Family › Re: I Hit My Wife by Ayt27(m): 11:14am On Dec 16, 2019 |
Ekene161829: Thank you for you advise. I never done anything like it before and I taught I could never do such a thing thing to her and I regret everything. Normally we argue like any other couples, she will be screaming and get really heated , I will leave the house for some hours and comes back later , and I keep myself under control Op,women know how provoke a man can get, they can provoke you, by just singing self and when you react they run and play the victim. While I KNOW that it wasn't your intention to hit your wife, but the heat of the moment caused it and you acknowledge your mistake by apologizing. I would have said be done with the apology and let her do whatever she likes, when she's tired she'll comeback, she probably had been saying she'll show you pepper before you came in her mind, hence the continual raising of voice. I would advise you beg her continually not because of anything but because of your security and safety, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", if she wan deal with you she will and for your mind you may think everything is fine. Someone somewhere can finger a woman's brain to turn on her husband and say she's doing it for her kids. Just jejely apologize like mumu, treat her right and maybe not trust her with some information we all know where she will run to with the info. To marry woman no hard but to pursue woman commot for house na him wahala dey. P.S Not in support of your coming in late, you should have told her in advance or update via text but I am not in support of her going to her family after one round. |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Difference Between God And Lord? by Ayt27(m): 11:41pm On Dec 01, 2019 |
johnmba: Have been wondering if there is a difference between the two. My reason is this: we believe that Jesus is God and in St. Paul's letter he said " Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"
Also Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit said " who am I that the mother of my Lord should visit me".
So people is there any difference. Firstly what you need to understand is that the Bible was translated to English by a Kingdom, the kingdom of Great Britain and the terminologies used there were terminologies common to their time such as "ye, thou, hast, Knew( to mean sleep with). To understand that you have to understand the way a kingdom operates The term lord is a title somewhat similar to chief and king or head of the community , number 1 citizen and the king in England was sometimes referred to as my lord to address him, that applies in courts also because the judge is like the number 1 citizen in the court room. So a Lord is the most powerful person now for God , the term God means self-sufficient not needing anybody, anything , or anyone . Whenever you read I am the LORD God, what the translators were doing is telling you the LORD( most powerful person, number one person) God ( who is self sufficient). Also in the bible you see LORD and Lord telling you that there are two lords there but the most powerful is referenced to as LORD capital letter and the less powerful is small letter. Lord is just a title that the English brought out, if it were the Norwegian language we spoke it may have been the word Chief. |

Why then does the bank charge for the transaction on USSD? What exactly is the charge for?
The banks are being greedy(As banks usually are) they charge N20 for interbank and N52 for intra-bank transactions and they still don't want to cut the telcos in on it.
The telecos should cut the service and insist the banks share the profits with them. |

Respect55: Just woke up now to post this because I felt bad since I came back and slept off. No more relationship for me. I will marry when I'm ready My guy please take heart, your mental health is the most important here. Make sure you don't lose the mental foundation. If you truly truly can, just ignore her(it may be difficult, but please do). Since you already played it cool the first time , there's really not much to say, you are not a kid, you know when the jig is up, the jig was up when you caught her. If can't and you want to indulge yourself/herself you can hear her out but only after she reaches out to you, preferably in a public place make she no go dey blackmail you with cry and I'll kill myself. Have her pay for whatever you guys are having too. Remember your final answer always "It's already over between us". I prefer your "Let her conscience eat at her" approach Congratulations! Respect55 you dodged a bullet ,only foreseeable problem is that this hit will so damage your psyche it may affect your future relationships. |

1mrprolific7: First: You're not going to die! While it may look intense, the Death card isn't suggesting that you're headed on the road to your demise. Instead, the primary lesson to learn from this card is that change is inevitable. Things begin, and things end. Then things begin again. Absent of fear, be ready for sudden change. Letting go can lead to a powerful transformation.
While the depiction of a human skull may be unsettling, it's a reminder that none of us—not kings nor any others in power—can truly control what comes next. But we can choose how we respond to it. In the card we don't just see a skull, we also see blooming flowers. So, Death isn't just the end; it's also the beginning. A rebirth. The sooner we accept that, the faster we'll grow. Lander's happy New Week. Weird way to greet NLander's a happy new week |

Politics › Re: NNPC Spends N1bn Daily, Petrol Subsidy Hits N19.37/Litre by Ayt27(m): 5:20pm On Nov 21, 2019 |
Kanade21: Well, we produce a lot of crude, but our large population makes the money meaningless.
As an example, Pakistan and New Zealand have the same GDP. Pakistan is poorer because of their high populaiton
Corruption makes things worse.
Basically, subsidy means that anyone refining petrol in Nigeria is going to be selling at a loss. (which is why Dangote refinery is not going to 'save us'..plus Dangote took loans guaranteed by government to build his refienry, and the banks were pleased to lend to him).
Plus, if the refienreis are fixed...remeber the last one of them was built in 1988. So, with all of them operating at full capapcity, the amount they would produce won't be enough to meet our needs.
With subsidy removal, since government is no longer controlling prices, people would come in and build more refienreis without goverment paying any money. Because now they can make a profit. The problem is, prices would go up....but the comeptiton should bring it down. Very apt, Competition is not a guaranteed way to keep prices low, competitors can come together form a coalition to set high prices or general prices, rake in profits. Telecoms operators probably do they same in Nigeria and in the US. The only advantage would be creation of more jobs which may improve standard of living but probably just for a few people and short time. |
