Many rush into marriage thinking they don't have crucial roles to play in sustaining it. It's either you forgot quickly why you married your partner OR you weren't even mentally and psychologically ready i.e you lacked the maturity. Always remember that marriage is 'advanced friendship'. You're friends with him/ her on a totally different level from every other friend. Now comes children. The more reason to become stronger partners because you're there to protect and guide them. If you neglect all these, then you, or your partner as well, are merely 'children' who fail to understand marriage as dutiful and not just some societal rites! |
