samobaba4u: I will advise you bring like two first to test the market. For a driver to be bringing car to your office on daily basis means you will recruit drivers living around your office. Mind you most of the drivers partner in this line of business can't even predict where they will be at a particular hour of the day hence you see them turning the car to a self-contained apartment in every part of Lagos . Sometimes I will just laugh when a partner comes here and started saying the driver must reside around so so and so. Baba doesn’t know about it. The ride that brought my babe home from the market yesterday had full Camping kit in his trunk. Box filled with clothes, bucket with soap and sponge case, towel, sandals and pillow. The man even made a cloth line inside the trunk (that’s where he hung his towel to dry) When night work was still a thing, people like him full 1004. |

Guys please save this number and avoid anything that has to do with him. 08178354749 Name: Akpan Peter
Yesterday morning I dropped a lady at Jakande first gate on his behalf, and he promised to send money as soon as I end the trip. I sent him my account number when I got to Ikate before turning towards Jakande and I ended the trip at Ilasan (2300), I called him to let him know the fare so he can send money before I drop the girl.
Less than two minutes after the call, I got a WhatsApp message from him with screenshot of the payment receipt, I let the girl go hoping I will get the money, meanwhile Zenith bank was acting up as at that time, I couldn’t login into their mobile app.
By the time I was able to login, no money from him. I sent him a chat and he said it’s network.
We kept going at it all through the day. Later he said he forgot his token at home, the last time I spoke with him he said he was in traffic (9:30pm) that as soon as he gets home he will send it.
I slept early, when I woke up this morning I checked to see if he had sent it but nothing. I called him, he didn’t pick up till he blocked my line.
When I ran a check on his number through TrueCaller, attached below is what he’s name came up as......so I figured he’s a chronic scammer and this is not his first time.
Akpan Jemi Lo Wo #1xxx means Akpan Owes Me Money.

brogxy: Oga calm down, using Google map is part of the basic skills needed to drive on the platforms. Not able to use the map will make the job VERY hard for you.
So you also mean that you will start asking for directions from passerby when you are on trips. You won't last on the platform. |

Explorers: There might be chance of survival if fired from around 500metre - 1km away.
If they can get a volunteer to wear the vest and take the bullet from 1km away. A volunteer? Rough play. |

Damn . Isn’t the whole stunt a waste of time? Considering the fact that the person who is shot will still die from the impact. Giving it a second thought, snipers don’t shoot from a close range, maybe if the distance between the target and the sniper is far then there’s a possibility of survival. |

InfinityEstates: Some riders are just out to frustrate you and spoil your day.
So first trip when I came out, called Rider and she gave me her location. But the first thing she said was WHERE ARE YOU?, even when I greeted Good morning, she didn't respond. Ok o.
Got to the gate and I called her to call the gate. She said she was going to come out, so I parked outside and slid on arrived.
Before I knew what was happening, I saw Paid waiting 10mins. What
I tried her number, it was not going through. Security now came to check boot. I went in but the security didn't give the right direction. Got to where security directed me to and called, no response, then network became spotty, then she picked I couldn't hear her. Meanwhile paid waiting don dey enter 15mins.
She called again and I tried describing where I was and I asked her what road she was. She was like "R16" or something, I was like let me ask someone and she was like you don't even know where you are. (For my mind, you dey mad? You direct me?). I shaa no talk.
I asked someone and the person told me to ask for the exact ROAD in the estate. I called her back and asked her, she was talking and I couldn't hear, so I ended the call to call her back. Then she called back.
Rider: Oga, that thing wey you just do, wey I dey talk you just end call for my ear, no ever try am, I no be your wife.
Me: You dey MAD. You no even reach half of my wife.
Cancelled ride, Waka comot. Bad trip avoid
Some riders a mad sha. What estate? Let me guess, Horizon II? |

Thanks Since you are a new driver without a functional Uber or Bolt account, I’m not so sure on what you should do. Assuming you have a live account with either of them, all you simply need to do is take a screenshot of your Driver account on the app and upload it to your INdriver account. Have you tried OCar/Oride? |

northbird: Guys, something happened this morning.
A shocking experience.
I got a trip from my end going to Itire surulere.
Using Google map, it told us to avoid Fagba traffic n follow old Abeokuta road.
Some few metres to the railway crossing at Odejobi.
A guy walked up to me , told showed me his police id card n told me to park.
At first, I thought maybe cos the rider didn't put on facemask,
I cleared off the road, the next thing go and open your boot. I opened my boot, one of the policemen followed me n started checking the boot.
Then it dawned on me, dis was not facemask stuff, they were looking for drugs. The policeman asked ." are you uber? I said yes. By the time we got back to the front ,the other policeman was already in strong contention wt d lady rider. They found some SK or marijuana on her.
I was shocked myself, though she looked the part from her dressing wen i first picked her up. I just thought maybe its one of those girls coming back from last night hustle.. So no issues.
Long story short, we ended up at the police station. I just left now. She is still there...
Say a word of prayer before stepping out . N consider well before you do offline for total strangers. I was going to raise the awareness here yesterday morning but events of the day got the best of me. Yesterday morning there was road block at Abraham Adesanya, very strange, going to Addo road again they were there, I was thinking it’s due to a stunt a driver pulled on them on Saturday that got them furious to set a road block maybe they can get the car. Most times when I pick up young guys they have drugs with them and tell me to help them keep it. I usually decline it, if it’s a route that I know police might be on the road (night hustle mostly) I cancel the trip. Roads that are police free, you hold on to your thing while I drive. The driver that mad a mess of the SARS guys on Friday at Ilaje is a dare devil driver with his Matrix. Anybody witnessed that scene? |
