PoliticsRe: Appointments: Ohaneze Gives Up On Buhari- Daily Sun by azzima(m): 8:53pm On Jul 23, 2015
EUROBOMBER:
I have carefully analysed recent events and taken time to study a lot of what happened before during and after the Biafran war.

The truth is that if the Igbos succeed in pulling out of Nigeria, the Niger Delta might not completely be part of the new country but they will definitely also seek to be on their own and manage their resources. This would effectively leave only the SW and the North in Nigeria. If it turns out this way, the Yorubas most likely would also gently ask to be left to be on their own. At the end of it all, we go our separate ways.

Let me quickly add here that Igbo land is much bigger than the Nigerian politically defined SE. Should Nigeria break today, all Igbo-speaking parts of the SS will be part of our new country. The Igbos will force no tribe to be part of us, we will accept those that want to stay with us and those that don't want to be with us will be free to stand on their own or join any other groups they so wish. I am saying this loud and clear so that some people will not come here and start shouting, "We are not part of your Biafra, leave us alone, leave our oil alone."

The Igbos can do very well without oil. There are many countries in the world without oil and are doing very fine. Germany is the most powerful economy in Europe today and they don't have a cup of crude oil there. Israel moved into a desert and converted it into a country very comfortable for habitation. The list is endless. Recent trends have also shown that oil is becoming worthless by the day. What really matters for a nation to be great is the quality of human resources available.

For the parts of the SS that would choose to be part of the new country, we can accept to run a regional system of government between the core Igbo states and parts of the Niger Delta. We can even accept a solution such that both regions would take 80% of revenue accrued within the regions and contribute 20% to the center. This the Niger Delta can never get in this present Nigeria.

For those people from the SS always shouting leave our oyel, I want to tell you that the Northerners are already drinking your oil and have even become drunk on it. You are shouting at Igbos to leave your oyel whereas Northerners are taking the same oil from under your nose and you can do nothing. How myopic and sentimental can some people be?

On a closing note, I believe in one Nigeria but one where there is justice, fairness & equity. For me, Buhari should hand over to an Igbo man if Igbos are truly part of Nigeria. We are part of the big three and too big to be ignored.
EVEN if there is an igbo president of Nigeria or Biafra,I can guarantee you that their innated whining will surface again when the igbos of Abia will cry marginalisation against igbos of ebonyi or the igbos of delta will cry marginalisation against the igbos of imo.what am I even saying? The igbos of ebonyi are still fighting each because of ethnic hatred WITHIN the state o. Igbos hate each other, their number 1 issue.
PoliticsRe: America Has Refused To Sell Weapons To Buhari by azzima(m): 1:34pm On Jul 23, 2015
deniyor:
Where are those who were insulting Jona when they refused to help on BH earlier. America is not your friend, na only lip service they sari. It's all about controlling Nigeria and its resources. They care about their selfish interests. Nothing more. Don't be deceived.

But then I blame us for asking them for help in the first place. When you can't solve your problems yourself, and you invite others to help, you invite ridicule into your affairs.
Please don't ever add Jonathan to anything good jor!. How can a government SMUGGLE $9M into another SOVEREIGN country to buy arms from the SAME sovereign country without the sovereign country's knowledge? huhhuh? Does that make any sense? huhhuh?Jonathan is the epitome of INCOMPETENCE!!!!

Once pmb became presido, they were the first and only group (shameful)to go cap in hand to beg for favors and demand. Now they say they have given up on himhuhMost confused set of people.

Rose2014:
I get pissed when I read all these advise on one Nigeria
How many times have Hausas compensated Igbos for destroying our properties in the north. Igbos are naturally very hardworking nut what's the use if after toiling to build houses in Hausa land for instance, they wake up one morning and knock it down. Now Yorubas call us immigrants and are always looking for an opportunity to show their hate for Igbos

Is it by force to be a Nigerian?
'I no marry again' na crime?
why should hausas compensate you igbos for being stupid as usualhuhwhen igbos started printing T shirts and playing music to taunt your Hausa host about their leaders that were murdered by igbo soldiers. What the Hausas did afterwards is history. How dumb was that? ....and still dumb today.
PoliticsRe: Dasuki And The 'my Brother' Syndrome by azzima(m): 4:51pm On Jul 20, 2015
barcanista:
Nonsense! We all know know that Sambo Dasuki, Aliyu Gusau, IBB and co belongs to a different Military camp from Buhari, Abacha and co. It all started in 1985 when Buhari was toppled by the IBB "boys". Dasuki personally pointed gun at Buhari's head in Dodan barracks. When Abacha struck he moved to retaliate. First, he deposed Dasuki's father as the Sultan of Sokoto. Then he prematurely retured Sambo Dasuki as a colonel. Buhari was part of Abacha's government and one of Abacha's strongest ally. What we are witnessing is continuation of their fight and not corruption fight. If Buhari wants to fight his kinsman then he should move for the Abachas.

#Nonsense
what is this fool jawing abouthuh?? What is the relevance to what the OP is sayinghuh?we are talking about " our brother" syndrome that is sooo prevalent with just one tribe and you are here talking about some stupid camp. Ode!!

He will be released in the fullness of time. Let DSS squeeze out as much info as necessary from him first.

I don't care what anyone thinks, PMB should use every means necessary to bring all crooks to justice. They've done enough damage to Nigeria and they never felt remorseful about it when they engaged in sabotaging the nation.

I am realllyyyyyyy enjoying this NEW Nigeria. PMB please continue to put order to this disorderliness called Somalia........erm,erm. ...... Nigeria. All these noisemakers remind me of the show "The dog whisperer " where the dog is so used to its bad habits that it naturally fights against the changes made by the dog whisperer (Cesar milan).after a few hours of retraining it's mind and constant physical corrections, the dog submits and starts acting right. This same example applies to these "wailers". It's because they have been so used to wantoness and impunity that they are naturally resisting positive changes. Don't worry, they will calm down soon. Kudos PMB!!

people who have offended without their knowledge of the offences will start choosing the kind of jail they want to be in either
house arrest or solitary confinement.

it's saddens me when I hear statements like this,it is going to take a tough stance for us to collect our money back from these thieves. Why have Nigerians become sympathetic towards all these thieves that have retrogressed our country? huh??

Is Mr President aware of this development?
This might likely be the work of security zealots who see a need to impress to get their pay.

It is wrong on all counts to hold a man to ransom without so much as a fair hearing.
One can only imagine the torture he is being made to undergo?

I hope to hear of the man's release soonest.
Mr President should not be a party to such crass violation of human rights.

Hopefully, when this news gets to him, things and records will be set straight.
Hopefully....
mumu, do you think they will JUST arrest him for no reasonhuh??when there is smoke, there is fire. We are collecting EVERY KOBO from any looters EVEN if its my own father , every money must be accounted for.

Am enjoying the NEW Nigeria.....order needs to be restored. Jonathan has put Nigeria in disarray for long. ICPC and EFCC were toothless at least during obj tenure, the fear of the efcc was the beginning of wisdom. Kudos to pmb, he shouldn't listen to all these PAID groups that are making noise. Nigeria lost control in the past 6 years. Well done pmb!

at least he was a military head of state once and a twice elected civilian president of Nigeria, now tell me just ONE Ibo man that got even just a quarter of those feats huhhuhhuh Zilch!!!!
