on the leader.

For example;
In Abacha's time, there was Abacha-gas.

Bizarre! Tall Palm Tree Growing Inside A High Tension Electric Pole In Delta

Wonder will never end. So I traveled to my country home with my parents in Delta State. The other day, was going to the farm with my grandmother. There I saw it. A disaster waiting to happen. What tickled my fancy was the fact that the electric pole is right in the middle of tbhe town. not some far away forest.

Furthermore, there is usually this annual maintenance programme by whichever agency is in charge. How come they have been missing this?

That an important electricity facility like this one can be ignored speaks volume about our mentality as a people.

Here, calling on bloggers and the various news agencies to publicise this till it gets to the authorities in charge.

Note: this eyesore is located at the end of Ikpamaku Street, Adeje Town in Okpe LGA of Delta State.
Wadoooo...

Now that the high tension is in this state, it is not PHCN property ooo, make the area go clear that bush and cut the trees off, na then the useless PHCN go say na their property. Imagine we bought a brand new transformer for our area because after months of writing and waiting, BDEC never answered us. Only for these irritants to come install the transformer for us, they said we must surrender the transformer to dem and give them the original receipt so it becomes their property, else, they won't install it for us. Wen light spoil, na the area wahala, area go manage contribute buy transformer, e go become PHCN property. Wasted set of sperms and ovaries.

Career / Re: Should I Continue With My Job Or I Should Leave And Work As A Money Agent? by awetaiye2015: 10:35am On Jul 23, 2019
bashtee09:
please ignore all grammatical errors

I finished service around march this year and i stayed with my brother in lagos who is a site engineer after service, he was the one taking care of my feeding and giving me money for upkeep, since getting g a job has been really hard for me.

Fast forward to June my mum went on my behalf to one of the well to do man in our community and narrated my ordeal to him, the man asked me to bring my CV the next morning, when I got their the following morning the man gave me his complimentary card and told me to go with my CV and credentials to the company on the complimentary card that I will be interviewed that same day.

when I got to the company I met like 6 people who came to collect there appointment letter, when i met the GM of the company the man said the person that directed me to come didn't inform him of anything, he called the man when I was with him but he didn't pick, he asked me to drop my CV and credentials that I will be contacted after he speak with the man.

I told the man what happened when I got back home, he said I will be following him to the Company the next day, when we got to the company I was given the post of Factory assistant and I was asked to resumed work the following week.

when I resumed work the following week I got to know the man that gave me the link is the chairman of the company and the company is a still a new company which is still under construction, we were all employed to assist the Indians who came from their country for the installation of the machines that will be use for production. the work we were being assigned to is very stressful let's just say we are working like a casual worker(labourer) we break strong concretes with hammer carry big irons and do all sort of work a labourer do, the work is very stressful and we works form Monday to Saturday (8-5).

I explained all what I have been facing at this job to my brother and this week he called me and told me to ask if their is a future plan for us at the company when they begin production, but I told him I don't know about the future plans of the company for us.

He said the reason he was asking me is to know if he should open a PAGA(Money agent) shop which I will be managing pending the time I get a better job or I will continue working at the company
but I am a little bit confused I don't know if I should continue working with this company despite the stress involves and hopes for a better position when they start production or I should leave and start working as a Money agent.

please help a confused brother.

My kind advice for u is this....

Continue with the job and forget about the agent mobile money.

Reasons are:
1. With the job, u are boosting ur CV in terms of work experience.
2. Agent banking is now becoming rampant. I can count up to like 6 outlets in just my area. So the profit these days is not worth it and the risk of getting robbed and ur life at stake. I know of a case where one of the outlets was robbed and the sales girl almost lost her life. Though no work or job without risk but go for the one with lesser risk. And I think the agent banking has higher risk because u are likely to come in contact with a bullet but in that ur company job, if u follow all safety procedures, u will be safe from hazard or accident.

As for the agent banking, before the next two years, u will see agent banking outlets at every 1 minute walk. U know how Nigerians are. Any new idea, u see everyone going into it. I have one as I'm writing u. I have a POS outlet with a sales girl running it. So I can tell u better.
Even if there are no agent banking outlets in the area ur brother wants to establish for u, once u start and others see that there are patronages, before u know it, u will be surprised to see like 3 outlets there. Then the gain will be nothing to u. Besides, just know u are working for the so-called PAGA. U use ur own capital to start this biz, all they give u is the POS machine like first bank is doing also, then u bear the risk of the whole tin, then at the end, u share the profit 50/50.

Lastly, even if u do this agent banking for 100 years, it doesn't add to ur CV in anyway. Ur work experience is what counts, especially if u are in the science or engineer field.
I'll like to drop my keypad at this juncture.
Thank you for taking to my sincere advice.

This FFK's post has got me thinking.
In the mid 60s, Ahmadu Bello was the father of the North, Awolowo was the father of the West and Azikiwe was the father of the East.

Now, if Buhari is the father of all the North, Tinubu the father of the SouthWest, Jonathan the father of the SouthSouth, who is the father of the South East then?

Maybe Peter Obi if not Nnamdi

[b]This settlement is a must and to us in Kano state, it’s a task that must be done, because we must improve the quality of lives of the herdsmen so that they become full Nigerians and behave like any other good Nigerian

So from his statement, they know that the Fulani herders are not Nigerians. So y trying to make them Nigerians? Don't they have a country they came from?

You are right. That's the normal way of doing business, otherwise the OP will get a lot of unnecessary DM from attempted buyers. If the price and location is stated, anyone that will DM u already knows the price and he or she is DMing to negotiate further or place an other. But wen no one knows the price, u get a thousand DM and wen u tell them the price, they run but leaving ur page full of messages.

pls guys I need a budget android phone of 20k

Take my advice and thank me later with 500 naira Airtel recharge card.
Go for Redmi Go. That's wat I'm using. It's way better than most 40k phones.
With 20k, u will get the 8gb ROM version. But with extra 5k to make it 25k, u get the 16gb ROM version.
Check the spec online.
It's better than most 2gb RAM phones. Very sleek, extremely light in weight, the screen is so crispy.
Go for the blue instead of the black.
If u decide to go for other brands with 20k, u will get trash. But with that 20k on Redmi Go, u can't just ask for more. My Itel A32 was stolen inside keke here in warri last two weeks so I decided to try this Redmi because I wasn't ready fo buy an expensive new phone as my budget was low but I had to get a phone for use cos it was important.
Though same price with the itel that was stolen, but it's better than itel's best smart phone and I'm happy I bought this phone.

I rest my case here.

A Spirit is a soul while a soul is a spirit

There's no much of a difference just that a spirit can harbor in a soul but a soul can't harbor in a spirit

Let's say for example in a sentence... "99% of Afonjas are possessed with an evil spirit hence resulting to their extreme depravity" that is an afonja soul is in possession of a spirit which is the spirit harboring in a soul. And the spirit is causing them to inflict harm to the environs and even their family members

You can also put it the other way round like All Afonjas are filled with the holy spirit but that's an impossible tense but it isn't what we are here to discuss

Furthermore.... There's more but I hope you get something from the few points I made

Off to church

Did I just say church

It is only non Yorubas that assume this nonsense. Yorubas will always have different opinions but religious sentiment is the least of all that causes devision among them. Why? There is hardly any Yoruba Muslim family that do not have children who have converted to Christianity. I am an example. There are many more and our people never called for our headd. In short, most Yoruba Muslims will just tell you 'oloun kan na la nsin' , meaning we worship the same God. We are who we are!

The Yorubas never fight over religion. Both the aladuras, Pentecostans, Catholics, Anglicans, Muslims all leave together.

I think politics causes more division among us than religion in Yoruba land.

I am a Christian but my tailor is a core Muslim. We keep religion aside and do biz. We are both Yorubas.

silverbirdng:
The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has said former President Olusegun Obasanjo is the biggest problem of the country.

Akiolu spoke at the public presentation of Battlelines: Adventures in Journalism and Politics, a book by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Olusegun Osoba.

The event held at the Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos and was attended by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Ahmed Lawan; Deputy Speaker, House of Reps, Ibrahim Wase; APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu; governors in the South West, Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, former governors, ministers, diplomats, traditional rulers, among others.

Akiolu had referenced a section of the memoir where Osoba claimed that Obasanjo deceived the then governors of the Alliance for Democracy and Afenifere.

The traditional ruler said he had always believed that the former president was deceptive.

He added that the knowledge sustained ex-Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu.

“The problem we are having in this country is this and I will continue to say it that the number one problem of Nigeria is Obasanjo,” he said.

Redeem members don storm this thread. I am a redeem member as well. Prince of peace parish, zonal head quarter, under province 12, region 23, warri.

I have been having same mind as the protesters. Daddy GO always avoid speaking on issues concerning Nigeria especially as formal pastor Osibanjo became VP and I dislike his way of ignoring national issues. Is not just for him and his family to be safe gaurded by Army and riding jets. Most Christans that are been killed are redeem members. Redeem and winners have the highest population in Nigeria if not the world. Only my beloved Daddy David Oyedepo that do stand against these demons and speak for the members. If other highly respected Pastors and Bishops should do same, we won't be here. Go to the north, their elders speak and even dictate for the presidency.

Daddy Adeboye speaks on marital issues, yet he can't speak on national crises?

Moses, Elisha, Elijah, great Apostle Paul, the list goes on and on, where never afraid to speak to even Kings.

I feel really bad in this aspect of redeem. I do argue with some of my members about Daddy's silence wen it comes to national crisis.

He has the wealth, so I see no reason covering for Osi.
Well, no body should attack me but side with me cos I have my rights.
