I have answered you, do Lagos, Ogun, Ondo who have river tributaries and creeks flowing into the Atlantic belong to the Niger delta because of the virtue of having coastal borders? So if not, not necessarily all lands that have water bodies feeding a bigger water body as in oceans and seas make a delta......they could be peninsula, estuaries, bays and islands, however in Nigeria a Delta which is a natural God made occurence became labeled as in a Geographical entity. No fight.

According to Geography and Judging by the definition and physical characteristics of a Delta, only Bayelsa and Rivers states, perhaps some part of Delta state, should make states that make what is referred to as Niger delta in terms of Geographical location and feature. All others found themselves in there as a matter of political interest. Edo state most especially being an upland state, doesn't have any business with what constitute a delta, therefore shouldn't be there. However, this is Nigeria, white can be green, while blue can be labeled purple, as long as interests and sentiments are involved
