As in eh, since morning Ntel isn't connecting. Their near-useless 0700-Ntel-Live has wasted about 500NGN from my credit. For the first time, I'm getting 4/5 Bars and I can't even load www.google.com

Choi... We don't want that at all...

MB/s means Megabytes per second, which simply measures file download rate (Transfer rate). That is, if you see 8MB/s it means you're downloading or transferring 8MB of the file in every one second.

While Megabits (Mb) is the actual measure of your network speed. Apps like IDM display download rate in MB/s while speed testers such as Fast and Ookla display your network speed in Mbps.

As for conversion, it takes a network speed of 8 megabits to download a 1MB file in 1 second. Haha, I guess I forgot to make it brief.

Thank you jare.
I understand perfectly.

I can't help yer much on that because I do not stay in ABJ. However, according to Toluxa1 Airtel 3G gives him an average speed of 3.3MB/s. Hence, their 4G ought to be better. Also, from users on this thread Ntel works well at Area 1 & 2 and Gwarinpa.

Thank you so much..

It gets better...Well, for your sake I hope it does. Mine wasn't browsing well for like a day. I thought I was being throttled. Now, I'm hitting 2.4Mb/s, occasionally.

2.4mbps is that not slow please educate me.
See my MTN below on a little over 10mbps

Hi guys!
Respect to the air of techy knowledge on this forum.

Please is there anyone that lives in Abuja that can advice me on which internet service provider is better between Spectranet and Ntel for Gudu District.

I actually have Spectranet that I have not used in a while. MTN has been messing up all my online meetings.

So what do you advice guys do I start with Ntel or just pick up my Spectranet again?

Thanks so much guys.

You should have done it when she was 24hours old.
At 2months she can feel pain a whole lot more.

Naomi14 they didn't allow...I even tried when she was 6 weeks...
where I delivered they don't pierce that young anymore.

My dear the Earlier the better.

I pierced Adele's ears when she was just a week and I treated it with hot water while massaging her body.

You can get a nurse to do it and I think it's the normal rubbing before piercing

I know o.

Where I was they dont pierce a baby's ears till they are 3 months at least even in piercing shops.

Now that she is two months I'm looking for where they use piercing guns instead because of the pain.

The hospital is your best bet

Thanks soich hunniesuzie. Please do you know how they do it? Do they use a piercing gun? I mean what method do they usually use?
Being that she is 2 months old,I'm concerned about the pain. Where I had her they said they don't pierce baby's ears until 3 months minimum.

Thank you so much everyone...

The price they gave me for virgin Atlantic return ticket to Nigeria for my baby was $465.70 or so...guess the price kept increasing....the trend is obvious from your responses.

Thanks much!

I was like what? we are heading to $500 here...
I actually thought the baby ticket would be 10-20% of adult's ticket.

There is no law against carrying food on a flight. I don't think you can bring food from home and it will be allowed through security. You can buy food after security and board your flight though. That's the difference.

Yes I think so...too.

Please 20 pounds per hour in the lounge is expensive. would they allow me to stay at the airport for the 23 hour lay over if I do not sleep. would I require a uk transit visa. please has anyone experience virgin atlantic layover and what was the situation. were you allowed to stay at the airport to wait for your connecting flight despite that the lay over is a long one.

Yes you can stay in the very very large airport...

If you find a whole seat to yourself, you can stretch your legs and sleep...
Just that you are pregnant the comfort level may be very low, but if you are strong, which I know you are, you can do It & who would watch your luggage if you are alone...
But if you have company, the time would pass swiftly...when you take turns to sleep & watch your bags... smiley

I would have loved a British traditional meal instead...like steaks...you know something much more tasty.

Anyway at least they got me to my final destination.
