Op, all the intels you've got point that this lady is not your missing rib, but you're saying otherwise.

She's tasted money from the big guys so just expect some negative reactions from her if at any point in time you fail to meet up with her demands.

Her telling you to put her on a salary of 60k shows how lazy she's become for a lady who was once hardworking. This lady is for the streets. To be sincere, this new opportunity was a great one for me.
The journey started Q2 of this year. All I can say is His Grace propelled me beyond my thinking.
Though it hasn't been that easy especially when you consider some factors. Aside from that, I was doing fine.

Back then in Nigeria, I worked as an analyst, my last experience really shaped my skillset, especially SQL. No one will tell you this.
SQL currently remains the number 1 skill any data professional should have. Then in my previous company, we had like 5 analysts, each writing SQL queries that are always complex and from that output making use of BI tools or python to analyze and present the result. It was a great collaboration.
From the growth I had, a series of thoughts started lingering if I should switch to data engineering since I already had good background knowledge in SQL, databases, and python. I just had to shelve it.

Fast foward>>>

The fact is that everyone has been applying to international countries and has been getting regret mail. I have been there too.
In May I applied for a position. The 1st stage was a code challenge/analytics questions to test my skills. After passing the stage, I had 3 extra interviews( technical, non-technical, and work culture fit test).

Mid-July, I got a mail that I was successful and that the immigration agency would reach out to me.
Omoooo, thats how I jumped up oooo. I can't remember how many times I jumped. It was a big moment for me. If someone had earlier told me I was going to the UK this year I would just laughed at the person.
Ending of july, that's how I got a mail from the company processing the immigration to enter my details. They got me my certificate of sponsorship in 2 weeks. The visa type is a skilled worker hence the need to get the sponsorship certificate.
During the process, I had to get Medium of instruction, BSc certificate/transcript which puts me on level C1 of English proficiency.
Early September, I applied for the Visa(Priority) which came out in a week.
The biggest jump I had this year was when I got a call from DHL that someone is waiting outside. I already knew it was my passport. Getting downstairs, I saw the man. He gave me the parcel, that's how I quickly climb upstairs and opened the door. The next move was opening the package. As I opened my passport, it automatically opened in the middle and I saw the visa stamp. That's how I jumped up oo, I was jumping like a child.

Something better to do with your time is in fact learning the truth of Jesus Christ so you don't go around putting your foot in your mouth - contradicting the very Word of God - everytime you make these which are foolishly imagined doctrines of yours. Think about it for a second! How can the very Word of God, the Truth of God, command that you obsess about the ways of the enemy, all this while at the same time demanding you love them and pray for them,not against them? Do you somehow think God a foolish being or something?

So this thread was created to expose the hidden works of darkness as the topic says. And I will be sharing what I've been privileged to know so far so we can all learn and know how to better address issues that seem strange in our lives.

And I've been thinking about what to share since this thread was birthed but I just got what to talk about this morning.
So I'm going to make a post about "Inherited curses" unfailingly tomorrow, which is Friday.

Absolutely not a part of it at all! We are meant to continue using what we have been given in order to receive more so we can use even more - that's what Jesus Christ taught His followers to do. It is the same rule as far as love, understanding, wisdom, faith, etc. You don't sit and accumulate. You continue to use what you have in order to receive more.

A friend of mine who's a student reach out to me and asked me to help her find a roommate because she won't be able to rent an apartment alone.

I was scrolling down my Facebook wall the other day and I saw a post from a girl who was looking for a roommate. I saw this as an opportunity to connect that my friend to her, so I quickly chatted her up and let her know I have got someone for her. She was excited and thanked me.. but when I reached out to this my friend to let her know I have gotten a roommate for her too, lo and behold she told she has seen someone already so she's no longer interested.

I reached out to this random girl I met on Facebook to let her know it's not gonna be possible again, she was so disappointed. She had to beg me to help her find someone. I put it to her that there was virtually nothing I could do for her again. I let her know I stay alone but we have gender differences so I can't let her come to my place of which she understood.

She chatted me up the following day that she doesn't have where to stay and that she's been sleeping in a classroom for the past three days. I forgot to say; she's a newly admitted student, she told the money she have is for her school fee and registration so she can't afford a house now but she will be buoyant enough to secure a house by January.

Well, I let her moved to my place with an agreement that she's gonna stay and move out by January.

Now I have been having mixed thoughts,

The bad boy aspect of me is telling me to start having sex with her but the good and rational aspect of me is telling me NO.. reason being that;
(1) If I have sex with her she might be too comfortable to move out.
(2) I don't want her to feel I wanna take advantage of her because I gave her a shelter.

It's not easy to live with a woman that is not blood related to you. She has spent 5 days with me already and I been able to decipline myself from touching her. I Sha like the man I'm becoming
