dabrake: It was on my birthday when I received a phone call from my girl to breeze in campus which I did. As I got to campus, we walked straight into a hall, were watching a movie, . . . Of recent, my departmental president was beginning to cling to her but I would always turn a blind eye. So on that day while we were watching a movie, she just, all of a sudden, screamed "chei!! presido must have finished his project defense oh. Let's go and watch him". Initially, I refused but she later convinced me in which I followed her up. I happened to be a very popular guy in campus and I've gat that high rep in my department as ogbuefi so while we mere climbing the stairs, my colleagues were packed in one corner checking their released result(s) as school had just resumed . . . as we reached the first floor, she saw my departmental president, screamed "presido!!!", ran towards him, jumped on him and kissed him while all my colleagues(senior, junior and level) watched in a boolean eye movement(from her to me) because they all knew I was dating her . . . presido lamented her refusal to watch his defense and she promised to make it up to him that night. Meanwhile, I don swallow spittle tire everybody dey watch. . .
Fast forward, about a week later, I was swaggering towards the department when I noticed everyone staring at me and I was like "wetin I do again? I wear back of shirt? I wear 'rice and beans' shoe? my kokoro dey show? . . ." As soon as I reached my department, the first thing I noticed was my picture, her pix and that of my president on our notice board. She was the newly crowned queen and our editorial board was interviewing her. During the interview, she was asked and I quote this "Sometime last week, eye witness(es) watched you run into the arms of the departmental president and you also locked a kiss with him with your supposed boyfriend(me) watching. . ." and she cuts "Nsikan and I weren't dating". madam, end am there nah, she no gree. Then she added "we were close because he would always help me with my assignments. You know how difficult calculus, programming, statistics, kirchhoff's rule and others were now? Whenever I call on him to help me with my assignments, he would never disappoint me . . . " . . . Worse still, it took the DOI donkey years to update our notice board. I need not tell you how that semester went on
And my name changed from ogbuefi to assignment boyfriend.

I've tried so hard to summarize it. It was actually longer than that
Mine is slightly different.
This gel started loving me right from our pre-degree days...lovelorn she was
We were so close as friends...got admitted into the same department.
I wanted bleeping her, but that might challenge our friendship.
As Engineers, and always on the go due to departmental stress, I was always buying her corn, groundnuts and et al.
Eventually, she was hooked by a mate in Mech Engr.
In conclusion, we were always make jest of ourselves anytime we meet.
''corn buyer like u, u no gree talk in time before another man came my way, who knows if u sabi d thing sef''
''look at u, you wey I just dey pity, come try me and see if I wont dislocate ur hips....''
We can continue like this for mins....a very close and true friends she has been!

I had my first brk up & lost conciousnez. A friend, guy, took hold of me and cared for me. He played with me jst to make sure i regaind conciousnez. Meanwhile, he had a girlfrnd whom he loved too. He sang in2 my ears, took me to canteen,.... There ws a day i was having serious menstrual pains @ work, he took permission & drove me home. We fell in love and it was interesting. Then, we broke up again, jst because of 2 things!age difference and fear of loosing his grlfrnd. I learnt a song ''how do i live, whitney houston''. Although, he wanted to make sure i fall into safer hands bt, it was already late! I lost TOTAL conciousness which landed me in an hospital for a week. Hmmm! I still fear hearkbreak, till date, cos of what i went thru..
The guy was never in love...an opportunist!

my own,
i fell in love with a guy who claimed to be a pastor but to me,he was a fake pastor because of how he behaves, telling lies, doing runs,(a banker) etc,so to cut d long story short, he broke my heart, and then i had a male frend , just ordinary friend o, know almost everythng about me including my relationship with d fake pastor, so when i was heathbroken, as usual, i went to his place to let hm know what happened,so i went there and noticed that from d begnning to d end of my story he didnt say anythng,so i challenged him why he'z not saying anything and he just sighed, after much pressure from me, all he said was dt he loved me snce we've been friend since our secondary schl days but did not know how to say it because of our closeness,so, that is how we started, and today,we're blessed with 3 children.
From childhood friendship to marriage. I've never for one day regret marryng him. Thank God i was dssappointed by d 1st guy.
I just had to quote that without saying anything!

sanniemoe: This topic is Hilarious o..Lemme share mine..sometimes 2010,i met an older lady thru fb,a single mother of 2 beautiful kids in her early 40s(i'm in my mid 20s)..though,i've fallen in love like thrice before then but the one with that Lady was more than genuine..I saw Heaven through her eyes, tall and absolutely elegant,She defined beauty, buttersoft lips, body glitter than gold..She was naturally endowed(as in excessively busty..50DD to be precise then)..I really loved her and was willing to DO ANYTHING FOR HER..Sex with her was awesome..Even as she don born 2 kids and bleeped God knows how many men,the punany was amazing to me..She was a world I wanted to live..Jealousy,age difference,a little immaturity on both sides and lack of communication ruined us after a year and some months but looking back,I would still love to be with her...
NB: She no be sugar mummy as i am very comfortable and never collected a penny from her..Love just found its way in our heart
Seriously?

UNLEASHED: Seems you only read my earlier post but you didn't interpret it before you clicked the reply button. I'm not asking prospective students to come and invest in UK universities. I said IF you are financially and mentally up for it. Different strokes for different folks, while some people think it's rip off, some doesn't really care and willing to pay whatever to acquire good education, so you have no point for saying studying in the UK is a rip off.
And I mean "mentally" in the sense of intellectual standards, plus the quoted text in bold shows the level of your ignorance Mr. #No hard feelings wink
Just hear urself out ''Mr. #No hard feelings''
U can only look, but cant see...so u cant see that their economy is partially based on income from education sector...what a pity!
Compared to indegeneous students, is that not a mere ''rip-off''?
Tax!
Even football also.
Do u know the amount the government make from these sectors at all.
I cant blame ur ingorance more!
About the mentality (psychological) aspects, somepple I know&read r now regretting so many things....CHANGES over the yrs!
UK is a place u will enjoy if u are well equipped with money, and not for the averages, or else........

I met this gel via yahoo chat room if I can still vividly remember. I was then in my 100 level.
We started along very fine, and the coast was so clear and smooth.
En route to Lagos from Yola, I decided to go see her at Anambra...
Spent close to 2-3 days there with her. The period my Mum gave birth to my youngest sibling.
Got her and her room mate some stuffs a day before I was to travel.
The same night, she told me we have to cut it off...it was like a shock....for what.....what could be the reason/problem, but never a reason for the break up.
Could it be because Im not tall?
Could it be because my spoken English is terrible?
Could it be because my accent is highly flavoured?
Could it be because she is from a royal family?
Could it be because Im not hippie enough?
Could it be because we are of different tribes?
Could it be because I could be so reserved sometimes?
Could it be because, because, because........many thoughts running thru my head....issues we have discussed thoroughly.
Begged her throughout the whole night to give me a reason, but still!
Travelled the second day with heavy heart, and couldnt neither eat properly nor sleep well for like a month...NO BE SMALL THING O!
A gel wan give me hypertension at such a tender age, but I finally got over her.
Many things happened after sha with courage to keeping in touch!
She remains the last gel to genuinely broke my heart....there cant be another!

Baba Ibada: Nice one justwise. You can bring fish of up 20kg if you are fish type but don't try meat. I had all my meat seized in May but the immigration officer told me nothing 's wrong with fish. Bring a maximum of 10 packs of 20 cigarettes (200 sticks), as for lighter, you should be ready to bribe Nigerian immigration to be allowed to bring it on board coz they took mine from me when I was coming here in May but never mind you will always get ur ciga lit up at any appropriate time and places.
More importantly brace up for rigorous studies where plagiarism is a sacrilege, copying and pasting will land you in trouble and proper time management will be a big plus. Save for few lucky ones surviving on part-time job is a myth here as you may not get one any quickly if not at all. Before you resign from where you're working now in Nigeria create a good impression such that if there would be any need to go back there you wouldn't have any problem coz after your studies you may just find out that going back home would be the best option. Did I just say I am packing my stuffs? Good luck fellas.
What are u gonna be doing after studies?.....No work in England, and d available ones are reserved for her citizens.
SMH for pple clamoring for that place.....though they are indisputably good academically, but now being overrated!

FINANCIALLY..its so ripping off compared to other universities.
Well, they depend on Education for the survival of their economy.

Politics › N25trillion Worth Of NEPA To Be Sold At N200billion.....scandalous! by ayobase(op):
The proposal of selling of NEPA has been on limbo over the years until now. And now I know why it's been on hold. The government simply lavished our money building and buying into NEPA for their personal enrinchment later in the NOW future.NO WONDER!

Which government will want to lose in an investment!

The government flagrantly denied the staff of NEPA the right of purchase in an outright defiance...what a hobson's choice!

''......since you are going to be selling this TERA-company at an outrageous price, then why dont you sell it to us at the expense of our collective gratuities from 2010, plus our collective salaries of 6 months in advance, and see if we dont turn NEPA around within the next 6 months......''
That was quoted un-sic.

But our governement is bent on selling the company out to those that have no iota of idea on how the company is being managed. What a thievery and nascent idea.

They (Atiku, Dangote, GEJ, Babangida,........) simply wanna share among themselves.

Imagine our budget, and imagine this THIEVERY escapade.

Even NEPA's vehicles are worth N200Billion...sorry for my hypothetical conclusion.

N200Billion for Generation stations, Transmission stations, Distribution stations, transformers, RMUs, sub-stations, structures, equipment and et al around the Nation.

Common, this is one of the daylight robberies.

Before the proposal for privatization, the company was worth about N15Trillion, but now N28Trillion after more investments have been done for their collective selfish purposes in the NOW future they have been planning for.

Imagine the allocated bubgets yearly for power sector since the time 'privatization' became an issue.
N200Billion against N25Trillion.

Hey, it is not an obscure agenda, we all know about it.

Incorrigible and gluttonous nonentities in governent!

THIEVES!

Fela don sing for una finish!
