i tire for all of u ah ah encourage these guys no! u must be negative for the sake of it can't u guys just be objective. i mean these boys(yes boys thank God for mri) battled against the odds being 3 goals down, ur own fans booing u and yet equalized almost beating the germans. for me that shows a team with character. Any nigerian team that shows such character even against superior opposition has my backing 200%. besides if the germans were so gr8t y did they allow the GE to equalize? abi no b their u-20 beat us recently with same 10 men

dk nawa for this your delusion. so bundesliga strikers are great abi? ok heres a question for you. how many strikers have epl teams bought from bundesliga that turned out to be goal scoring gods? u keep mentioning CL trophies as an iron caste proof of greatness so based on your knocked engine logic red star belgrade that won CL b4 is now better than Chelsea & Arsenal who havn't won any yet? guy u need Jesus. while u @ it beg ur philosophy proffesor to retake u on the subject of logic God knows ur nazi brain needs it

grin, has to do with generational nocturnal moonlight curse. grin
But Let's be honest, how many teenagers who've joined Arsenal whether at 15 or 19 looked like the real deal to you at inception ?
Even Anelka with all his potential was not the ish when he joined the gunners. There's no denying that Arsenal are known as one of the best clubs for a budding players whether they started somewhere else or not. Even Mourinho three years ago threw a gibe at Arsenal when he said we had a good first team, after that we had boys . To him developing talent was a waste of time, and to an extent you too. Because i can go and dig up countless comments you posted on Wenger being a paedophille, or 'why can't Arsenal buy "real" players ?', 'what is our obsession with "little boys"? '
Now you contradict yourself by saying the "unreal" players and "little boys" are established or developed unreal players and little boys from other clubs. huh
Please make up your mind Sir.
guy y do u even bother with dk?

larimo:
hello Nairalanders abi Nigerians,

Lets stop being abusive about things! Our very terribly spoken words are the reasons why nothing progresses much in Naija. Would we ever be this abusive to ourselves or our family? Haba! Its not good. We can criticise but not insult people anyhow. We insult and offer no solutions. All we do is insult, insult, insult! How many patriotic things do we do in our own areas of endeavours! Rubbish!

There were blunders in this game particularly in defense. The germans were gifted 3 easy goals. They showed a character that we have lacked throughout this competition - discipline. About out players, why are we so critical knowing that from the group games, they have lacked the attacking prowess? It was certainly not going to change dramatically against Germany. However, they showed they can improve by scoring twice, something they never could do at the group stage (forget Tahiti).

Siasia did make some errors in pushing too many players forward in the dying minutes, but he showed that regardless of the team, he has been able to adapt his tactics to contain such a team. For me, he is tactically sound. However, Siasia had one problem - picking the wrong team. Why he did that, I dont know but I assume that he didnt have enough time to act well. We all know he complained often about the defense before this tournament. Siasia cant be written-off because he showed that if given enough time, he can deliver.

I have drawn some positives from game. I think Rabiu Ibrahim, King Osanga and yes Ighalo should be drafted to the senior side. Many will insult by saying Ighalo didnt do anything, but how many Nigerian strikers today have such strength to hold off defenders as well take countless shots at goal? Rabiu has what no Nigerian senior player has today - creativity and vision. Osanga has got quick feet and he's pretty decent in crosses.

The future is still bright if only we stop being insultive and do nothing but think on how we can move forward. Lets remember that there was a time when Ghana and Ivory Coast was out of place in african soccer but they have come back with a bang! We can bounce back too.

For me Siasia is still the best and cannot be compared with Amodu.

God bless!

quality post! that said it doesn't mean siasia is exempt from the teams tragic performance. he also contributed in the decisions(or lack thereof) that he made but he is a good coach so he should a lesson from this painful as it is.

As for Haruna dem send that guy to us tongue tongue i mean how diabolical can one person be? 1st na him miss penalty (twice) for junior afcon. now na him come get red card and worst of all e come help us snacth defeat from the jaws of victory ah ah! dem swear for am.

Anyways sorry for my rant had to rebuke that familiar spirit in haruna form. future wise rabiu should go straight to the senior national team he's not the new jay-jay but he has more vision and skill in one leg than all our midfielders combined(chei our national team don suffer)

don't lose the faith we will get there someday, somehow(make that soon reach ooo!

havn't seen the movie but if its true were potrayed as being alleged then i understand all the up roar, the movie might be great storywise but if you show people in bad light (in this case nigerians) then it indicates lack of respect, c'mon why didn't use ghanaians or zimbaweans or SA pips to potray gangsters angry. or name the gang leader mandela or koffi annan? they should just stop taking the piss out of us

Well so much Ado about this Super(chicken) Eagles:this guys are rich, its obvious they are no longer motivated to play for their motherland like players from countries do!I pity Nigerians who still passionately, faithfully, religiously, emotionally, financially and otherwise are still sentimentally attached to the eagles!I have news for you all:expect more heart breaks! This players are not of same quality with what we use to have in the 90s.Even the committment to achieve what their predecessors achieved,is not there! We all could optimise our passion for football and channel these emotional resources in worthwhile activities that would make us achieve unbelievable results in our numerous life endeavours and all around make the world a better place than you met it! i know this incident has being argued to death here but the point that wenger & debo are trying to make is that uefa are being hypocrital or at best behaving like vigilantes. No body here is sayin dudu didn't dive to win a pen but the ref(though wrongly) has ruled on it and as such u would have thought mature peeps as painful as it is move on but no! bitch on something that can't change the result. i also wonder what kind of lenses uefa is using picking on dudu while missing the more crucial incidents of the past. case in point chelsea in last year's semi- final 2nd leg tie against barca were denied a clear pen when the ball clearly hit piques hand. even though wrong that decision turned out to be crucial in the end and what did uefa do? they rightly respected that though disastrous the ref's call was final. But with Arsenal they are gong ho all moral, puhlezz! my fellow gunners abeg what is your take on todays game

Neon lights fluorescent sights
Visions to make your heart take flight

Scattered fragments in a dark vacuum
In vastness of space all seem to be consumed

Twinkle of an eye in the night sky
As the rotation of Gaea goes by

Round the day star of life giving heat
That signals a dawn of life…an immerse gift

From dark nothingness to bright consciousness
That miracle of creation unexplained loveliness

For all mechanical workings and all technological wonders
Can’t match the intrigues of the universe that make the heart ponder

Why a speck in the dark among giant rocks
Is considered to be of such worth?

To warrant illumination of mind and soul
Granted to all creatures great and small

This mystery has been with us from the dawn of time till today
In our spiritual source we will have to trust and obey

the most annoyin part is that they didn't win tosh last season. u would think they would want to send a message out to the rest of their bundesliga rivals that we r here for bizness, instead dk is yarning unrelated jargon instead of being a man & sayin ur teams losin it. All this the league is not won in Augustblah blah, is getting boring. infact next season when bundesliga starts delibrately lose your first 3 games since u so confident that those early points don't matter
