But PMB needs 100% of the crude oil in the SS, even though 5% of the SS voted for him.
Crooks . .
igbos can never talk without attaching with their MINORITY SS and that is a fact. This attaché by force is more audible now. Isnt the topic about SEhuh?but you had to add SS to it because SE has no MAJOR contribution to the National coffer so your statement wouldn't have made sense without attaching SS to it. Sad!!

How I so hate this man. I just can't imagine how Nigeria would have been if this clueless man were 2 rule us for the next 4yrs we would have been worse than Greece.
The problem with some uninformed Nigerians is that they don't know how to separate HUMILITY from INCOMPETENCE. This guy looks meek but like he once stupidly said, he "didn't give damn".

Jonathan's government was disturbingly myopic and lack good initiatives. What impact would stoves have on the lives of those poor people? N9.2bn is enough to embark on a life-changing mission on an entire community. When you buy stoves for them, will you also buy kerosene? If it is an electric stove, is it a village that has not witnessed power supply that will enjoy the stove?
It beats my imagination how a learned president of the federation will decide to take us aback to the olden days. He did the same by throwing his locomotive trains to the face of Nigerians. What a waste of 6 years!

Just tell Buhari to hurry up with his campaign promises. The appointment ish is already boring
like Joe Igbokwe just rightly wrote, Yorubas want good governance over the "he is our own" syndrome. What did Jonathan do for Niger Delta for 6 yearshuh??

THE WAILINGS OF A TRUE IGBO SON: I AM A WAILER AND PROUD TO BE ONE!

TO THE PEOPLE OF MY NATION READING THIS, I WANT YOU TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE PARTS IN BOLD

I usually laugh with scorn whenever I come on Nairaland and read threads like; Igbos this and Igbos that. One of such threads is this; https://www.nairaland.com/2500452/joe-igbokwe-igbo-play-opposition. Who made Joe Igbokwe the mouth piece of the Igbos? Can these fellows live a day without mentioning the Igbos? If one were to observe very well, they will notice that Nigerians expected the Igbos to cry blue murder when Jonathan was evicted. Nigerians expected the Igbo nation to cry and beg for political appointments. But they were surprised. Life in the East has remained normal. Had it been their Northern candidate lost, we know that hell would have broken loose by now! But in the East and South, It was as if Nothing happened. Even when their preferred candidate Jonathan lost; no riots was experienced in the East. Everything was normal as expected. But will Nigerians leave Igbos alone? I doubt that. Will they stay a day without mentioning this unique tribe? Very impossible.

What did the Igbos do? Is there anything wrong that we did specifically? I DOUBT THAT. Why then are the Igbos hated so much? Why are the powers that be (Hausa Fulani), always trying to marginalise the Igbos? Why are other major tribes; Hausa, Yoruba etc so resentful of the Igbos? I know that quite a number of Nigerians and a quite number of the Igbo nation are still seeking the answers to this salient question. Now your search ends. I have known these answers all these years from my experience in traveling round the country and some other parts of the world. I AM AN IGBO MAN AND WILL ALWAYS BE PROUD I WAS CREATED ONE. I CAN NEVER DENY MY IDENTITY FOR POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS NOR SELL MY TRIBE FOR MONETARY GAINS! ANYDAY I TRY SUCH, GOD TAKE MY LIFE! I LOVE THE IGBO NATION WITH PASSION AND YES: I AM TRIBALISTIC! I WILL NEVER DENY THAT!

Back to the answer as to why the Igbos are resented and hated so much, I wouldnt know how to summarize it in a writing but am going to do it by borrowing a paragraph from Chinua Achebe's "There was a Country". It goes thus;

"I have written in my small book entitled "The Trouble With Nigeria" that Nigerians will probably achieve consensus on no other matter than their common resentment of the Igbo. The origin of the national resentment of the Igbo is as old as Nigeria and quite as complicated. But it can be summarized thus: The Igbo culture, being receptive to change, individualistic and highly competetive, gave the Igbo man an unquestioned advantage over his compatriots in securing credentials for advancement in Nigerian colonial society. Unlike the Hausa/Fulani; he was unhindered by a wary religion and unlike the Yoruba, he was unhampered by traditional hierarchies. This kind of creature fearing no god or man, was custom-made to grasp the opportunities, such as they were, of the white mans dispensations. And the Igbo did so with both hands. Although the Yoruba's had a huge historical and geographical head start, the Igbo wiped out their handicap in one fantastic burst of energy in the twenty years between 1930 and 1950!

Had the Igbo been a minor ethnic group of a few hundred thousand, their menace might have been easily and quietly contained. But their members ran in millions. As in J.P Clark's fine image of "ants filing out of the wood", the Igbo moved out of their forest home, scattered and virtually seized the floor".

Paul Anber explains;

"With unparalleled rapidity, the Igbos advanced in the shortest period of time of all Nigeria's ethnic groups. Like the Jews , to whom they have been frequently likened, they progressed despite being a minority in the country, filling the ranks of the nation's educated, prosperous upper classes...... It was not long before the educational and economic progress of the Igbos led to their becoming the major source of administrators, managers, technicians and civil servants for the country, occupying senior positions out of proportion to their numbers. Particularly with respect to the Federal public service and the government statuory corporations, this led to accusations of an Igbo monopply of essential services to the exclusion of other ethnic groups"!

To
OP you said everything was normal when Jonathan losthuh?I guess you don't remember the bafoonrey made by the igbos JUST SHORTLY after their loss at the polls. Even the Ijaws whose son lost the election weren't that brazenly stupid. Igbo GROUPS were the first and only group to go cap in hands to Buhari to plead and demand and when that tactic didn't work, Ohanaeze and massob as usual started being nuisances by issueing ultimatums and threats. When that didn't work,we started hearing about Biafra. These people ehnn?

but Yoruba's seem to be very concerned about it. Why the wailing, igbos are yet to even comment about it.

Mind you, I'm an Igbo from delta too.
Yorubas are not concerned, they are just laughing at how Igbos are really making a mockery of themselves in this new administration. They asked for Biafra but their groups were the FIRST AND ONLY groups to bombard Buhari with requests (cap in hand )after a 2% total votes. They are a laughing stock.
