yomibabe:the cup i used was the size of small drinking cup. |
breadplanets:i can learn better, is the sugar little or much and also the baking margarine.
|
yomibabe:4 cups of flour 1/2 cup sugar 2 teaspoon yeast 3 egg( one for brushing the dough) A tin of peak milk A cup of baking fat/ margarine 1 tea spoon salt Mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Break two eggs and whisk with milk in diff bowl. Add baking margarine into the flour mix and knead, pour egg/milk mix and knead to form a good dough. Allow dough for an hour( cover the bowl) by the time u open, it would have increased. Put in a greased baking pan of your shape preference. Allow for another thirty mins. After it would have increased again and ready for baking. Break one egg and brush it on the dough The heat of your oven will determine the length of the baking. (Pre heat your oven). Due to erratic electricity supply in my place, I made use of coal pot and pot filled with sand as oven. It took a pretty long time. |

It is Nigeria they come and do Apartheid Committee, apartheid this, you know, they meet in Namibia, in Nigeria, everything Nigeria takes on his head, you see this country is a gestapo country. How can Nigeria be talking about South Africa, you see South Africa is better than Nigeria, I know so!!!. My brother look we are saying whites are mistreating blacks in South Africa, okay that is bad, that is racism, they have a reason to do it, then blacks are mistreating blacks in Nigeria, what is the reason, that's worse, police beats people on the streets like dogs, i mean in South Africa they do it, but they know they face public... em em.... public criticisms so they watch themselves to do it, but in Nigeria, they say Nigeria is against apartheid, Nigeria is this, Nigeria is good, America talks about Nigeria like is the greatest African country but Nigeria is the worst African country, we have the worst things that are happening, worse than South Africa. ( culled from Fela Anikulapo's Interview in the 1982 documentary video 'Music is Power') |

Want to know if present day Russians are really descendants of the ancient warrior tribe the HUNS and also if my perception that an average russian is taller and stronger than other Europeans true. |
As a Rasta i believe in d use of GANJA otherwise known as herb, the only thing is you must know how to use it, not good using it when you dont feed well. It makes you sleep well, it calms your nerves down and boosts your appetite. It is not addictive like cigarretes or drugs, it is not man made, it is Jah given. Chew it, cook it, smoke it, it is all good, that is when you know how to ise it. Bless |

This is not about ethnicity, religion, political party it is not about PDP OR APC OR APGA or whatever, they are all same corrupt people. It is about one man who can be faithful and honest enough to do the right thing, the one man that can hand to us what good governance is. The day when we cease to have stronger individuals and weaker system, is the day when Nigeria's match towards her rightful place of greatness begins. |
I can't help but wonder or ponder on how some 'too know' Africans tend to prove more civilised or more westernised than the Europeans/Americans or whatever. Don't let us forget our roots in spite of globalisation and all that. I tell you, the europeans or people from the descent who settled in America many centuries ago have culture. In a good family set up you do not call your dad by first name and so also your mum. I recall few years back, my dad had this American friend a professor of Philosophy who usually come visiting then, it was suprising one day when he corrected myself and my brother that whenever we write him a letter again we should add the title Uncle. Don't really want to bother anybody with this story, but just to say we are getting it all mixed up thinking we are imbibing a better and more civilised culture, even the almighty wants a whole lot of regards when you refer to him. I can't imagine. |
but remember guys, as soon as your tickets continue not to sell promoters start looking the other way. |

an ancient yoruba word for an Oba. |
First and foremost the name NOLLYWOOD itself sounds not creative now tell me what to expect when you have a 'fruit of a poisoned tree' situation. Okay, as a trained personnel in different Caliber of firearms both side and assault, i find it soooooooo annoying when you see actors in the movie firing an automatic weapon - say Ak 47 or the LAR and always have to coc each time a round is fired, for crying out loud an automatic weapon continues firing as long as the hand is on the trigger and till the clip/magazine gets exhausted. |
