SDP seems to be currently taking the thunder away from PDP as its close between APC and SDP.

My analysis is based on reports reaching me so far. We have been hearing more of APC and SDP than PDP and also PDP has been the party so far engaged in vote buying activities with one if their party agents already arrested

bros PDP ain't seen nothing yet..how they thought they would win this Osun election still baffle the hell out of me. Even SDP self na another sobriquet for PDP...same nonsense but different names.

The English are the invaders and the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh, dislike them. The other 3 are 'brothers' under the Celtic belt, the Welsh speak their own language and English is mainly spoken in some cities but the rest of Wales speaks Welsh. It's all banter at the moment but they've had wars in the past and the bad blood is still there but they obviously don't make a big deal about it like we do in Africa where tribes refuse to marry from each other and such.

I don't know much about it but I hear the banter from the English and the Welsh... The Irish were considered the niggers in England and there would be signs saying 'No niggers, no dogs and no Irish,' so it's always been the case just that it ain't part of the image sold to the world.
Even with Brexit, you have the Scottish threatening to remain in the EU while parts of Ireland have left the UK. It's not the loving family the UK likes to convey to the world but it's a working system and they're all still loyal to the Queen so there's no real point to be made.


P.s everyone finds it weird to got to the cinema alone but I'm going to break that taboo, tomorrow. I will report back to you how it felt!

it wasn't until I encountered Wales foremost female writer, about a decode ago that I experienced first hand the mistrust of and the old animosity of the English. Can't say all here. But like you said ,they are all so loyal to the Queen and the Uk citizenship seems strong and highly respected by the outside world but we just can't say same of Africa and Naija. There is no better statement that exonorates Amaechi from Odili's years of brigandage than the Judicial inquiry instituted by Amaechi and headed by prominent as well as impeccable characters immediately Odili left government house in 2007. Isn't that an opportunity for Odili to expose Amaechi's involvement and hypocrisy? It is obvious this unsubstantiable Amaechi bashing is a fallout of the scars of the 2015 shocks.
What about Amachree?
If Wike is left unchecked , he lacks the discipline to behave like a sane person ,and who wants to take such chances that led to unprovoked wastes of innocent Rivers lives like the one facilitated by Gej's FG for Wike in 2015? You self can see the writing on wall for Wike in 2019.

Amaechi and Wike 'collaboed', along with Andrew Uchendu (Senator Rivers East), Magnus Abe (Rivers Southeast Senator) and others to win 2007 primary election BUT and jointly FOUGHT Celestine Omehia to reclaim it. Amaechi became Governor and it was natural that he will settle others... Abe got SSG, Wike had Chief of Staff!

in 2011 Abe went to Senate, Wike couldn't go to Senate because the Governor and Senator can't be of same Ikwerre bloc in Rivers East (Sekibo retained his seat), the only thing left was Minister, which Wike got.

2015 Wike capitalised on Amaechi/GEJ feud to pursue Governorship ambition, he wouldn't have dared it if there wasn't crises, he would have either returned as minister or move to the Senate as a riveriner was a natural successor of Amaechi. But the rest is history.

You see that Wike is a force as much as Amaechi and Amaechi is not senior politically to Wike.

even with the latest realities in Rivers? Wait till 2019.

Take time and study how an otherwise slow but seemingly uninterested chemistry teacher- Angela Merkel became the Chancellor of Germany. If you can solve energy poverty, put food on folks' tables; evolve a new agro revolution that makes fulanis want to own ranches even in the desert; unleash innovative ways of policing and securing lives and property; create sustainable jobs and businesses that promote human dignity ; provide opportunities that make people own their houses with ease; make an improved and quality health care available; etc why won't Nigerians want you Vivi ? But none of the presidential candidate has been able to convince the walls of Kano,the burnt huts of Borno,nor the creeks in Bayelsa or the elegant streets in ikoyi about the richness of their new approaches to make us submit our rights to them in 2019. Time still dey small sha.

If not for a Buhari, how would we have managed the socioeconomic rubble that PDP left this nation after 16 years of rape? In a PDP induced recession , Pmb has not only stabilized the nation, he has given us hope as well - a fundamental foundation only a better candidate can appreciate and build on.
Buhari's CV is intimidating - from security,infrastructural development, Niger Delta issue, social investment to economy diversification- he has been a better manager given the mess of a nation he was entrusted to restore to sanity since 2015.
