Smh. I only respect Mourinho. But he's getting overrated by his fans, plus his football style is outdated at the highest level. That's why he is playing in the conference league and now in the Europa League, where his current level is.

His fans will squeal non-sense like "Pep can't coach small teams, yen yen yen", like Mourinho has left a big team without getting sacked and joined a small team. The only time you would see Mourinho in a small team, apart from his early days at Porto, where he got his famous breakthrough, is after he got sacked and no big team wanted him.

Comparing him to Pep, that leaves teams when he is fed up or not interested in the club's project anymore. And when he leaves his team still plays frightening football and win a lot of games. When Pep leaves with such outstanding CV, top clubs will go to extra lengths to get him.

Unlike Mourinho. Mourinho is rigid, stubborn and not willing to evolve. He keeps playing ugly football and losing plenty of games, but he won't go back to the drawing board and try something new. Look at Pep this season, he has given up possession many times to win crucial games. He has learned that sometimes his team would suffer and it is part of the game. They have defended solidly and pressed efficiently in the most brutal games and the most excruciating atmosphere in Europe.

To the logical mind, Pep's philosophy is light years ahead of Mourinho's. In the deluded hateful mind, Pep is an overrated bald vulture that only manages top clubs.
