Well, Constance Brown is a respected writer but you may not get the "comprehensive" explanation you need on Fibonacci. Fibonacci has limited literature that can give you the comprehensive knowledge. You can get the book.

But Robert Fischer's A New Fibonacci Trader coupled with Scott Carney's Harmonic Trader Volume 1 & 2 will give you what you need. I think I still have the first volume on my old PC.

I notice that these so-called gurus dont really trade anymore, they make money from books, seminars and subscriptions.

The ones who make the big bucks while trading rarely write. Dont get confused with variety. "Choose your choice".

August 31 is the day world top economic minds would hold a meeting with the Fed Chairman. He is expected to give a speech right there and investors are "expecting" that he would actually hit the nail on the head about QE3 because that was were he hinted about QE2.

Anyways, its merely an "expectation". But if Bernanke says something like this : We would add stimulus to the economy very soon. Another MASSIVE Gold rush and inflation would be triggered which would weaken the Dollar.

So lets see what happens that day. Till then, lets flow with the trend.

Lest I forget, todays new home sales is also an economic indicator to the Feds decision. If there is an increase in new homes, it means the economy is improving.

Okay. If u entered early enough, 2000+ pips would have been covered because it touched 1666 this morning. Well, its still en route to your target though.

I believe this is just a stage fright.

Israel said that they would attack Iran because of its nuclear program but Obama is yet to give his support.

Obama is more concerned about re-election at this time than anything else. Plus supporting Israel would not boost his profile because US is already wallowing in debt.

One thing is sure, Israel will not go to war in 2012 only if GOD permits.

If you can look at your daily TF you'd see its at 1655. 1655 is the resistance which it has tested twice or so. Lets wait till the candle closes before we proceed. But a long term trader doesnt have anything to fear about Gold.

Another thing we should be wary of is sentiments. Investrs might actually take a chill pill till August 31. So patience is key. But Gold is BULLISH.

This price is based on what happens in September. And unlike money (QE3), Gold cannot be printed. Its value still remains.

The last day of August and the First week of September are days that must not be skipped.

Investors like PIMCO have increased their stakes in Gold some minutes ago.

You cannot just make certainties out of perhaps's. The same sentiment investors had towards Mario Draghi who dashed their hopes.

Until its actually pumped into the market, I dont believe policymakers.

And for chrissake, we have been trading on 'expectations' for the past five months. Infact this year has been a gallop due to investors "expectations".
