In Nigeria, home schooling kids who are of school age is not advisable and hardly works. Kids go to school not just to learn how to read and write, but also interact, improve their social skills and sharpen their mental abilities. All these cannot be gotten from home schooling.

I understood you, clearly. Let me also say my point again, there is underpayment of labour hours in Nigeria, forget about the exchange rate. Labour market is not regulated in Nigeria and exploitation of cheap labour is too rampant and that's why labourers/workers are being given peanuts as wages and salaries.
Imagine a labourer being paid 5,000 naira for a whole day! What can such amount do?

My younger brother was struggling when he was in Nigeria despite working with one of the Nigeria's leading commercial banks. He travelled out and his living conditions dramatically improved and even completed his own building from the scratch within three years without even having a land before.
Let's stop lying to ourselves, the economy, the wages and the left over after deductions and bills are not the same
