maj007: Finally, nemesis has caught up with those Mokola policemen.

If you have ever been unjustly harassed in the name of stop and search operation by those guys you will agree that was nemesis.

Sometimes in January, I was rushing to meet someone at Cocoa House and there was heavy traffic 'cos of the on going construction work under that mokola bridge. I got down from the car and boarded a bike taking only my laptop bag. Almost instantly, I was stopped and was asked to follow them to the station. I felt like it was a dream. Upon my asking why, the two policemen said "move now or we drag u".

I had nothing to hide, so I followed them to their station. On getting there, they took me to one inner chamber where if anything had happen no-one will hear a thing. I was asked to identify myself which I did to the very best anyone can.

Before that, I asked them to let me call my colleague who was also in the car with me to update him of my whereabout. They declined and immediately confiscated my phone.

They took my laptop from my bag and requested that I compromise my password by telling them. I had to do it because it wld be stupid to refuse. They poured other content of the bag on the floor without any care. They found two external hard drives and two personal cheque booklets among some other things. Then came their accusation that they seriously suspect I WAS A YAHOO BOY, and hence they must scrutinize me thoroughly. They ransacked my laptop, storage device and phones. Read all my official documents, personal communications with friends and families as I watched on in heavy heart.

Eventually, when they could not find anything incriminating they asked " why do only u have two personal cheque booklets". At that point, having been delayed for more than two hours, missed my meeting and denied access to communication, my heart was hardened and started responding with annoyance. I told them that I am not aware it is now a crime to have as many as possible cheques. And that I will surely seek legal redress.

Eventually, they released me and I had to do damage limitation for the delay, missed meeting, and the incommunicado state they put me which proved very costly in later days.

A new teacher addressing her pupils on the first day of resumption said,'I love all of you equally." Right in front of her was an unkempt boy and that obviously made him her venom favorite. She takes pleasure in running him down and the boy wasn't helping the situation with his poor academic performances.
At the end of every term, every child's performance is reviewed from the very first year in school till his/her present class to know the progress of the child in relation to every teacher for a particular class. Alas! she realized the boy's problem;in fact, she is the only one who had a negative comment about him. The boy just lost his mother last year to cancer and his dad was a drunkard who cares less about him, let alone his school. He was a very bright kid until he lost his mom.
The teacher felt terrible and decided to be the mother he lost,to pay more attention to his needs and help him get back on his feet. Gradually, the boy started to make progress in his academic n felt a bit happier than he used to be. The boy became better and became the teacher's best student she ever taught.

Moral Lessons: Never judge people by the cover of the book.
Investing in people is the best investment in life- JCI. so go out today and help someone stand on his/her feet.

A priest offered a lift to a lady. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said,”Father, remember Psalm 129?” The priest removed his hand. But,changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, “Father, remember Psalm 129?” The priest apologized “Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.” Arriving at the convent, the nun went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, “Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.”

Moral of the story: If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Some pple are mixing tins up here. We nid to firstly understand the term influential nt which is more develop. There is nt comparism in this case,rather in the course of analysing we talk abt the indices that mk a country influential. They include: politics,economy, military n sport if it may b included. Please just back out of their relationship cos the guy is abusing u in all ways.He is a thief.Pls donttell me u love him ooooooooo cos he doesnt love you and so he doesnt deserve you.You deserve a man that will love u for what u r and not becos of your money.Pls date a guy that doesnt have  family responsibilities or the one thatis finacially bouyanyt to take care of u  and his family wityhout depending on you.
You shld only be supporting a man you are married to and also responsible.And when u r dating a guy, all u shld be able to offer is get him gifts or wears etc but money, i cant support it.A guy that has shame wont even ask his gf for money.It shld be the girl that shld offer to help him if she sees that he is really in need of money.Matured guys will even turn down the offer of their gf giving them money.

You are absolutely right on point on that. A mature guy will never collect money frm you cos I don't do it. Honestly, some ladies are too desperate. There are some things I personally frowned at:

[center][/center] A lady giving her bf money on a constant basis.This should be so if he had done similar tin and you see a reason for it. that is why relationship should be spelled out.
My advice: That relationship is dead, believe me he is only using you. speaking for a man perspective.

It just a pity that some pple aren't just lucky. you hear cases of good guys falling into the bad gals and the other way round.
I am afraid to say dis but the truth is that, his orientation of women has to change. He loves you but he doesn't understand what sacrifices you are putting into the relationship because he is suffering frm inferior complex. To overcome that, he feels if he bosses u around, he will show to you that he is the man.

My Advice: Tell him your problem and be firm to follow your heart on whatever decision you might take thereafter. All the best.
