he did not let the youths down that decision they took that time was one of the best decision just that the new naira note wasnt sufficient enogh.

So of what use was it when the CBN did not put the unavailability of notes into consideration before implementation?
Is that not sheer stupidity?

Nice one baba. I'm here at Elesekan Market Ibeju-Lekki. It doesn't take more than two days before 55bags of pepper clear off. A very good business but one shouldn't be in a hurry to make huge profit

Do you also put into consideration what might happen to the goods if the vehicle carrying it develop a fault.
Doing that business is not for someone with that capital

I have been doing it for over 5 months now and to God be the glory, I haven't witnessed such and the pepper bags still get here as targeted on the specific day while sales bloom and later drop in the mid day.

As per that capital, it is more than enough to start with.

The price is determined by demand and supply

You are right sir.
Irrespective of the demand, the profit margin is always there

Good morning nairalanders, this is my first time ever of of attempting to run a business, and I intends to make 100k - 150k yearly

I currently have a start up capital of 2.2 million naira, what business can I start up with it that will guarantee me 10,000 - 13,000 naira monthly.

Your opinions will be highly appreciated, thank you.

A real physical business like buying bags of pepper in the North and selling them here down south in Lagos.
For instance, a bag of pepper in Kano might be 15k, with the laada, loading and all that, it might come with a cost of 17k.

a full bus can contain 55bags that is 17,000 X 55 bags = 935,000

Transport to Lagos = 300,000
935,000 + 300,000 = 1,235,000

When it gets to Lagos, a bag goes for as much as 30 - 35k most times
that is 55 X 30,000 = 1,650,000
laada on each bag of pepper is 500 naira which is 55 X 500 = 27,500
Offloading = 5,000
1,650,000 + 27,500 + 5,000 = 1,678,000

profit for just a single trip = 1,678,000 - 1,235,000 =443,000

Pepper is hot cake here. You can message me for further details.

Did you just say Zamfara governor? You mean someone has this money in one of the poorest states of Nigeria? Oh Nigerians, no one will go back to the creator with all this money you people are hoarding ooo.

It's been circulated all over social media tracing it to an inheritance from his ancestors. That's a whole lot of money and assets
Politics / ASSET DECLARATION: What Is The Criteria For Determining Assets? by aycorporat(m): 7:27am On Jun 01, 2023
Recently in the news, the Zamfara State Governor declared an asset of 9 trillion naira to the surprise of many. A lot of stories emanated on how he made his money and all that.

My question is, how does the code of conduct verify one's assets if true. Can I just declare a huge sum of money and assets which I don't have in the premonition that if eventually Iake such money in the Government, I can't be queried or the code of conduct tribunal has other ways of verification.

With due respect to his predecessors. This is not your regular placid or laid-back Femi Adeshina or Garba Shehu, who are only known for dishing out defensive reactions and birthday shoutouts. This man Alake is information manager and 'school-teacher' in one person.

Whenever you hear 'Goodday gentlemen of the press' ... Just know it is Mr. Dele Alake either ready to pass information in a very enthralling, engrossing and convincing manner while maintaining full professionalism.

Or he is getting ready to school intrusive, unprofessional pressmen. The 'busy-body' AriseTV lady who tried to misbehave during one of the then APC PCC press briefing can attest to the fact. Alake had to stop Fani-kayode from engaging in a war of words with the obvious partisan unprofessional journalist. Then he schooled her on ethics of journalism which she and the media house she works for; lack, and also gave AriseTV a fair share of their own reprimanding as take-away.

Tinubu administration is about to kick off in a bad note
Imagine federal ministry departments and agencies have not been payed may salary

Before they usually gets thier salary Before 28 of every month

It is about to get worse for Nigerians

The truth and happy thing about Tinubu's administration is am not gonna pity anyone anymore since have realised that the masses are the problem of Nigeria
A south African friend told me that if tinubu gets more than hundred vote in this election then it means Nigerians are sick and the tribalism hidden in us is out openly

This verse continues to sound like a broken record.

Tinubu has come to stay

Someone pointed out yesterday on how Tinubu will lose in court concerning the double nomination and how it will surely be the doom of the APC.

hmmm. with this judgment, Oga na master.
I sincerely feel for the losers as the pain will become unbearable daily as more judgements will be dished out and fines awarded.

Two people I adored and reverred so much that I can't bring myself to understand how terrible and useless power and money have made them become are Abike Dabiri and Femi Adesina; these were people I would do anything so as not miss either their column or tv programme, I would save till Sunday to buy Sunday Sun to read Adesina's column then while nothing would make me miss Newsline on Sundays hosted by Abike Dabiri. But, see what the two have become- shame of the profession they were once loved for and cherished for.

Adesina actually writes on weekdays like Friday while Louis Odion anchors the Sunday Column

Politics / Re: Deji Adeyanju Slams Obi For Parading Abure As LP Chair Despite Court Order by aycorporat(m): 2:27pm On May 19, 2023

Very funny isnt it?

First of all, Yesterday, when the tribunal was taking appearance for the representative of the political parties in court. When the LP representative was called upon. Abure couldn't summon the courage to stand up, 'dem no born am well' . It was Lamidi Apapa and the LP women-leader that stood up. Abure knows that would have been disrespectful to the court. He knows he isnt recognise by the law. HIs claim to the position only start and end on social media and beer parlours.

Secondly, Labour party and its goons have been bullying the judiciary since the tribunal started. Telling them to make sure they do the right thing. The same labour party cant even honour a simple court ruling. Imagine going to court to seek justice, yet, back in your fold; you are disrespecting the judgement of a court. Does that make sense?

Thirdly, Obidients and its opportunist of a candidate have been going around crying about bullying, violence, Oluomo, voter-suppression in Lagos. So many tweets, so many posts, even letters to foreign countries. Yet it is this same Obidients cheering-on their fellow miscreants who manhandled someone 'inside the premises of a court'. They only condemn violence only when it hurt them, but support and encourage it when it is in their favour.

Bunch of hypocrites.

I like the way you state facts and give them "as e dey hot"

So why the fake news in the other thread? Sincerely, its high time our security agencies step up their game. How would it look like if US Navy seals invade our sovereignty.

The Igbo people are good people who don't tolerate cheating and are peaceful in whatever they do. Infact, during my service at Ukanafun in Akwa Ibom State, Ogbor Hill Aba was my second abode.

However, I'll say this. May it not be well with those supporting the IPOB and the evil taking place in Igboland thereby giving them a bad name, including all the useless online supporters. May their end be damned.

Nigeria will be great again.

Funny thing is that these ones will be denied by their employer as the employers in the first place pushed them to use crude means for money retrieval.

they would have applied the Yoruba wisdom that " ti a ba ran ni ni ise eru, a fi t'omo je" meaning if we are sent in a despicable manner of slavery in carrying out instructions, we should be able to deliver as a free born.

See where the whole thing has landed them. I pity that pregnant woman among them

By the way, why does he have a smiling face in one of the pictures?
It seems he was handled "with care".

Employing some miscreants under the guise of security can be risky at times especially if the employer lives alone. I know justice will be carried out on this as the police can't wait to use him as a target practice.
