ahiarah: Ignorance......Smh is it ur earthly body that will appear before God or ur soul?in fact that is the question i want to ask o. op, answer d question o |
The question is unethical like u knew already, control ur urge. if u have what it takes, apply.q.e.d |
@ beryl04 very lengthy n insightful write up. The only point dat struck my conscience is the human right. if you want to come in from that angle, then, we shall be talking about animal right too. Personally, it is an aberration to what is normally natural and i dont support it. if i may ask, are u asexual or bisexual? if asexual, are u gay or straight? |
in Christ alone ..natalie grant. This song moves me |
@ poster, you are on point. I really don't comment on issues that bother on ladies being gold digger or not because they see it as if we guys hate them. i like the fact u brought in the type of gold they want to dig. I also like d example of a miner who wants to start digging. that truly explains the mind of a lady or how do u explain a lady that marries a man she just met few months after graduation other than the one she dated. The crux of matter is we cant do anything abt it than we guys step up our game. |
I have read how issues have been polarized along gender preferences. The truth is just bitter. If a lady says that without the guy being a nuisance, then she is wrong n rude. But if the guy has failed to read between the lines and he has been disturbing her, then he got served. In all conclusion, action speaks louder than words |
See big time flirting. Anyway, you guys really entertained while it lasted. Rip to the deceased and i hope ike survives to preach against covetousness. |
Hello Guys. Want to share this: Judging from what goes on tirelessly on this forum which leaves one baffles and nauseating, am compelled to share how to live a better life. * Never Hate. It is so easy saying this words to someone who had never been betrayed or left in the lurch than someone who had;however, life has taught that those who live in hatred die with bitterness and this isn't good for the heart. We need to let go , more so if you are truly a Child of God. *Never Worry. Ever wonder why the bible, even Our Lord Jesus emphasized on this two words. it is good to project or be proactive, but projecting isn't same as worry. To worry means you are disturbed or anxious about something. *Live Simple The problems we are facing in Nigeria are many: structure, corruption, bad leadership, bad followership etc. But in all these examples, GREED as an emotion has a role to play in it. The bible says godliness with contentment is a great gain. *Expect Little This is not to say you should not think big or expect big returns for your investment, rather this is about your outer disposition to your fellow being. The essence is to avoid getting disappointed. You know what disappointment can cause, I need not to tell u. *Give a lot. You don't have to think along monetary benefits for this. You can give your time, your advice, your honesty, name it. What you give is a seed that will return in multiples to you. So go and sow a seed. *Always smile. Life can be beautiful as well as ugly. Believe me, when you wear a smile, people will be attracted to you. Smile also beautifies the visage. Lastly, when you smile, you give the impression are you blessed even though it is otherwise;and people will be curious. Don't you think is good to leave them in doubt about the YOU sometimes. *Live with Love I am not surprise love is coming last, or are you? Without mincing words or just to avoid an epistle here, God is Love. Peace! |

I can never believe this report. Enugu has always be so quiet when it comes to media reports except recently when its airport was converted to international status. Anyway, this is Nigeria. |
well articulately written. Funny how some people are lazy to read, the person that wrote it should do what.... |
I dont know why people are laughing about this. This is a question that CBN should look into by bringing the marriage of network providers and our banks. with mobile money, it is the opposite of what your question is. |
15 KEYS TO NEGOTIATING SUCCESS. 1) Never accept any proposal immediately, no matter how good it sounds. 2) Never negotiate with yourself. You'll furnish the other side with ammunition they might never have gotten themselves. Don't raise a bid or lower an offer without first getting a response. 3) Never cut a deal with someone who has to "go back and get the boss' approval." That gives the other side two bites of the apple to your one. They can take any deal you are willing to make and renegotiate it. 4) If you can't say yes, it's no. Just because a deal can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. No one ever went broke saying "no" too often. 5) Just because it may look nonnegotiable, doesn't mean it is. Take that beautifully printed "standard contract" you've just been handed. Many a smart negotiator has been able to name a term and gets away with it by making it appear to be chiseled in granite, when they will deal if their bluff is called. 5) Do your homework before you deal. Learn as much as you can about the other side. Instincts are no match for information. 7) Rehearse. Practice. Get someone to play the other side. Then switch roles. Instincts are no match for preparation. Beware the late dealer. Feigning indifference or casually disregarding timetables is often just a negotiator's way of trying to make you believe he/she doesn't care if you make the deal or not. 9) Be nice, but if you can't be nice, go away and let someone else do the deal. You'll blow it. 10) A deal can always be made when both parties see their own benefit in making it. 11) A dream is a bargain no matter what you pay for it. Set the scene. Tell the tale. Generate excitement. Help the other side visualize the benefits, and they'll sell themselves. 12) Don't discuss your business where it can be overheard by others. Almost as many deals have gone down in elevators as elevators have gone down. 13) Watch the game films. Top players in any game, including negotiating, debrief themselves immediately after every major session. They always keep a book on themselves and the other side. 14) No one is going to show you their hole card. You have to figure out what they really want. Clue: Since the given reason is never the real reason, you can eliminate the given reason. 15) Always let the other side talk first. Their first offer could surprise you and be better than you ever expected. |
Your explanations are quite insightful. I asked someone and this is what he said: Being poor in spirit means having the earnest desire for things of the spirit. He emphasized the 'poor' as being in need. Worthy of note the live Christ lived while on earth is centered on Love. This can be seen with the parable of the Good Samaritan and when Jesus preached to the Samaritan woman by the well. |
thanks for your reply. From your explanation, it can be deduced that majority of nowadays Christians may/will not enter the kingdom if God. Am I right? |
Hello guys. I was reading Matthew 5:1-13 and verse 3 caught my attention when I was studying it over again. What does Christ mean by those poor in spirit, theirs is the kingdom of God. How does it relate to our present world. thanks. |
hello guys. Wow, is a good day to start with. I hope for the best today, and you? cheers! |
It is sad that most ladies have a general belief that an abusive person cant change. The truth is the man has realized his mistakes. The question is: Does she still love him? can she ever forget those bad incidents in the past. she needs to evaluate what is most important for her in a man because there are two sides of a person. We choose what we can put up with in a person. Am in no way supporting an abusive relationship but what i am saying is we all get a second chance and we should not sound so perfect in course of advising someone in need. If we read what she said, she said he was very good at first but along the line something happened. what happened? what went wrong? This clearly means any good person can turn to a bad person. I wish you the best n I hope the Lord guide your thought to choose rightly. Shalom |
plaetton: Recently, a christian woman came to preach to me and I remained cool and listened to her as she spent considerable time preaching to me. |
wow I have only watched white house is down. I think I will get the other this wkend. I still love the suspense in white house is down. |
Cahmegga: Ur analysis is a fail! Some of these parties will merge before the 2015 elections...to give prolly just two parties..In fact you read my mind. A consensus candidate will be chosen for the presidency when the time comes. Just wait n see. |
When I saw this, I smiled because am guilty as well Of truth, i used it for all my online stuff not because i am still into her but i just dont see anything odd about it. So op, talk to ur hubby about how you feel because he might not know you r hurt by it. |
There was a time on Nairaland where similar call was made and all promoters of each tribe agreed to stop. What happened thereafter? The simple truth is, solutions lie in being stringent with some of the rules or you formulate a rule for the politics section since that is where tribal bashing is spewing from. Anybody not more than 3 months old will not be allow to create any topic in the politics section. when a moniker is ban, he should be banned for years. No begging If possible, IP addresses should be banned as well(I understand some people may tunnel). Any topic that has the potential for ethnic bashing should not be brought to the front page, and if by mistake it happens, such thread should be closed. Lastly, I think some moderators are mischievous and bias.So OAMJ4 work on that too. I hope that you guys finally put to rest this spiteful thread brewing up gradually by what we write here. Believe it or not, millions are reading even though they are not commenting. Have a great day |

I had to read twice to get the unspoken words and the truth is the husband is over reacting. Your wife may be silly but do you need to tell her that. The wife goofed but the best I would do is to be silent. Is also obvious there may be some scores the man want to settle. Thirdly, I am tired of hearing people telling the woman must do this to make the marriage work. what about the man? It seems marriage is about the women. like someone said, she does this n that, yet her man won't help in house chores at least once awhile. some men should grow up abeg. |
I have never commented on sensitive issues on Nairaland because of the sensitivity of it and because at the end of it, nothing changes. As a Yoruba man, as it is with other tribes,my allegiance will naturally support a Yoruba man, policies, ideas etc, as against any other(there is no justification for this, just natural). Of truth, What my governor did is called stigmatization and it is bad. kosi oruko meji fun koda, koda ni koda je, but then, can I blame him? Lagos is developing and it is the smallest state in Nigeria, yet people are still coming en mass every day.As a responsible government, he needs to develop policies, mechanism to discourage if not send people away . people should not allow emotions to becloud their reasons. In fact, this is not a war on tribe rather against the helpless and the poor in the society. This clearly shows that this government implicitly is trying to make people reason and make other governors responsible and accountable for their people. Believe me, this will in long way better the lives of those involved so long they don't die in the process. If you can't make it in Lagos, go to other places where things are cheap. I personally am planning of relocating to my town in ilesha because is so peaceful and things are cheaper. Peace! Eko o ni baje o |
