northbird: Seniors, Please, will vgc be flooded around @ dis point in tym.
Cc: babadee, izzou, bigleaf, davit, donfortunate, pope, gentlelife I have no idea. Chevy view is flooded so expect nothing less at VGC. Meanwhile I’m on a trip to Festac and I’ll need assistance with the best route to use in getting out of here. (Though I haven’t gotten to festac). The story behind this Festac trip: I had just drop a rider off at Chevy view when I got a request at the estate gate, no destination, called rider. Me: Good afternoon R: Good day bros, abeg before you ask me where I’m going let me tell you. Me: okay? R: I’m going to Mile 2, trade fair to be precise. I know it’s far and you won’t go but pls hear me out. Me: Okay, I’m with you. R: I’ll pay you 15k to take me there, in fact drop me at Festac, I’ll find my way from there. You are the sixth driver I’ll book. Me: Hmm hold on for a moment, I’ll call you back. A quick check on Bolt app, Chevy view to Festac town estimated price showed 3300-4200. I called him back and I picked him from Marcopolo. We’ve been on the trip since 1:15. |

My vehicle road worthiness is from Ogun State, I renewed it in February when it got due including the Insurance; still from Ogun. Bolt is yet to notify me of expired RW Certificate and Insurance. Beng1234: That’s how I carried a rider from surulere to banana island. Baba was eating rice and breaking bones with his teeth like a mad man. I jejely told him no to litter the seat and rugs. As I ended trip, I got another request immediately. Something asked me to look back. Lol and behold I saw the bowl baba used in eating on the back seat. I look out, baba was trying to meet the person he came to look for. I called him back like he forgot something. When he came back, I asked him to pick his bowl and dispose. He then said I should help me dispose. “Oh! Na me be lawma abi? Baba, take your plate”. You never see anything ; shebi Na you allow am eat. I had a rider some weeks ago, driving to destination bros bought groundnut; the one with shell, in traffic. In my mind abi this man will litter my carpet with this thing or what. I they look. Baba turned to me and said ‘‘where’s your dustbin”? I said excuse me He said Heen I mean where I can dump the trash. I told him to use the nylon with him. Or another guy I picked from circle mall, the minute he sat down, he began to shred the pos printout on the carpet. I looked at him With strong face and said bro this is not right, you are deliberately littering my car. This guy had the mind to tell me it’s my duty to clean my car after every ride. Telling me how he’s been to Ghana, he does whatever he wants in the car yen yen yen. Mad people everywhere |

InfinityEstates: Hmm... Recharge topup. I never even thought about that. That's something I'll definitely try.
Some weeks ago, I dropped off a lady in the night. Ride ended N1700. She gave me 2K. I didn't have N300.
Me: I'm sorry I don't have change. Do you have N200 so I can give you N500? (I had 5H).
Rider: I don't have (with a frown on her face). That's how you guys do. You'll always say you don't have change so that we would leave the change for you.
Me: Madam that's ridiculous. I genuinely don't have change. If I did, I'll give you.
Rider: Bla Bla Bla...
Me: You know what, take... (Giving her the 5H)
Rider: (Collecting it...) What do we do, I don't have N200.
Me: Don't worry, you can go. Have a good night.
Rider: Oh, thank you... (Smiling now)
Me: Most times I top up their line, some will say they don’t want. I tell them to give me their account number so I can transfer their change. ...and some I tell them to transfer the money. Saves us both the stress. |

northbird: @ babadee, Pettrocam is good, I think d problem wt most filling stations is wt their attendants.
I don't know if you noticed, its a common practice among them, you ask for fuel of #2,000. They program #2,000 into the console/ dispenser.
Fuel starts reading, wen it gets to #500 or so, they grab the nozzle n start squeezing it. I'm lyk you have programmed it already, its going to stop @ #2,000.
Why r you squeezing the nozzle again? I don't get it, I'm always wondering, then wats d point of inputting 2,000 in d first place. The last time I bought 3k fuel from their station around LBS, I couldn’t gross 7k, I was traumatized : Even my fuel gauge can attest to it. With 2k fuel from Northwest or Mobil station, I gross an average of 9k. Yesterday with 2500 fuel from Northwest, I grossed #12300. I agree that the attendants are crooks. One lady at the Ilaje branch of northwest tried to scam me of 1k some weeks back. |

Felicity0001: Lastly, my fellow drivers anytime una pass that PETRICAM for dey along LASU-IDUME road try stop by buy fuel there their fuel na baba because that 3k fuel took me to Charity B/S, Bolade B/S and then back to PU at Charity B/S area again before drop off at Ipaja then to Abule Egba, the next morning to Oyingbo, down to Abeokuta and back to Command before I refuel. And mind you all of these waka was with full AC apart from going to Abeokuta that I didn't use the AC too much. I don’t understand. 3k fuel ?? And which of the Commands? Meanwhile PETROCAM is the last place I will ever buy fuel except it’s the last option. Try any of the northwest stations on the Island or Mobil at Osapa. |
