tompolo has a week & suspicious argument. Y seek to expunge a constitutional clause dat prohibits perpetual injunctions? Tompolo must realise dat facts are sacred. One of the major problems wrong with Nigerians is that we forget easily. This brainwashed blind bats who love to view things ethnically are quick to forget that the fuel scarcity experienced towards the end of the last administration's tenure was really unbearable compared to what we are currently facing now. Then, major sectors were shutting down, from telecommunications to the media, from aviation to banking. Nigerians were literally cut off from the rest of the world during that period. A period in which getting a bus to the bank to withdraw money was difficult cos buses had no fuel. When you manage to get to the bank, you are told you arrived late cos they close early due to shortage of diesel. Was the power sector any different?

Take a look at the pictures of fuel scarcity events that took place in the last administration below and tell me that Nigerians didn't make a good choice in voting them out.

1. the fuel outage towards d end of Jonathan's administration lasted barely 2weeks. In d case of buhari, For virtually 11 months Nigerians have been entangled in d web of government-made scarcity. It is on record dat GEJ handed over a Nigeria dat was fuel-scarcity free.
2. scarcity of PMS at d twilight of Jonathan's regime was artificial. Independent marketers refused to sell fuel but it was available.
In contrast, Vanguard newspaper dated 1/04/2016 quoted Dr.Kachikwu as saying that due to the inability of NNPC to provide Nigerians with sufficient PMS, it will allow independent marketers import 60% of the refined product.
Subsidy scam/blackmail was the main reason we had fuel scarcity at the twilight of Jonathan's regime. In the case of buhari, even when the fuel was available was it selling at govt regulated price? the answer is NO!

I was not expecting fixing the problems with Nigeria to be easy.. The Dams and turbines are obsolete, Gas lines being vandalised daily, what do you expect?

If they are shutting down fully, I have no problem, as long as any moves the Government makes going forward are all geared towards a long term solution.



All I will ask President Buhari to do is be transparent. Give us undiluted truth on the situation of things on the ground. Whats responsible for these issues and what moves is he making to fix them. Thats all we can ask..

This policy is counter productive. The reason for high inflation in Nigeria is basically due to very short supply of goods due to the forex prohibition and not from high circulation of money; retracting money from the economy will make people even more poorer and unable to buy goods which in turn will kill businesses, factories and establishments which relies on these people to sell their products.

I don't agree with totally on d cause of inflation. I think it's both demand pull & demand push inflation.

My question is, can we get the Chadians to rescind their decision if we take up the responsibility of funding their remaining matches and paying their players allowance? as this could still give our second place position in the group the needed value of qualifying us.


NB: I know we find it hard to pay our players and coaches , but trust Nigeria/Nigerians in a situation like this; we can play the big brother to our neighbors especially when we are going to benefit from them( e.g multinational task force , ceding of bakassi peninsula to cameroon , etc).
